30/03/2026: Superb restaurant, warm welcome, typical decor, and of course, exquisite cuisine served by the smiling and attentive owner. We wanted a royal couscous, traditional style, and it arrived piping hot, with its intoxicating aroma. My partner preferred a chicken tagine. Everything was delicious and in generous portions. For his birthday, our grandson, a couscous enthusiast, fulfilled his wish: to taste a real couscous! Thank you to the chef and thank you to our lovely waitress. The best part is the exotic background music that transports you. I highly recommend this establishment! The only downside: the dining room was a bit chilly; bring a light sweater in colder weather.

26/04/2026: A true culinary gem in Auxerre! For our first stop in Auxerre, we couldn't have dreamed of a more delightful gastronomic surprise. Le Jardin Gourmand transported us with a perfectly balanced seasonal menu, where the purity of the ingredients is combined with exquisitely delicate flavors. Each dish is a work of art in itself, with presentations so creative and meticulous that they seem almost too beautiful to eat. The experience was all the more memorable because the setting is absolutely magnificent, offering an intimate and timeless atmosphere. The whole experience is enhanced by impeccable service, at once professional, attentive, and discreet. Book without hesitation!

27/02/2026: I ordered a lemon chicken tagine on Uber Eats under the name Walida, with bread added for an extra charge. What I received was a sort of chicken boiled in water with a runny sauce and raw carrots… It was the worst tagine I've ever eaten because it wasn't really a tagine at all… just steamed chicken with carrots and two pieces of bread… a far cry from the hearty and flavorful dish I was expecting! It was more like hospital food for a patient on a diet. Very disappointing! I definitely do not recommend it!

28/09/2025: I've been eating at this kebab shop for over 25 years because it's the best in my opinion! The meat is amazing and the portions are generous! The owner and his wife are always smiling... I only have one word: GO FOR IT!

Excellent and varied crêpes, from savory to sweet, the service is very pleasant and friendly, and the desserts are homemade, which is a welcome change from some restaurants. Really great! A very good family-run establishment.

10/04/2026: A restaurant I highly recommend! The owner is very welcoming and warm! The food is delicious and reminiscent of our grandmothers' cooking (especially the tomato sauce). We even enjoyed the terrace in the evening on a lovely square in Auxerre! Go without hesitation!

04/03/2026: I went to this pizzeria with my partner. The atmosphere seemed nice, and we received a warm welcome. The thing is, they were initially out of spicy salami, and I wanted a calzone with that meat—I can't remember the exact name. They informed me after taking my order, coming back 10 minutes later to ask what I would like as a replacement. I ordered a four-cheese pizza. Again, they were out of blue cheese. The waiter told me they would replace it with scarmozzarella. I said okay. Once the pizza arrived, I tasted it and noticed an amount of cheese I'd never seen before. It was four or five times the thickness of the crust! 🤣 And in the end, all I could taste was one cheese that was incredibly rubbery. My partner asked, "What cheeses are in it?" It turns out there was ALREADY scarmozzarella, so they added a double amount plus mozzarella and some kind of gouda, from what I gathered (which I couldn't taste at all). Honestly, I couldn't even eat half the pizza. I let them clear the table, paid, and we left without any fuss. But it really wasn't good, sorry. Have a good day.
