01/05/2026: A tiny restaurant with a very big experience.
The meal is a complete surprise, the dishes are pre-packaged and come to the table in order. Small dishes, almost a bite with alternating flavors. The place uses fresh spices in unusual combinations.
Butter with rosemary, fish bites in a special way and millions of beef in a fragrant sauce.
I enjoyed every moment, I decided in advance to come back again for the new menu.
19/04/2026: A superb discovery! Burgundy showcased beautifully on a plate! An excellent wine selection with some truly outstanding local wines. And finally, a passionate team eager to share their gastronomic delights and the joy of their meticulous craftsmanship. Bravo!

The meat was tough, the potato croquettes were soggy inside. And the dessert was awful. I highly recommend going out of your way to avoid it.

The dishes are homemade, delicious, and beautifully presented, using high-quality ingredients. The service is friendly, and you feel comfortable from beginning to end.

We had a fantastic time; the kebabs were truly excellent, and the atmosphere was very friendly 👍
We had a great time and chatted about the local club with the staff, who were very welcoming—a truly positive experience.

For our first stop in Auxerre, we couldn't have dreamed of a more delightful gastronomic surprise. Le Jardin Gourmand transported us with a perfectly balanced seasonal menu, where the purity of the ingredients is combined with exquisitely delicate flavors. Each dish is a work of art in itself, with presentations so creative and meticulous that they seem almost too beautiful to eat.
The experience was all the more memorable because the setting is absolutely magnificent, offering an intimate and timeless atmosphere. The whole experience is enhanced by impeccable service, at once professional, attentive, and discreet.
Book without hesitation!

27/02/2026: I ordered a lemon chicken tagine on Uber Eats under the name Walida, with bread added for an extra charge. What I received was a sort of chicken boiled in water with a runny sauce and raw carrots… It was the worst tagine I've ever eaten because it wasn't really a tagine at all… just steamed chicken with carrots and two pieces of bread… a far cry from the hearty and flavorful dish I was expecting! It was more like hospital food for a patient on a diet. Very disappointing! I definitely do not recommend it!

Excellent and varied crêpes, from savory to sweet, the service is very pleasant and friendly, and the desserts are homemade, which is a welcome change from some restaurants.

15/12/2025: This Léon de Bruxelles in the northern part of Auxerre is typical of the chain: you go there without any surprises, but you know you'll get a decent meal.
The menu is, of course, focused on seafood, but offers a few options if you don't like fish. I tried the Léon Casserole, which was good, although the amount of fish was a bit small and probably frozen. Be careful with the garnish: although it says sweet potatoes, it's mostly potatoes (about 80%). The paella was okay, but it's more of a French-style paella, nothing exceptional, and the rice used isn't ideal for this dish.
Note that the drinks are quite expensive.
Overall: It's a reliable restaurant for a quick meal if you're not looking for anything original. A decent choice.

20/01/2026: Beautiful room, recently renovated. Everything is brand new. Very quiet. The receptionist was very attentive. I'll definitely stay at this hotel again on my next trip. Secure parking, great.
18/01/2026: A warm welcome from our hostesses after a short stay. The room is comfortable and quiet with a courtyard view. The breakfast was plentiful.
There is a wardrobe but no shelves for storing clothes. This should be considered when it is replaced.
