08/08/2024: so what do I start with? the accoutrements thought to be disgusting? for which the chili sauce was refused to me under the pretext that it was for the bokit... However, I also took a cod flavored bokit because yes I was wondering if it wasn't bread flavored with cod, It was 7:20 p.m., it was hot, I had a Perrier, apparently the drinks are from 8 p.m., probably for the OJ, sorry, but it was hot, never again, neither in Chambly nor in front of the Leroy Merlin, just run away from these incompetents. FYI your answer made me smile 😊 unpleasant? lol! it's true that you exude joy, given the garnish it's sure that you are profitable but there too it's a lack of respect towards the customers that you despise, I'm going to stop there, good luck all the same but without me 😅🤣 I don’t think I’m the only one who thinks that. Short! enough wasted time with you. 🙏😊

07/07/2024: I valid ! It's been 2 weeks since I came across their Instagram page, I ended up ordering and honestly no regrets! The bokits are good and the dough does not retain the fat unlike bokits where this is sometimes the case They are also very well stocked We tested the crispy and soft cod accras New customer! Well done

15/11/2024: Very friendly staff, the pastels are very good and the drinks delicious (we had the ginger and Bissap ones). However, the Yassa did not live up to our expectations.

11/12/2025: We had a great time, the three of us enjoyed a very generous portion of couscous and the friendly owner. I highly recommend it.

19/05/2024: Mixed experience at this restaurant. We had a good time in this restaurant, we were well received, the dishes were good. On the other hand, surprise when cashing out. There waitress had to give us 13 euros in change, then 5 minutes later she came back to our table telling us that the account was correct... We had to go to the counter to resolve the problem. To conclude, the waitress seemed dishonest and left us with a bad impression of this restaurant. It's a shame

26/04/2024: Nice place with original African dishes and moderate prices. Enjoyed Yassa and Mafé, both was good. I liked the wooden plates - they looked like hearts. Try the Bissap - very nice and also served in a wooden glass.

30/12/2024: Canteen style restaurant. You help yourself. Receptionist is an apprentice with little culinary knowledge. The beef is hearty and good, but you don't have to look further than to fill your belly.

27/12/2024: Incredibly good, as someone who loves African food, it was a delight. The Yassa mafe and chicken reminded me of my Malian friend's cuisine, it was a great experience. The chef is super nice. Go for it!

16/09/2024: Delicious Senegali food, the girl who served us was very kind, since not being able to communicate correctly, she offered us samples of each sauce before choosing a dish. Quiet place frequented by locals to which I would definitely return

14/09/2024: Great service and very good vegetarian mafé (which is also vegan)! It was a pleasure to eat a CEO!

12/11/2024: We had dinner there Saturday evening at 6. We were quickly served, and the dishes were excellent, both in terms of the quality of the meats and the size of the dishes. The Landes salad is huge! I left with a doggy bag! Around 9:30 p.m., there was a power cut. Which was due to Enedis and not at all a problem in the restaurant. The atmosphere was very original since the lighting was done by all cell phones! The servers went out of their way to continue their service and remained attentive to keep us informed. And when it was time to pay the bill, they offered appetizers and ice cream. Hat ! We highly recommend it.

28/07/2024: Je suis arrivée au restaurant à 21h30 et la serveuse avec un air très froid m'a dit qu'ils ne servent plus ! Pourtant le restaurant ferme à 22h30.

02/06/2024: Les Tontons Afros is quite a well-known sight in Lille as they decorate the outside of their resto with huge teddy bears sat at tables. I visited for lunch and enjoyed some tasty 'tapas' style dishes. All three had good flavours, especially the small kebabs. They didn't serve any kind of coke zero or or different-brand equivalent. That's a dissapointment, and I'm sure I'm not the last customer who will be annoyed at this.
