20/07/2026: I tried the Okra Chicken. I almost threw up. I left with a nearly full plate. Avoid at all costs!!! The waitress who spoke to me rudely is someone to avoid everywhere.

04/07/2026: I was there on June 25th, 2026. The restaurant is very pleasant and clean. There's music to create a nice atmosphere. The service was quick, friendly, and attentive. The food was absolutely fantastic. Special mention to the super friendly manager. Honestly, it was flawless! 🙌🏽

02/07/2026: Not gonna lie I found a strand of someone’s HAIR in my bread but I didn’t mind too much because the waiter was so kind and brought me a new one, wouldnt go out of my way to go again, but not something I would try to avoid either

27/10/2025: Honestly, it's a no-go. I went there and skipped the fish; it wasn't fresh at all, and the damn banana wasn't what it used to be. I feel like it was rushed and tasteless. The meat itself is too spicy. I find the dining room not welcoming at all; when you walked in, you could see them drinking. The two cooks were with men. Honestly, I should avoid it. I also contacted the Consumer Affairs department.

07/10/2025: ⚠️ What a disappointment! We had dinner for two: a choukouya dish, a capitaine fish, and a 75cl bottle of wine to share. From the moment we arrived, there was no welcome, no greeting, no seating. The cook was sitting at a customer's table, beer and glass in hand… The atmosphere already set the tone. The first course arrived too quickly to be fresh, clearly suggesting it had been microwaved. Five minutes later, the second course arrived: a completely dry and inedible fish. When we mentioned this, the cook calmly explained that they were following the policy of serving unsold items from the previous day, or even earlier. As a result, we both got sick. We will be filing a complaint with the DGCCRF (French Directorate General for Competition Policy, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control), as this is unacceptable. No gesture of goodwill, no apology. And to top it all off, we were simply told: "Next time, ask for fresh fish when you arrive." No comment… An experience to absolutely avoid.

15/06/2026: I placed an order on Uber Eats and frankly, I was outraged to receive my order in a black bag (the deguê and the bottle of water) and the lattike and the plantains in a white bag… no bag at all… nothing. The lattike was packed in an aluminum bowl with two or three pieces of cucumber… It was dry, as was the chicken, which was TOUGH, very dry. No seasoning… no oil, no sauce… the deguê was barely digestible! The millet grains were rock hard! And a liquid (I don't know if it was milk or yogurt). In short… the taste, the presentation… the preparation. At least make the effort to present the products you sell in a more appealing way. It's disappointing.

25/05/2026: Very good coffee, first visit, friendly place

27/04/2026: I wanted to play a game, but I was told there weren't any. I wanted to play something else, but I was told there weren't any of those either. I asked for a coffee, and I was told there weren't any, even though it's a café that doesn't serve coffee. The service was appalling, racist, and hostile, even though I have nothing against the establishment and had never been there before.

15/03/2026: Terrible experience. The bartender was unpleasant and rushed me through everything! I absolutely do not recommend it.

14/07/2026: The service was terrible. I was there on Saturday, July 11, 2026. The waitress was slow. I ordered a soya beignets appetizer and an eru cassava couscous. The appetizer arrived 40 minutes after I asked when it would be ready. For five minutes, I noticed the beignets hadn't arrived. I asked the waitress, "Where are my beignets?" She replied, "Oh, there aren't any beignets. The cook said there aren't any beignets." The service was awful. Sometimes I can go months without going, but since I don't live in Strasbourg, it's always the same. You'll never see me in your restaurant again. On top of that, the person next to me left because they'd been waiting for beignets for an hour. The worst part is, they take orders knowing they don't have certain items. I gave you one star. because we can't publish without giving at least one star 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

11/07/2026: This is the third time I've ordered and for the third time I'm disappointed because I received a small fish and not enough garnish. Try to improve this aspect; even if the fish is small, at least focus on the side dish.

02/08/2026: We stumbled upon a group of almost 30 people (2 hen parties + 1 stag party) whom we'd met on the street a few minutes earlier. The welcome was warm, and the atmosphere was fantastic! We had a wonderful evening (especially thanks to our new friends). In fact, we're looking for the "spoiler" from the stag party! 🤪

12/07/2026: Last night, I arrived alone. I approached respectfully and waited. They were letting in their male acquaintances who were alone. If it's forbidden to let men into a place like this, how can they let their acquaintances in? Furthermore, I saw an employee refuse entry to two people, then suggest they buy something—I think it was expensive—in order to get in. Add to that the chaos outside the door; several people were talking amongst themselves, which was completely unacceptable. Finally, I heard one of them speaking my language. I answered him in our language, even though I speak French well, but he turned on me, claiming he was only wearing a hat. I would like to remind you that you are just a security guard who works eight hours a day to earn a living. It's absurd to lose the respect of customers for a precarious job. This is the worst place I have ever seen. My advice to the owner: rethink your establishment, because with employees like these, you're going to lose a lot of customers. They're just laborers with no experience in human interaction.

08/08/2026: Excellent bakery! I had three mini fougasse with minced meat, a large coffee, and an orange liqueur, all for only €5.30. I received a very warm welcome; the owner was very friendly. If you're in the area, go there—it's a real change from Parisian prices!

25/07/2026: The Asian woman refused me access to the toilet because I wasn't buying anything at the bar, even though I had spent €50 on gaming tickets.

16/06/2026: As friendly as URSSAF inspectors... I swear they were nicer to me during my last detention. I live right across the street and I have to walk 5 minutes to buy cigarettes from normal shops... whatever you do, don't go there...
