You can feel the attention to detail, both in the flavors and in the pleasant and convivial atmosphere. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it and will gladly return! 28/02/2026: Let's start with the positives, because you have to start somewhere: the welcome was pleasant. Well… pleasant considering that, given the overall standard of the restaurant, I was expecting much worse. In reality, it was simply normal. Which, here, already seems like quite an achievement. Next came the presentation of the menu. Surprise: about half the dishes weren't available. As for the famous "mountain" dishes, they were limited to two daring options: raclette or fondue. Original. The price, however, was much less so: €29.90. We naively thought that price was for the main course. How wrong we were. After asking, the waiter clarified that the fondue was "for two." Perfect, we ordered it. While we waited, we ordered drinks: a beer (no surprise there) and a virgin mojito. Apart from the crushed ice—which, it seems, was made on-site—nothing was homemade. An industrial mojito, then. Disappointing, but consistent with what followed. Finally, the fondue arrived. Disappointing as well. The bread? Either stale or not fully defrosted, with suspicious stains and a still-cold interior. The cheese? Bad. Most likely industrial. Which is still a bold choice in the mountains, surrounded by local cheesemakers. A little bonus: the burner wasn't working. We only noticed it when the fondue started to solidify. This led to a little game with my partner: who would have the honor of attracting a waiter's attention, as we felt completely invisible. Once the problem was pointed out, the flame was relit… too late. Then another problem: no lid to extinguish it. Result: burnt and hardened cheese. Complete disaster. So we gave up on dessert (out of sheer survival instinct) and went to pay. The bill: €72. For a beer, an industrial virgin mojito, and a fondue that probably came out of a packet. This price might have been understandable given the use of local, high-quality ingredients. But that clearly wasn't the case. To top it all off, the waiter told us the fondue was "for two," without ever specifying that the price was per person. An important detail, especially for a student. It had been several years since I'd been on a ski vacation. If the prices had been clearly stated, I simply wouldn't have eaten there. In short: an expensive, disappointing, and memorable experience… but not for the right reasons.

07/09/2025: Family restaurant located on a lively street in Barcelonette. A family tradition since 1911! Outdoor seating (off the street) and indoor dining. Reasonably priced for main course & dessert, starter & main course, and starter + main course + dessert. Three choices each time. Generous plates, quality local produce. Friendly and fast service.
