13/09/2025: We had a few hours to kill before a flight so chose Le 3e for a lazy lunch - what a fantastic choice. The service was great and dining whilst overlooking the Cote d’Azur is always a pleasure. We chose the Chef’s selection lunch menu - which included 3 courses, a glass of wine and a coffee for 55€. To start we had a delicious prawn and black garlic carpaccio - a work of art. For main course it was Sea Bass - cooked to crispy perfection - and placed upon a deconstructed moules-frites with fondant style potatoes, mussels, shallots and a foamy buttery sauce - absolutely to die for. Then to finish we could choose a desert off the a la carte menu - so we tried the hot chocolate and caramel cookie with ice cream. Which I can only describe as heavenly. The glass of rosé we had included was very nice (4.1 on vivino) and the wine list seemed fairly priced for the location. Having just spent 10 nights dining in Monte Carlo I would put this food up there alongside anything we had there - not just technically but in flavour. And the lunch menu is phenomenal value for the quality of the food. Congratulations to the chef and the team - we will return.

26/08/2025: My favorite secluded spot in Nice. Perfect for relaxing after work. It's not on the street, but away from all the noise, yet right by the sea. The staff is friendly. The service is fantastic. The atmosphere is spotless and generally quiet. There's also live music on summer evenings. If you're looking for Eros Ramazzotti-style music, delicious wines, and copieux plates, you should definitely try it.

The service is impeccable, demonstrating a professionalism that lives up to the reputation of the place. However, we were slightly disappointed by the quality of the dishes, which did not fully justify the prices charged. Despite this, La Rotonde remains a unique experience, offering a timeless moment in one of the most iconic establishments on the Côte d'Azur

09/07/2025: We went for lunch. Our waiter was very friendly and spoke excellent English. He talked us through the menu and made recommendations. The calamari was among the best I've ever had, with a unique texture unlike what I've had before. It was ace! The bourride was also lovely, and the wine suggested with it was also lovely! An excellent meal and a steal at the price.

09/07/2025: Have been here several times and been very satisfied in every way. Today we were back but thought the food might not quite live up to the same level as before. But otherwise very good. Service top notch and so cozy.

23/06/2025: We were thrilled with the fresh seafood on the platter! The shrimp and snails (we tried the latter for the first time) were simply unbelievably delicious!

15/06/2025: A very nice family-run seafood joint. The surroundings are not particularly exciting - it's situated next to a busy thoroughfare and in the shade of the buildings, but the food is worthwhile to sit down and enjoy your time. The selection of oysters, prawns and seafood is fantastic.

16/05/2025: This is a really lovely bar. We went here 2 nights out of 3 (because we found it on night 2) and Michael the owner is friendly and has a great bar. Definitely worth a visit and we will come back. I managed to leave my jacket and he kept it for me to pick up! Great music and not too loud so you can chat!

26/09/2024: I came to Lou Pantail on the recommendation of a friend who promised me that everything was excellent, and... she was right! The starter, the main course, including the cocktail and the service, everything was absolutely perfect. Congratulations to the entire team for this exceptional experience. It's my turn to recommend this place, and I will happily come back as soon as I'm back in Nice!

24/09/2024: Restaurant serving delicious Nice cuisine with efficient service, unfortunately dishes a little expensive, nice decoration, second course system when you dine in the first course you feel pushed towards the exit! In a group the addition is complicated and yes reflection of the service young people of 20 can have more money than more people contrary to the reflection made! On the other hand, choice of music and nice candles during dessert on the occasion of a birthday! To be recommended by a smaller committee.

14/12/2024: Tenemos la pizza pili como de costumbre para comer en un banco cerca de la playa. Ha subido hasta 11€ pero está LLENO de coberturas y queso y nos alimenta a los dos. Hay otras opciones de pizza por 8 y 9 € que tenemos pensado probar. Las pizzas están listas en menos de 10 minutos para llevar. También venden bebidas. El personal es amable y hablan Inglés, así como francés: ) esto es solo para llevar... no hay asientos, baños, etc

06/12/2024: Frankly, even since their work and investments in 1 machine that calibrates the size, they are still as good (normal) and serve a little less heavy but still more than most other restaurants. They are not stingy about the toppings 😊 and all that for 10-12€ 👍

12/12/2025: What a great time! We were getting together with former colleagues and it was an extremely pleasant evening! The setting, with its open kitchen, makes you feel right at home. The waitress was very friendly, professional, and patient. Finally, the food was excellent (beef stew with gnocchi, Niçoise platter, gnocchi with gorgonzola, scallop risotto… and the Swiss chard tart!!!) And the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this place: plus, we were able to park easily this Saturday!
