18/01/2026: Lovely ambience. I recommend the carrot cake; it had a unique combination of flavours and so delicious that you would not be able to tell that it’s gluten-free.All the cakes looked awesome! You can sit in the cafe or have take out. The owner speaks English and served me well.

27/12/2025: From the many sweet options to the carefully selected savoury options, Amour manages to maintain a very high standard across its range. Highlights include the Golden lattes, the Matcha lattes (with a choice of plant based mylks), the waffles and almond and clementine cake (currently on special). The space is clean and airy with great natural lighting. If you're lucky, you might meet some extremely cute canines.

Honestly, thank you for your effort; everything was delicious, piping hot, and perfectly prepared. Excellent value for money. A big thank you also to the cashier who took my order with a smile. Well done!

15/02/2026: A wonderful discovery! I had an absolutely delicious beef curry: flavorful, well-balanced, and not too spicy—truly excellent. The meat was tender, and the sauce was bursting with flavor. The restaurant is small but cozy, with an atmosphere reminiscent of a Japanese yatai (屋台): a simple, specialized, and authentic place, almost like a street-food joint. I really like this intimate concept focused on a single specialty. The waitress was lovely and very welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. One small drawback: the lighting is rather dim, making the space a bit dark. A little more sophisticated lighting could make the atmosphere even warmer. Another point to note: the pork-free ramen options are limited on the menu. Since I don't eat pork, I would have liked to have a meat alternative (beef or chicken) as part of the set menu, without having to resort to a vegetarian or more expensive option outside of the set menu. Despite this, the experience was very positive, and I will gladly return.

24/12/2025: Small and great buffet restaurant with delicious sushi, fried snacks, tasty main courses with fish or meat, an ice cream bar with coconut ice cream, tarts, filled donuts and a salad bar with seaweed salad.

04/01/2026: I booked the entire venue for a retirement party. The meal was excellent, including a buffet-style aperitif. The service was attentive and efficient. There was also the option to dance. Aurélie and her husband contributed to the success of my evening.

30/12/2025: Arrived to Nice late and was wandering around trying to find a place to eat. Most hosts and owners simply shook their heads. The owner of this little place smiled and welcomed us...it was great after hearing so many "nos" (French accent). He served and cooked. The food was delicious. They let our puppy come in as well, so it made for a memorable meal. I don't love restaurants in the old part of Nice, but this one was great. Thanks for a wonderful meal.

22/03/2026: The atmosphere was so-so. I was expecting very fresh oysters from abroad, but instead I encountered Korean oyster flavors in France. They were incredibly salty. (I ordered size 2 oysters, but perhaps due to a misunderstanding, size 3 came out... No wonder they were so small... I kept thinking something was off while eating.) Shucking the mussels was pure manual labor... I ate them, but it didn't feel like I had eaten anything.

03/03/2026: Nice, but could be better. I'm taking the time to write a long review because this restaurant has real potential! The Caesar salad, for example, isn't complicated: you need good ingredients. Here, the tomatoes (in winter!!) aren't ripe and are certainly full of pesticides. The salad isn't very flavorful... I know, we'll say that's typical, but it's the main ingredient. The chicken nuggets are well-prepared but there's too much of them, and they don't taste like real chicken (you can tell it's factory-farmed). A good free-range chicken is good, though, and it's better when you know the animal had a decent life. In 2026, we won't care anymore. The Parmesan is the cheapest kind... but good Parmesan is good. That's also what you expect from a Caesar salad. The sauce is okay but lacks anchovies (traditional in this recipe). The croutons taste of nothing but the frying oil they've soaked through. It's a shame because it's immediately obvious that you've chosen to reduce the quality of the ingredients to increase your profit margins, and we don't want to experience that when we go to a restaurant. Yet, the cooking itself is excellent. You should reduce the amount of chicken and Parmesan, remove the fresh tomatoes (perhaps replace them with homemade sun-dried tomatoes when they're out of season), spice up the sauce a bit, and highlight the quality of the ingredients. When we go to a restaurant, even at this price, we want to eat artisanal, handmade food, local and organic products that respect the customer, the kitchen, and the entire production chain. Otherwise, I'll just buy the same salad at Monoprix in a pre-packaged container and serve it on a plate to make it look like I'm at home. ON THE POSITIVE: The wine by the glass was good, the roasted Camembert was good (the bread was a bit too toasty), and the gourmet coffee was good. The service was impeccable and the setting very pleasant (I appreciated the few comic books available). Everything was clean and nicely decorated.

09/03/2026: Disappointment… after hearing so much about this restaurant, we went with friends. First of all, let's not even talk about the hygiene… bread being taken from tables and then served on another table, the bread stand is disgusting with pieces so dry you wonder how long they've been there. The silver cutlery had a small hole in the knife, and black liquid was leaking out… there are much better traditional restaurants in Nice for better value!

08/03/2026: The food is incredibly good, however, you might want to plan for a different seating than Saturday night, as the wait can be a deterrent.

10/11/2024: Probably the most emblematic ice cream parlor in Nice! And I promise you that it has held its first place for many, many years! The ice creams are good, plentiful, the team is friendly and efficient! The prices are fair compared to the competition, and frankly the location is perfect. I will continue to go there!

Delicious oysters, as well as sea urchins depending on the catch (I was very lucky to be able to taste some today 😋). Everything is excellent and generous (cod loin with beurre blanc sauce). Thank you to the whole team for your kindness! I can't wait to go back!
