26/07/2024: We came here for a quick snack and stayed a while longer. Each of our eight-person team found something for themselves here. Many snacks and ready meals in various flavors. Friendly service, reasonable prices.
01/07/2024: Thought I would give this a go as I was after some cheap Chinese takeaway... they microwaved the food but parts of the food were still cold and food was pretty bland.

29/09/2024: Horrible burger that was bathed in its sauce. Cook who licked his fingers several times without gloves while preparing burgers! Refusal to reimburse me above all.
We waited 40 minutes for two burgers even though there were only 5 customers maximum!
To flee! Hygiene rules need to be reviewed!

26/07/2024: I had been here a couple of times in the evening - the bearded guy in the picture was most welcoming and friendly. During the day time, on my one and only visit, a totally different picture! The bartender and the overweight guy were both the most unwelcoming, unfriendly hospitality staff I have encountered in years. They were rude with myself and another tourist couple, continually moving tables and instructing us to move. Behaved differently when a local appeared. Avoid and don't support such a horrible business!
10/07/2024: Both staff act like mutes and couldn’t be bothered to even give a smile. Beer was ok at $7 a pint but zero vibe or atmosphere

13/08/2024: Given the comments, at first I said to myself I wouldn't go there and go to the other 2 next door which weren't great in the end. I decided to go there to form my own opinion. I bought baguettes and sandwiches, they are very good, I am not disappointed and what's more, hot baguettes are always a pleasure.

If the ratatouille was overall very good, the pieces of charred vegetables were less appreciable. The stew was dry and the gnocchi overcooked. In short, the cooking needs to be reviewed. The service also seemed unorganized.

06/04/2024: Very rude. We wanted to have a drink and were rudely turned away with the information that the empty restaurant was fully booked due to the show. When I asked if I could go to the toilet for a moment, I was told that this was only for guests and I was turned away. It's a shame how the community treats each other. This is a very bad place.

14/09/2024: So what has become of the Hôtel Mercure brand?
What’s more, we thought we would find a high-level Mercure hotel at this address (Promenade des Anglais).
Everything seems old, from another era! This feeling is present from the layout of the reception.
The room is also not up to standard: painting, decoration, bathroom, bedding; we have to start all over again.
You should not expect the standard of other Mercury!
I'll temper my comment a little. The next morning, expressing my disappointment at reception, I was listened to by a very pleasant and very professional person. We were able to change rooms and the new one corresponds a little better to Mercure standards.

13/09/2024: It's a bit old for the price. Reception does not have the charm that we are used to from All Accor. The service in the breakfast room is very nice and competent.

11/08/2024: "The best pan bagnats in 06! By far! I recommend" that was my comment before, but now I would say that the pan bagnats are still as good but the service is the bare minimum, customer for 20 years, never a smile, I ask if the person knows a place where I can sit to taste the pan bagnat the person tells me no even though the snack room behind her was empty.. well in short we are not asking for the moon but the minimum !
04/08/2024: Fans of Pan Bagnat if you are from Nice you obviously know this address, the recipes are respected, they are delicious!
They also make very good pizzas.

I had a salad (not good for the price, the salad tasted like soap, and there was almost no garnish) while my friend had a poke bawl, the rice was very dry.
I do not recommend!

Two coffees and a 25 cl water €7.60.
Water, 25 cl of very normal water, €3.80 which doesn't seem like a reasonable price even if I eat with my feet in water, let alone there.

08/06/2024: Petite soirée entre amis, nous décidâmes de commander.
Ainsi, nous avons procédé à la commande de nos 5 pizzas pour afin de nous rassasier.
Après un appel plutôt confus, nos mets devaient arriver dans L’HEURE.
Enfin, en théorie….
Nous avons patienter 1h30 pour avoir accès à ce qui allait nous permettre de nous sustenter toute la soirée.
Je ne vous parle de la salive qui se logeait dans nos babines quand à l’attente de notre repas.
Déçu malgré le douceur de ces tartes salées italiennes.
À bientôt… ou pas.

10/09/2024: J'ai connu ce restaurant il y a exactement 50 ans. Dans le fond de la salle, il y avait un trophée de grand Koudou. Cela me faisait rêver et continue à me faire rêver 50 ans après. Je m'adresse à la direction actuelle : De grâce, soyez à la hauteur de votre passé et appréhendez votre présent et votre avenir à la hauteur des rêves de vos clients.
09/07/2024: Awful rude staff, would absolutely not recommend. Went to watch the football and have a drink and the service was absolutely shocking - great location but terrible service and staff
