22/01/2026: A superb experience at Keisuke Matsushima restaurant. We tried the Karaage bar and all the dishes on offer. Everything was delicate, elegant, refined, and simple all at once. I highly recommend this place to any epicurean.

22/01/2026: We tried Keisuke Matsushima's karaage bar, and it was a disastrous experience. The food is excellent, just like at the fine-dining restaurant I used to frequent. However, at this karaage bar, you have to drink alcohol! The chef came to tell us this himself: "This isn't a place to eat," he said in a very curt tone. In that case, sir, don't call your new concept a "karaage bar," just a "bar"! Forcing people to consume alcohol is unacceptable. I was very disappointed by the chef's attitude. I won't be returning to this karaage bar or the fine-dining restaurant, as his behavior was appalling.

28/02/2026: What a delightful surprise this restaurant was, located at the end of Cours Saleya! The portions are very generous and, above all, delicious. All for a reasonable price. Excellent service. I'll definitely be back!

08/03/2026: Amidst the touristy restaurants of the pedestrian zone, this is a gem: a 1930s-style decor, refined seasonal dishes, attentive service, and a chef who takes the time to chat with his customers. A truly delightful experience.

06/03/2026: We had a salmon pizza and a madame croque. Made in house and very good. Definitely will go back. The owner is very nice. It is small and cozy as a covered patio, so protected from rain and wind. Though the only problem were smokers near us but there was enough air circulating that it wasn’t too bad. Definitely recommend for a meal and any small grocery items you may need.

16/02/2026: Netflix series Offline Love had visited this place and I decided to give it a try! I placed a reservation at 7pm but ended up just being seated anyways as they were not that busy. We ended up getting the charcuterie board and calamari which were both fantastic. I really enjoyed the fries and the meats we wonderful and quite filling even though it was an appetizer. We sat inside which has pretty limited seating but provided for a pretty intimate setting, other than the servers cutting the meat for other charcuterie board which provided entertainment in itself. Overall great experience and great food!

14/02/2026: Very disappointed with this experience... Caesar salad with a tasteless dressing, which ruined the whole dish... poor quality beef, tasteless and difficult to chew... wine served without specifying whether it was from a bottle or a box... the only positive points were the fries and mustard... in short, I do not recommend it at all...

03/03/2026: Food was good and authentic considering you are in France. If you like spicy, the chicken tikka masala was spicy enough (Asian standard). If you can’t take too much heat/spice the prawn malai curry is mild. If you can take medium spice, the dal tadka is good. Garlic naan was good and we re-ordered 2 more pieces. Service was good. Maybe because it was a Sunday night.

07/02/2026: I'm writing this review of the restaurant while sitting by the sea. I'm so glad I chose this restaurant as the first stop on my relaxing trip, and I was lucky enough to catch the foie gras menu today! The dishes had incredibly rich flavors. For my appetizer, I ordered foie gras, which was cut into very large pieces. The crispy bread slices and sauce were a delightful surprise, and I couldn't stop eating it. After finishing the appetizer, I was already about 70% full. For my main course, I chose beef cheek, which tasted similar to a beef cheek dish I had in Spain, but with the added garnish of sweet potato and other vegetable slices, which balanced the richness of the beef and mashed potatoes. For dessert, I chose La Diva. I don't usually like vanilla ice cream, but the vanilla flavor in this dessert was just right—not too sweet. Paired with small cherries marinated in spirits (I don't know what kind of spirits it is? Probably cherries), it left me feeling a little lightheaded and happy. The espresso was also better than what I've had in Italy, with a smooth, bitter aroma. If I had to nitpick, it would be that the dishes were a bit too salty for me. The owner and staff were incredibly warm and friendly. If I have the chance to travel to Nice again, I will definitely choose to visit this restaurant again. 💕

11/03/2026: My partner and I absolutely loved the experience. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant. The layout is excellent, and we had no trouble conversing. We chose the signature menu, which was superb. The presentation, the flavors, and the introduction to South African cuisine were all outstanding. We rediscovered some ingredients that are usually overlooked, presented in new forms and textures. The Mozart-shaped pat of butter was surprising at first, but we enjoyed tasting the different flavors offered. The cheese room also has its own unique ambiance. The selection of cheeses was of very high quality and allowed us to discover combinations we would never have considered. Finally, the service was impeccable. The sommelier's recommendations, the touches of humor, and the chef's story shared at every opportunity all contributed to this positive impression. Congratulations to the entire team, and thank you for a wonderful evening. We look forward to returning to your restaurant someday to discover or rediscover new flavors.

08/03/2026: My family and I visited the Jan restaurant once again. All the dishes still have excellent flavor. A luxurious selection of cheeses is presented at the specialty Maria cheese hall. The service meets high professional standards. Visiting with dogs is allowed. For my son, all the dishes were prepared in a vegan version.
