21/08/2026: BEST BOULANGERIE IN NICE!!!!!!😍 We wandered in by chance and didn't want to leave! Excellent quality products, both sweet and savory... the lady was incredibly sweet and friendly! Unfortunately, we were leaving to return to Italy, but from today, it will become one of the reasons we'll be returning to Nice! YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO TRY THE APPLE PASTRY! 🍎 SUBLIME😍😍 Oh, I forgot, unbeatable value for money!! See you next time!

17/09/2026: It's a privilege to be served by Daniela! Seated inside where the atmosphere is romantic with live singing heard over the speakers. Food was esthetic too! We had the seabream cappacio and duck breast to share. Maybe I should have reserved a table at the terrace to enjoy the live singing!

09/09/2026: They kindly packed up the leftovers for me to take home. 🥡 Both the hamburger and fries were very generous in portion size, and the meat was meaty and delicious. It was helpful that there was a Japanese staff member! All the staff were very helpful!

05/09/2026: Worst Pizza in my life. If you have to choose between not eating or going here - just stay hungry. All four of us got stomach pain after, dirty tables, and the thought of was raw in the middle and burned on the outside. Kind of impressed by such a level terrible food.

A real little haven, with a consistently warm and welcoming atmosphere; you immediately feel at home. A small menu that changes regularly, homemade cuisine that's always a delight. From the welcome to the plate, everything is perfect. It's become our go-to spot for a relaxing and delicious evening. A must-visit! 😍

31/08/2026: I can highly recommend Polly and Cie! The food was exceptionally delicious at fair prices, and the service was very friendly and attentive, even providing us with an English explanation of the dishes. Since the area is somewhat quiet, you can comfortably sit and eat outside.

11/09/2026: Despite being right beside the Nice airport this restaurant was a breath of fresh air, the staff (especially Laurent) were all fantastic - very professional, attentive (but not overly so), and the food was magnificent! For once, we were so glad that we arrived earlier than room check-in was ready!

05/09/2026: The meat we ordered was awful; it wasn't the kind of meat you'd expect in a steak, as it was so tough you could chew it endlessly without even chewing it. Plus, it was incredibly fatty. I think the manager should pay more attention to the type of meat they buy. It's clearly cheap meat. Even so, thanks to the staff for their service and the pleasant atmosphere!

26/08/2026: Fantastic experience. If you're looking for an evening aperitivo, this is the perfect place: great drinks, a delicious charcuterie board, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended!

26/09/2026: A wonderful discovery during our visit to Nice! My wife recommended this Italian restaurant, and we weren't disappointed. Everything was excellent, from the appetizer to the main course and dessert. High-quality ingredients, lots of flavor, and a real treat from start to finish. We'll definitely be back! 🇮🇹❤️

13/09/2026: A wonderful experience at 831 Uyghurs! I had the udon-style noodles, stir-fried and very fragrant, as well as some perfectly grilled and flavorful kebabs. The spring rolls were crispy and not too greasy, a great side dish. Generous portions, efficient service even when it was busy. A highly recommended spot to discover Uyghur cuisine in the Sevastopol district.

21/08/2026: I read all of the previous reviews and was exciting on going but was I was surprised at the “ pushy” server . I noticed a table next to us walk out as they felt the vibe and decided to leave after they were told that they did not order “ enough “ . I have to say I ( we) managed to get past the aggressive/ pushy behavior to still enjoy our evening . It is a-shame as the restaurant is perfectly located and has a nice authentic feel plus the food was outstanding. We shared the the shrimp / lobster appetizer which was tasty and beautifully presented . I had the octopus which was to die for and my wife had the lamb which was outstanding . We had the wine that our waiter “ pushed “ which was on the higher end but very good . Again, I want to emphasize if you are expecting a welcoming warm experience then Franchin should not be your choice . If you can look past that and just focus on the food , you will be fine .

19/08/2026: Booked a table for 8pm on my last night in Nice. Sat down, ordered a beer and a Coke (the Coke was to have with my meal), and only then was I told the two dishes I’d come for were sold out (2/3 of the meat options, at the beginning of evening service…). Nothing mentioned when I booked, nothing when I was seated. Since the Coke hadn’t been touched and I’d only ordered it to go with food, I asked if they’d take it off the bill, to be told ‘If you order it, you pay for it.’ Kitchens run out of things - that is fine. But not telling anyone until they’ve sat down and ordered, then arguing over a soft drink isn’t great. This is about principle, not money. Paid up and (very luckily) managed to get a reservation elsewhere.
