15/07/2026: I absolutely do not recommend this place! From the start, it was incredibly hot inside, the service was extremely slow, and everyone was complaining about it. The cashier was completely inefficient and seemed lost. The taco was awful and barely filled. Plus, it was served wrapped in aluminum foil, so when you ate it, it was soggy and disgusting. All this for €10, which I find very expensive considering the experience.

11/08/2026: Authentic Vietnamese restaurant with a truly refined, beautiful, and traditional setting. We went there three times! The staff were incredibly friendly. Since it was very hot, they gave all the ladies a hand fan. There's an air-conditioned dining room inside, so we dined al fresco.

11/08/2026: The food was really tasty! I think it is intended to get a starter, main dish and a dessert. If you do that you will be satisfied. That’s why they probably have a menu for 26 € with 3 dishes. Service was amazing as well. Check it out!

25/07/2026: The menu seems to have changed, not as what is on google (went for duck confit but it isn't available) But had an enjoyable lunch ALSO, the shop is still open after 2. I guess google is wrong about all the info

24/07/2026: It had been 23 years since I'd last set foot in Du Gésu, and I found it just as authentic as I remembered. Everyone I'd recommended it to had been delighted, and today I experienced a blend of indulgence and nostalgia. Another excellent experience, a warm and genuine welcome, authentic regional cuisine, real (!) gnocchi, broad smiles... everything we love!

06/07/2026: We bought three pizzas; two were very generously topped, the third a little less so. The tomato sauce was good, the crust a bit dry (hence the four stars). The value for money is among the best in the neighborhood.

16/07/2026: The true heart of authentic Niçoise cuisine. Off the beaten tourist track, but very close to Nice Ville train station, this small family-run restaurant is certified "Cuisine Nissarde," a label reserved for connoisseurs of this traditional local cuisine. Prices are much lower than in Old Nice, but the food and service are just as good. Everything is homemade. This is the second (or third?) time I've eaten a real Niçoise salad here, the only truly authentic one, meaning without cooked vegetables. They also have daube niçoise, another quintessential dish. Everything is delicious and reasonably priced. The chilled local rosé by the carafe won't break the bank. Reservations are recommended in the evening. It's always packed!

26/06/2026: Authentic (real) French BREAD bakery in Nice, amazing bread and brioche but just realize there are no croissants and no coffee. Just fresh baked bread, I got a baguette and it was still hot from the oven. I bought some jam and cheese from a shop down the street and it was an amazing experience. Best Baguette in Nice! Highly recommended if you want fresh baked bread in Nice.
