20/05/2024: Charming restaurant in the heart of the historic center of Vence, with a pretty, quiet outdoor terrace. Server, very welcoming and smiling. Knowing his menu and products perfectly and will advise you on the wines to pair with them. The chef offers us a small menu, which in my opinion is a sign of quality. Obviously, we found fresh products on our plates and very well cooked by the chef. Goal achieved, our taste buds were crazy Consistent addition given our choices: we took 1 menu, plus 3 à la carte dishes and a good bottle of rosé to complement this dinner. 22/03/2024: Warm and impeccable welcome and service! And we enjoyed ourselves. Home cooking from starter to dessert with good seasonal produce, everything is very fine and very fresh. Finally, very good value for money. Delighted that this address that we previously loved has been taken over by a team of young enthusiasts. We will come back as often as possible :)

04/04/2024: A night won thanks to the France Bleu Azur game: We warmly thank the Cantemerle hotel for its exceptional welcome. Everything was perfect, from the quality of the room, the facilities (SPA, heated indoor pool, jacuzzi, Hammam) to the buffet breakfast. Many thanks, we will come back.

11/05/2024: We visited twice during our recent trip to Vence and enjoyed a fabulous experience. A selection of meats are available to be cooked over the fire before your eyes, along with a good choice of other dishes to choose from. Everything we had over the two meals was superb. Starters and desserts were also a good selection and high quality, both in standard of the cooking and presentation. Service was excellent and friendly, patient with our minimal French, overall good value for money in a superb ancient restaurant setting.

13/06/2024: Location/atmosphere: Large open-air terrace covering direct sunlight with a pleasant arbor, ideally located in the center of Vence next to the Grand Jardin, slightly away from the main street (quiet on the traffic side) Context: Relaxing meal for two one midday in June Service: Two very pleasant waitresses took turns throughout the meal. Carafe of water and bread automatically brought to the table without even having asked (which is becoming rare enough to be notified) Meals/Cooking: We let ourselves be tempted by the suggestions of the day which were 4 in number. - A beef sirloin (a side dish of small fresh potatoes such as new potatoes, pepper sauce on the side) - A very nice piece of Maurician-style tuna (accompaniment with rice and small fresh cooked vegetables) Note 1: The quality of the beef was simply exceptional (tender and tasty, not a single nerve). The same goes for tuna although I am not a fish specialist. Perfect cooking, you can feel the application in the kitchen. Note 2: Fresh, tasty and tasty accompaniment products worked with taste and simplicity to bring out the flavors. Drink: We tested table wine in a 1/2 pitcher (Var region) choosing red. Excellent surprise once again. A stroke of luck or care taken in the selection of the product by the establishment? Given the rest of the performances, I don't think luck comes into play. Dessert: Order a tiramisu. Generous, light, tasty, fresh, delicious, again homemade. Conclusion: 65 euros for two to give you an idea of ​​the prices. For quality fresh products, well prepared, coupled with pleasant service without any false notes. Impossible to find better in the region.

15/08/2023: Excellent restaurant a stone's throw from the other restaurants in the square, the environment is welcoming especially the outdoor terrace. The dishes are well prepared and really very good. The staff was available to prepare a dish upon request for our little girl.

11/01/2024: Everything here is homemade. While having coffee in the morning we chat with the boss who cuts his fries. All the workers, movers, postal workers, everyone meets here. Not to be missed. A new room, located at the back, has just opened to offer more peace and quiet to those who wish it.
