07/12/2024: Very good place for breakfast, a rustic atmosphere and very good pasta. They understand Spanish well.

28/11/2024: Pleasant welcome, attentive waiters, I was delighted when I saw the value for money of the coffees which are more than adequate compared to some places. I will come back with pleasure.

31/07/2024: Food is okay, simple and affordable. Waiters were rather rude and clumsy, which seems to be the norm on this square. They don't know how to interact with customers. It felt awkward. On top of that, there was no toiletpaper.

24/10/2023: Honestly, nothing to say: welcome, quality of the dough and cooking, nice toppings, ... and a 40 cm pizza which is rare. In short, Sami and his sister are real pizza makers and are very welcoming! I don’t understand the negative reviews… we had a blast! See you soon for another pizza evening!

22/10/2023: The chef was adorable, unparalleled kindness, helpful and willing to put his customers at ease, the atmosphere and the service was impeccable. Nevertheless, however, every time the horror called "Pizza" costs 13 €!! Was simply a valid reason to have a stroke a dough as thin as my bank account, a dryness equal to the Gobi desert (very little tomato sauce) we did not understand why the chef did not put any AT ALL salt yet the Mediterranean is nearby. Message for the chef: you are adorable but stop this gustatory massacre, you have the makings of a Bartender more than a Pizzaiolo.

21/08/2024: I went for the cassoulet and really enjoyed. Not the best, yet pretty delicious. Fries on my son’s croque monsieur were a bit rubbery, but the sandwich itself and also the burger were wolfed and enjoyed. Essentially decent french cafe fare. Service was ‘very French’ but pretty quick. This is great for ambience and absorbing a bustling lunchtime buzz! I’d come with my family again. They don’t seem too rushed to let us pay though……(as I write this review!)

20/08/2024: Très belle découverte. Nous avons été très vite pros en charge malgré le monde au restaurant. Les portions sont généreuses et bon rapport qualité prix. Nous reviendrons.

24/08/2024: What a horrible experience... a brunch for €40 per couple to eat tasteless industrial sandwich bread and mozzarella, tiny crushed “avocado” and plastic salmon. We have been scammed, defrauded. A tourist trap, nothing more. I invite you to go your way

19/08/2024: Simple but good and quick cooking. On the other hand, the toilets: dirty... I really don't understand why restaurants cannot offer clean toilets...

10/09/2024: We popped in for lunch and made the mistake of not reading reviews - this place really is best avoided. We have had several meals in Carcassonne and this was the worst by a country mile. We had a set menu and started with a salad - ok, but just salad with no dressing. Our main course was pasta, so soft and bland I could only manage a few mouthfuls. We could see other customers looking very unhappy and saw one customer send his meal back, and he clearly was equally unhappy with his replacement. The server was friendly and was working hard but had too many customers. In the end, we left without the dessert we had paid for as the service was slow and it was clear that the dessert was unlikely to be worth waiting for.

09/09/2024: Decent environment and staff friendly, but the food! Didn't think it could be this bad in France! No flavour at all or dressings or sauces. Plenty of better in the old city, this is one of those aimed at tourists that won't return. Wish I'd read the reviews before going......they are accurate!

17/09/2024: To escape at lunchtime. Greasy food, cold food, endless waiting. Only the setting even deserves a star! Friendly waiters but not the boss.

06/11/2024: DECEIVED: As we passed by, we looked at the menu on the outside blackboard, to be sure what it said in French. They confirmed to me that the bouef was entrecôte. Once seated, they bring us the menu and the boeuf has a supplement of €4. I tell him in a pleasant way that he doesn't put it outside and that he should remember that I had asked about him. The response was "desolée", meaning I'm sorry. I insist that it is not logical. Answer: He takes the letter from us and says that if we want we can leave.

07/01/2025: Sorry to say, but I regret dining here. The food was just terrible. To top it all off the owner was shouting at a customer and I was so put off I just woke up, paid and left. I had to go somewhere else after to remove the bad taste and this time I made sure to consult the reviews! Lesson learned.

01/01/2025: Very scarce food. I ordered a combination plate: duck, potatoes and salad €17 and my wife had a menu €17.50. Everything is very very scarce and if you ask for water they charge you €5, which is shameful. 10 meters away there is another restaurant, better there...

02/12/2024: I bought chocolates by weight from Trésor d'Occitanie, attracted by their promise of artisanal products from a local chocolatier less than 30 km away. However, the experience was disastrous. A large part of the chocolates were really expired, with an altered taste that left no doubt. At €90 per kilo, I expected products of impeccable quality, especially with such emphasis on local know-how. Unfortunately, the reality was far from the promises. A big disappointment for an establishment that aims to be an ambassador for the treasures of our region.

10/11/2024: Poor quality set Biscuits with a chemical taste (raspberry and chocolate in particular). Some were rancid, and no one wanted to finish them Exorbitant price for very very poor quality To flee! 😵😡🤮
