13/09/2026: What a disappointment... Everything looked tempting on the menu, but what a letdown as the courses progressed. As far back as I can remember, I think this is the first restaurant I've ever left hungry. As for the service, a 45-minute wait between the main course and dessert, with immediate payment... What a shame.

01/07/2026: A pleasant experience at La Table de l'Olivier in the Mercure Carcassonne. I was a little disappointed not to have dined on the terrace. It's a hotel restaurant, but one might expect a bit more atmosphere. The chef's cuisine is simple yet delicious. If you're staying at the hotel, don't hesitate; otherwise, there are better options in Carcassonne.

04/06/2026: I absolutely loved my dinner here! The orange-honey glazed chicken breast was a highlight—perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. The melon and ham carpaccio was a great starter, too. I finished my meal with a molten chocolate lava cake that was simply divine. If you’re looking for a great meal in Carcassonne, I highly recommend this place. Truly satisfied! I had the best dinner in Carcassonne! The orange-honey glazed chicken breast was especially exquisite, perfectly cooked and incredibly juicy. The melon and ham carpaccio appetizer was also wonderfully balanced. The molten chocolate lava cake for dessert was rich and a perfect finish. If you’re looking for a great meal in Carcassonne, I highly recommend this place!

22/08/2026: We arrived at 8:20 am for a full lunch for two. The waitress, sitting on the terrace smoking a cigarette, coldly informed us that it wasn't possible to sit on the terrace as the restaurant didn't open until 8:30 am. Thanks for the welcome! So we left... a shame, as it meant wasting several meals that went elsewhere.

17/08/2026: I think the pizzas were frozen and the crepes were in a bag; honestly, I felt ripped off.

24/09/2026: Fast and efficient service, the lady was smiling and very friendly, I recommend her without hesitation!

20/09/2026: Afternoon snack with three children and two adults. A place to avoid! Order online, and the servers were completely indifferent. We got our order in three separate attempts, and only after asking twice! (20-minute wait). The servers were nonexistent on the terrace; they didn't bring us the bill, and we had to go pay ourselves or leave without saying a word—they wouldn't even notice. The muffins arrived piping hot because they had been defrosted.

16/10/2026: We stopped for a drink without eating, but the cocktail and beer were very good.

11/10/2026: Tasteless pancakes (hard pasta, an astronomical amount of melted cheese, no flavor). Keep walking

10/02/2026: One of the oldest breweries at the entrance to the pedestrian street. 5 minutes from the station. 2 minutes from the “Chénier” bus stop. A place where you feel good… Go there and give me some news.

25/01/2026: We stopped for lunch as we were passing through because we had a 4-hour drive ahead of us... my partner ordered cassoulet and I had prawns, and we both got sick... The cassoulet was sour, the sausage had a strange smell, the prawns were overcooked and tasteless—in short, change your kitchen... a disgrace to French gastronomy... incomprehensible and unacceptable, because the point of going to a restaurant is not to get sick. Please check your kitchen.

12/03/2026: Avoid this place at all costs! I was relaxing on the terrace with a friend, having a coffee. Important to remember for later: the café was empty. A friend happened to join us five minutes later to get a coat. This greatly irritated the café's "manager," who expressed her annoyance by throwing ashtrays on the tables around us and even going so far as to throw my friend's bag on the floor. Furthermore, she just kept stewing next to us, making it perfectly clear that we were not welcome in her shabby café. She practically threw us out. We paid for our coffees, and to our surprise, the price displayed was incorrect. Avoid this place; head instead to Café Le Mistral, just 10 meters away.

25/09/2026: A truly exquisite ribeye steak, tender as butter, served with perfectly cooked homemade fries! An incredible Nutella mousse, and the cocktails were just right! A very pleasant and friendly team! A huge thank you for this wonderful evening, don't change a thing! ❤️

12/09/2026: I can't confirm the friendly staff. The espresso was also mediocre.

26/09/2026: The cup (of tea) of my wife was dirty, the cocomilk was expired. Pfff. Staff is friendly

30/09/2026: I found 7.50 excessive for a small portion of mashed potatoes, which is normally a side dish… Knowing that I have health problems, that's why I only asked for a small portion of mashed potatoes…

12/09/2026: Top-notch team. Always smiling, a warm welcome, and serious work. Even close to closing time, they'll make you the pizza you want. I highly recommend them. Go for it!

09/10/2026: This is a really lovely little cafe / bar. It’s been in the same family since 1945 and originally opened by its namesake Felix who was, according to the waiter, a legend in the rugby world. The food is honest and very nice. We had omelette with french fries, wine and beer. The service was swift, the portions were great and the atmosphere was genuine. We were immersed in the locality of Carcassonne where locals come for wine, honest food and conversation. Love it.

07/10/2026: Quick service but dirty glass, goat cheese toasts inedible (day-old bread?? and really bad cheese). Undercooked fries inside... In short, a bad experience for me
