29/03/2026: The food was fantastic! We tried the cassoulet, a very generous portion and excellent quality. The service was also great; they spoke Spanish and the staff came around to ask if everything was alright. I would definitely return.

10/04/2026: Such a shame, because the kids wanted a really good crepe and we're only there for one day. We walked past five or six other places which looked good, but for some reason chose to go here because it was right in front of the castle, so good location. We were served three stone-cold crepes with watery something called chocolate sauce, which tasted nothing like chocolate. The crepes had clearly been cooked before and just refolded, like buying something from Lidl in the freezer compartment. When I complained, the waitress said, "Yeah, you're right, they were pre-cooked." She went off to speak to the manager and came back, and they did nothing about it. It would have taken to give me a free coffee or charge half for the crepes or something, and I wouldn't have felt totally insulted, but I did. I asked them if they could do something about it very politely. The waitress apologised; she was good, but the manager clearly thought it was acceptable to serve stone-cold crepes in a place that claims to be a specialist in crepes. I would thoroughly not recommend going here. The guy needs to learn you can't treat customers like that and get away with it. It's appalling, really appalling.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the service very warm, and we thoroughly enjoyed every dish we tried. This restaurant was a delightful discovery for us, and we will gladly return. 09/07/2025: We only visited the free area because the price was €19. I think it's very expensive compared to other major monuments in Spain. What we saw caught our attention: the castle with battlements, busy streets with tourists, and a lively atmosphere. You can easily visit it in a day, eating inside and taking home a souvenir.

15/02/2026: Tucked away in the old city of Carcassonne. A very delicious meal, albeit a bit small portions (though that might just be me). We had canelloni with foie gras, followed by a super tasty steak with pepper sauce. The desserts were also delicious. We had the friendly service choose our wine, and it was absolutely perfect.

They have a very well-prepared, healthy menu, truly committed to using local produce. We tried the lunchtime set menu for €25, and the value for money is exceptional. The team is super friendly and attentive. Highly recommended if you're looking for real, well-prepared food!

05/04/2026: Terrible service, two completely overwhelmed servers for 20 customers. The Flammekueche had no taste. A 45-minute wait for a chocolate fondant that arrived cold, practically still frozen. In short, a disaster.

21/04/2026: This place is an absolute gem on the culinary map of Carcassonne! ✨ While passing through the city, we were looking for somewhere reliable to eat – I had been checking reviews and photos online, but nothing could have prepared us for what we experienced. We arrived very hungry, so we decided to start with something quick… and already at that moment we knew we had found the perfect spot. The service? Exceptionally warm, friendly, and genuinely attentive – something you don’t come across every day. And my 9-year-old son? He said the crepe he had was the best anyone had ever made for him. That says it all! As for the main courses – they exceeded our expectations even more. We took our time choosing something “safe,” but eventually went for asparagus in a creamy parmesan sauce, grilled sea bass, and pizza… and it turned out to be a perfect choice! The dishes looked so delicious that we couldn’t wait – every bite felt like pure magic for our taste buds. We also tried a wonderful wine that complemented everything beautifully. We’re usually quite demanding when it comes to both taste and presentation, but this place truly has it all – and more. If you ever find yourself in Carcassonne, don’t hesitate for a second. 19/04/2026: We came for lunch today as a family with young children, and the servers were attentive and very pleasant. The dishes and pizzas were excellent, as were the desserts. The terrace is lovely, partially shaded, allowing you to enjoy the outdoors without being in direct sunlight. A truly great place to recommend.

03/01/2026: While passing through, we spotted a somewhat hidden door that intrigued us, and the menu really appealed to us. We bought some souvenirs and asked for a restaurant recommendation, and this was it. We were convinced it was a good choice. It was bitterly cold outside, and the warm welcome alone made us feel right at home. The food was excellent: oysters, onion soup, cassoulet... with generous portions! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and we felt right at home. Thank you to the owner for this wonderful experience. We will definitely return if we're ever in the area again!

22/04/2026: While visiting the city of Carcassonne on Wednesday, April 22nd, we had dinner at this restaurant. The menu was short but the food was homemade and very good... Kudos to the owner and the team in general. I highly recommend this restaurant because there are also many tourist traps in the city. Go without hesitation.
