27/03/2026: Lunch on Friday, March 27, 2026, for three people. The quality of the dishes and desserts was consistently excellent, but the service was subpar. The waiters were overwhelmed due to insufficient staff, and there were some regrettable service errors: deviled eggs were thrown at the customer and onto the table without the waitress taking the time to apologize or clean up; our wine glass was soiled with eggs and replaced at our request with a small amount of wine; and coffees were poured hastily without the plates being cleared. To top it all off, the manager reacted very negatively when informed of our problems. His only explanation: the waiters need to be paid at the end of the month! For a brasserie that charges above-average prices, one would expect better.

22/03/2026: The Boeuf de côte was wonderful, both in taste, presentation, and accompaniments. The crème caramel had a perfectly balanced sugar level. My wife loved it. We received very friendly service from our waiter. This was the best, friendliest, fastest, and most delicious restaurant service we had on our Bordeaux trip.

16/03/2026: We only stayed one night, but the establishment was very pleasant and the staff very friendly. I recommend it.

13/03/2026: For the second time, I spent one night in L'auberge Canaulaise. It's clean, quiet, warm (it was at the beginning of March). I had a nice breakfast as well. The hotel is not far from the Ocean.

14/03/2026: Sat 14/03/26 lunchtime 2 people €64 2 beef cheeks in cider sauce 1 mille-feuille with red berries 1 fig clafoutis 1 bottle of Abatille 1/4 bottle of Médoc Not very busy at lunchtime. It wasn't warm, but the beef cheeks were very comforting, tender, and flavorful. Nice dessert. Friendly welcome and service. We've been before and we'll be back.

10/03/2026: A truly authentic and very welcoming English pub in Bordeaux. They have a selection of craft beers on tap and the pub food is excellent. It's a great place to go with family and children; the atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed. Highly recommended!

24/10/2025: A very good experience today. We came here somewhat by chance and were a little skeptical after seeing Turkish specialties with picky children. But we were pleasantly surprised. The ravioli were very good and filling. The children loved the kefta. The gentleman is very pleasant.

30/09/2025: Excellent restaurant serving Turkish specialties. The welcome is very friendly, and the appetizer buffet is plentiful and delicious.

03/12/2024: Mixed opinion. The place is nicely decorated, the dish was good, but surprised by the portion of the dish alone at 15€ which was smaller than the version in the brunch at 25€ including 2 drinks, a savory dish, a granola and a dessert… Reserving on the restaurant's website is laborious, you have to wait for the restaurant to accept while you choose the available slots. I had to call the restaurant 2 hours later for them to validate my reservation request.

01/12/2024: Super good. We had a great time. We were a large group (and had booked well in advance) we waited to be served (no problem that it took time given our number). After 1h30 there, shortly after collecting the last drinks and dishes, we were asked to leave because our table was reserved afterwards. We hadn't finished eating. Too bad, we could have been warned before.

05/01/2026: Spectacular sunsets overlooking the highest sand dune in Europe. No need to book for sunset drinks. Reservations required for dinner.

01/01/2026: Superb evening. Excellent setting. Excellent dinner. And above all, the service! The waiters were all incredibly attentive. A very classy welcome. Ideal for a wonderful time.
