During our holiday in Lacanau, visiting our children, we had the pleasure of dining at your restaurant several times this week… and what a delight it was each time! Traditional, generous, and delicious cuisine, just the way we like it, with a three-course meal for €17. But beyond the food, it was your kindness, warm welcome, and professionalism that truly touched us. We simply feel at home here. A particularly special memory is the meal on December 23rd, shared with our children and grandchildren when the elf came to the restaurant: a magical moment, the children's eyes sparkled with joy… and ours too! Originally from the North of France, we leave with wonderful memories and a definite desire to return for a future visit. Thank you again for everything, and above all… don't change a thing! 08/12/2025: It was great coming back to the Golden Apple, an old favourite of mine! I think the first time I went there was in 1992. Love the beers (I’m a big fan of La Canaulaise beers!), great vibes, delicious burgers and really friendly staff. I’ll definitely be visiting again soon.

11/11/2025: To start, a super welcome, with smiling servers. We had a crazy evening watching baseball! A very good bar, I recommend it to everyone! P.S.: Don't hesitate to ask for the "Big Chicken" game if you want an even crazier night!

24/11/2025: Good restaurant, very friendly owner, the dishes are well cooked. The only slight downside was that the main course was served lukewarm, which I asked to be reheated, but perhaps that was just a fluke. I'll be back.

18/01/2026: Excellent time there at this famous mussels spot! Mussels were delicious, we all ordered different sauces. Fries were yummy. Only non mussels options are the beef steak or the charcuterie board. Their staff is always friendly and helpful. The manager is even friendlier and make you feel welcome. Couple of wine options, generous pour. Loud environment as you’re within the market, however love this low key ambiance.

04/01/2026: Very disappointed. If you take away the friendly "yay, we're at Les Capucins" vibe, you're left with a waiter who tells you "yeah, the red is good, it's a Côtes du Rhône" when you ask if the Bordeaux is any good, and undercooked mussels with a stingy sauce, cold cream, and cheap, stale bacon bits, even though the menu says you ordered mussels with bacon (oh, and the bacon bits are barely cooked and unpleasant to chew...). In short, okay, we're superficial, we're willing to eat mediocre food as long as we're in a stylish place because we're looking for something symbolic, but there are limits. PS: Oh, and those crooks, when you order a small charcuterie platter, they throw in a slice of bread under the meat to make it look bigger, you know? Like, look how generous the plate is, when in reality there are three slices of cheap rosette sausage and two tiny corniflards. And we can all agree on that, right? ;) PS: And someone needs to tell that little twerp that the most important quality in the dining room isn't smiling at all costs, but empathy, adapting to the customers' emotions, and communicating effectively. Kisses to the cook, he seems like a good guy, sorry Bébou for ordering at 1:30 pm. No sarcasm <3

23/11/2025: Very good and very affordable food. Open even off-season. Family atmosphere. The staff is very friendly.

16/11/2025: Staying in Soulac-sur-Mer over the weekend of November 11th, we found it very difficult to find a restaurant open in the evening, but we stumbled upon La Station 1900 and we weren't disappointed. The waiter was friendly, the meal excellent, and the price was great value. We'll definitely be back, which we did the following evening.

09/07/2025: I found a “lemon” beer that I like at The Blarney Stone pub in Bordeaux! Yes, I was drinking beer in Bordeaux! Haha The server was very nice and thoughtful in his suggestions. This pub is basically across the street from the old bell. So, wafter viewing the bell (and Victor Hugo’s falling car, half a block down the street) stop in here for a pint or two! There is both inside and outside seating.

21/06/2025: My historic pub. Central, friendly waiters, decent food. Interesting happy hour. Beers not given, but same price as elsewhere. Pleasant terrace in summer. And then you won't miss any rugby or even football matches. Giant screen but without sound which allows others to chat. I looooooooove

03/12/2024: Mixed opinion. The place is nicely decorated, the dish was good, but surprised by the portion of the dish alone at 15€ which was smaller than the version in the brunch at 25€ including 2 drinks, a savory dish, a granola and a dessert… Reserving on the restaurant's website is laborious, you have to wait for the restaurant to accept while you choose the available slots. I had to call the restaurant 2 hours later for them to validate my reservation request.

01/12/2024: Super good. We had a great time. We were a large group (and had booked well in advance) we waited to be served (no problem that it took time given our number). After 1h30 there, shortly after collecting the last drinks and dishes, we were asked to leave because our table was reserved afterwards. We hadn't finished eating. Too bad, we could have been warned before.

20/08/2024: I recently had the pleasure of having lunch at Brasserie 1902, and I can only warmly recommend it! As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by staff of exemplary kindness and professionalism, from the waiter to the cook. The atmosphere is very pleasant, with careful decoration which creates a warm and friendly atmosphere. As for the cuisine, it is simply delicious! Each dish is prepared with care, and the flavors are there. We really feel that the chefs put their whole heart into their creations. In summary, Brasserie 1902 is a place where you feel good, where you eat well and where you are treated with attention. I highly recommend this address to anyone who wants to have a good time in good company. You will not be disappointed!

24/10/2025: A very good experience today. We came here somewhat by chance and were a little skeptical after seeing Turkish specialties with picky children. But we were pleasantly surprised. The ravioli were very good and filling. The children loved the kefta. The gentleman is very pleasant.

30/09/2025: Excellent restaurant serving Turkish specialties. The welcome is very friendly, and the appetizer buffet is plentiful and delicious.
