31/08/2026: Probably the best pub in Bordeaux. The burgers and other dishes are prepared with uncommon flair and in generous portions. The menu changes seasonally, with different burgers each week, more tartare in the summer, and pies in the winter. The traditional fish and chips, with minty mushy peas, is served year-round. On weekends, a full English breakfast is offered, and on Sundays during the winter, they serve the sonorro, a magnificently roasted meat. If you think the English aren't known for their cuisine, head straight to Sweeney Todd's; you'll change your mind! A special mention goes to the staff, who are exceptionally friendly!

25/08/2026: I often eat mussels, from Brittany to the Adriatic... HERE I definitely had the best "moules marinières" (mussels in white wine), served with excellent service and the staff in great spirits. A lucky find that I'll definitely visit again next time I'm in Bordeaux.

A divine meal, amuse-bouches, a savory canelé, starters, and main courses so beautiful you almost hesitate to taste them! And canelés from a three-time world champion—simply marvelous. 13/08/2026: I had a great stay here. The hotel is beautiful, and the room was much more spacious than I expected. There was plenty of space to fully open a 29-inch suitcase, which was very convenient. We arrived before check-in time and were able to leave our luggage at the hotel without any issues. Everything was kept safe and nothing went missing. The staff were lovely and helpful. However, there was a small mistake with the tax calculation, which took a little extra time to sort out. Overall, it was still a very pleasant stay.

08/08/2026: We loved our stay at the Hotel Wallace!!! Great location and boutique elevated feel. The rooftop bar was amazing as was the breakfast spread. Raquel, Jacques and Khiera both our stay extra special. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Au revoir!

05/07/2026: The welcome and service were exemplary for a pub. We were very well looked after throughout the evening. The food was a bit greasy.

05/07/2026: We came for a France match and were delighted with the service! Despite the heat, Avi set up fans for us, offered to chill our bottles while we waited, and was incredibly attentive. The only downside was the Paraguayan crowd, who clearly weren't playing the same game! Go and enjoy the tranquility of this pub.

24/03/2026: I highly recommend this restaurant. The staff is incredibly welcoming and attentive. The food is plentiful and beautifully presented. And surprisingly, it's all at a reasonable price. These days, sharing is key... we'll definitely be back. For your information: 2 aperitifs, 2 main courses, 2 coffees (1 of which was a gourmet coffee).

10/08/2026: Probably one of the first pubs in Bordeaux, if not the very first. I knew it from the beginning; it's where I discovered traditional darts and Guinness. Three changes of ownership since Martin. After a period of neglect, darts made a strong comeback. We created the Dartistes Associés there, the first club, then a departmental committee, and finally a league. What remains of it all? I don't know. But great memories and friends.

The food is delicious, generous, and tasty, and the whole team is truly wonderful: welcoming, smiling, and attentive. It's the perfect place to meet up for any occasion, with darts and live sports broadcasts adding to the excellent atmosphere. A must-visit for sharing good times in a relaxed, family-friendly setting. Highly recommended!
