05/07/2026: I had an incredible experience at Restaurant Le Plana! The welcome was warm and the waiter was eager to please! The ambiance is wonderful, the setting is elegant, the cleanliness impeccable, and the value for money is excellent. The only downside was the short wait.

02/07/2026: We 'discovered' Point Rouge on our way to our hotel and decided to have drink. We sat outside and were presented with an incredible wine list and cocktail list by bartender Mattes. He was so kind and patient as we also ordered the Creme Brulee Au Foie Gras. We had such wonderful experience we came back two days later for more wine. When we return to Bordeaux, Point Rouge will be a destination.

The dishes we chose from the €32 set menu were a true delight. We all had a wonderful time enjoying ourselves and relaxing at this restaurant, which we highly recommend.

25/05/2026: The restaurant is expensive, but the quality is there. You get a view of the ocean and the Dune du Pilat as soon as you sit down! Absolutely stunning!

24/05/2026: As a local resident of Arcachon, I'm familiar with the local establishments and therefore feel compelled to share my experience compared to other places I've tried. For the price, the view is undeniably lovely and definitely enhances the experience. However, the menu selection and service leave something to be desired. The wait for our food was quite long, and as for the champagne, it felt almost like we had to serve ourselves. At €100, such a limited menu offering, like three scoops of sorbet, seems a bit meager, especially for an establishment that aims to position itself as a premium restaurant. There are plenty of staff, but the organization is inefficient. This is all the more surprising given that the service is much better downstairs at the hotel, where the portions are far more generous, with a wider selection at the brasserie. Find the mistake… In short: very beautiful view, but the overall experience doesn't quite live up to the price.

20/06/2026: Typical pub food. I came for lunch and the service wasn't good. They seemed unwilling to work, and I think the manager was extremely unpleasant and spoke very rudely to her staff. I think this pub is okay for going out for a beer in the evening, but nothing special.

The food is delicious, generous, and tasty, and the whole team is truly wonderful: welcoming, smiling, and attentive. It's the perfect place to meet up for any occasion, with darts and live sports broadcasts adding to the excellent atmosphere. A must-visit for sharing good times in a relaxed, family-friendly setting. Highly recommended!
