31/08/2026: Probably the best pub in Bordeaux. The burgers and other dishes are prepared with uncommon flair and in generous portions. The menu changes seasonally, with different burgers each week, more tartare in the summer, and pies in the winter. The traditional fish and chips, with minty mushy peas, is served year-round. On weekends, a full English breakfast is offered, and on Sundays during the winter, they serve the sonorro, a magnificently roasted meat. If you think the English aren't known for their cuisine, head straight to Sweeney Todd's; you'll change your mind! A special mention goes to the staff, who are exceptionally friendly!

25/08/2026: I often eat mussels, from Brittany to the Adriatic... HERE I definitely had the best "moules marinières" (mussels in white wine), served with excellent service and the staff in great spirits. A lucky find that I'll definitely visit again next time I'm in Bordeaux.

04/09/2026: A more complete restaurant than the typical ones in the Arcachon Basin. The menu also offers meat dishes, perfectly cooked and in generous portions. The service is quick and efficient. Tapas to share as an appetizer. Very good value for money. Bring mosquito repellent. A great find!

24/05/2026: As a local resident of Arcachon, I'm familiar with the local establishments and therefore feel compelled to share my experience compared to other places I've tried. For the price, the view is undeniably lovely and definitely enhances the experience. However, the menu selection and service leave something to be desired. The wait for our food was quite long, and as for the champagne, it felt almost like we had to serve ourselves. At €100, such a limited menu offering, like three scoops of sorbet, seems a bit meager, especially for an establishment that aims to position itself as a premium restaurant. There are plenty of staff, but the organization is inefficient. This is all the more surprising given that the service is much better downstairs at the hotel, where the portions are far more generous, with a wider selection at the brasserie. Find the mistake… In short: very beautiful view, but the overall experience doesn't quite live up to the price.

04/08/2026: Beware the wrath of the owner if your child has the misfortune to break a glass; you should expect, if this happens, to be left to clean it up and to receive a disdainful and haughty reaction, which is regrettable given that the food is decent.

13/08/2026: I had a great stay here. The hotel is beautiful, and the room was much more spacious than I expected. There was plenty of space to fully open a 29-inch suitcase, which was very convenient. We arrived before check-in time and were able to leave our luggage at the hotel without any issues. Everything was kept safe and nothing went missing. The staff were lovely and helpful. However, there was a small mistake with the tax calculation, which took a little extra time to sort out. Overall, it was still a very pleasant stay.

08/08/2026: We loved our stay at the Hotel Wallace!!! Great location and boutique elevated feel. The rooftop bar was amazing as was the breakfast spread. Raquel, Jacques and Khiera both our stay extra special. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Au revoir!

05/07/2026: We came for a France match and were delighted with the service! Despite the heat, Avi set up fans for us, offered to chill our bottles while we waited, and was incredibly attentive. The only downside was the Paraguayan crowd, who clearly weren't playing the same game! Go and enjoy the tranquility of this pub.

What's particularly noteworthy is the focus on flavorful dishes without overdoing it, and the use of fresh, high-quality ingredients. A reliable choice.
