11/07/2026: Exceptional setting on the upper terrace, very competent and friendly waiters and waitresses despite the crowd. The savory crepes and ice cream sundaes were delicious: a wonderful family outing to celebrate our daughter's graduation. We will definitely be back.

29/07/2026: The terrace had a lovely view, however, in the middle of a heatwave we wanted to cool off and find some shade, but we couldn't get a shady spot and ordered three Cokes which arrived lukewarm. Not great for cooling down.
28/07/2026: We came to the bar for a drink. Our first disappointment: the amount of white martini served was very small considering the price.
We then took our children to the restroom and discovered a fecal object in the toilet, surrounded by about fifteen flies. It was truly disgusting and gave a very poor impression of the establishment's hygiene.
We had planned to have dinner there, but we overheard the waitress informing the next table that many dishes were no longer available, including four or five items on the menu. So we decided to leave.
In the end, this first experience was very disappointing and unfortunately doesn't make us want to return.

10/07/2026: Overall, the meal was perfect. The main course and dessert were truly outstanding. However, I found the starter a little lacking in finesse and seasoning. It was a heatwave, and the dining room was very hot... not exactly pleasant for eating.
The servers were friendly, however, the service was rather disorganized for a restaurant of this caliber: children were served after the adults, and there was no bread...

And that's a real shame because we've been several times before and your food is excellent.
- You can't rush your customers, especially when there are only four tables occupied in the entire restaurant.
- You can't serve us a bowl of piping hot accras and then ask me about my allergies when I have a burning piece of accra in my mouth. You certainly can't force me to answer you by insisting when you see that my mouth is full.
- You can't ask the man sitting at the table opposite to hurry up and finish his aperitif because you arrive too early with a bottle in hand for the next course. He had no choice but to apologize for making you wait and swallow...
- You can't just put a plate of tuiles on the table while my husband has a spoon in his mouth, right in the middle of dessert, and insist that it's for the END of the meal.
- We weren't welcome. Throughout the meal, you must have made about ten such interruptions to our table and all the others.
Were you in a hurry? Did you want to watch the game or attend a birthday party?
We were in a hurry to leave, that's for sure!
The waitresses were in a hurry and pushy. The gentlemen were more relaxed.
It was shocking.

18/12/2025: A little restaurant you stumble upon, but well worth the detour! Warm welcome, delicious vegetarian cuisine with surprising flavors. It deserves to be much better known and more crowded. Go for it!

29/05/2026: Our experience at La Mare aux Oiseaux was mixed.
The welcome was good, and we were seated on the terrace, which, admittedly, has a beautiful setting.
However, seven times throughout lunch, we were defecated by bird droppings that had settled directly above our table (including one dropping that fell into a glass of water).
While these inconveniences were not the fault of the establishment, no compensation or solution (such as changing tables or removing the birds) was offered, despite our repeated complaints. This spoiled our meal, as we were constantly worried about another dropping.
We weren't even offered complimentary coffee to ease our dissatisfaction. We didn't find this to be what one would expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant.
As for the food, the dishes were well-prepared, without any mistakes, but also without any surprises. The food and wine pairing surprised us and introduced us to new flavors.
The service was very attentive (numerous servers) and welcoming, although it felt a bit like a rehearsed, mechanical routine.
The real highlight was the discovery of the food and wine pairing, which delighted and surprised us.
27/05/2026: A magical interlude. Magnificent setting. Very attentive and friendly staff. Extraordinary dinner. Time seems to stand still. Everything is perfect.

27/07/2026: Nice bar, it's a shame they refuse to serve hot drinks after 6pm to encourage alcohol consumption (apparently Irish Coffee is not a hot drink according to them since my partner was able to be served).
25/07/2026: This is my second visit to this bar.
On my first visit, I received a very warm welcome. The service was friendly and the staff very welcoming.
However, on my second visit, I encountered someone who served me in a very unpleasant manner. She placed the glasses down without any consideration, which left a very bad impression. I don't know if this attitude was related to the color of my skin; I'm not certain, but that's the feeling I got.
Despite this negative experience, I still recommend this establishment, as it's a friendly place with a good atmosphere and a lively crowd.
