27/01/2026: I highly recommend this restaurant where the food is homemade, the ingredients are fresh, and the service is very pleasant. It's comfortable and impeccably clean. The staff is lovely. Plus, parking is very easy.

06/04/2026: There was a bit of a wait for service, but it was a public holiday.
However, the dishes arrived lukewarm, which was a shame because they were excellent!
For a dish served with spaghetti, it would have been nice to have a soup spoon among the cutlery.
Furthermore, the beer selection didn't include any amber ales, which would pair perfectly with a Welsh rarebit...
The bill was a bit above average at €43 per person for just an aperitif, a main course, and a coffee... A simple "Goodbye" upon leaving would have been appreciated.
05/04/2026: There's a wide selection on the menu, the food is good, and the portions are generous, which is the main thing. The prices are reasonable and average for this type of establishment. The decor is very nice.
It's large, so it can get quite noisy if there's a group nearby. And the service is just average.

14/01/2026: A fantastic place to eat in Lille. The food is excellent, the steak with eggs is delicious and high quality. Be sure to save room for dessert: their walnut tart is incredible! A real treat in a very pleasant brasserie atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

28/03/2026: The service was very good, however, a so-called Italian restaurant serving "pasta carbonara" which is actually just pasta with cream and bacon (French carbonara style) is mediocre in my opinion, you should think about reviewing the names of your dishes on the menu.

24/01/2026: We had a wonderful evening at the tavern. The Friday menu with drinks included is fantastic! The four courses to choose from were delicious.
There were eight of us, and everyone found something they loved. The friendly service is always impeccable! As a bonus, we got a tour of the second dining room and the garden—we can't wait for warmer weather!
Whether you're at the front or the back, the restaurant is very welcoming.

A coldness in the restaurant eating while cold is really not great when you realize that the customers are eating with their coats on I don't think it's normal, a foie gras so cold that it breaks into pieces, a cold meat and another rare instead of well done.
No atmosphere because no background music to hear conversations or noise from customers talking 😞
Solving the problems would, I think, be good to do quickly when we see that on a Saturday evening there are not many customers, something must be not up to standard.

Lots of choices and good service.
Good value for money. They have new items like poutine and new burgers that look tempting.
The service is fast and efficient, and the owner is attentive. We'll be back as a family because everyone enjoyed their meal.
28/02/2026: Edit: We went back after a phone call with the owner. It was really nice of him to call us back to discuss things; he was very receptive and understanding, which was much appreciated. We weren't necessarily asking for a discount, so thank you so much to Peplum.
Regarding our last visit, we're definitely seeing a significant improvement. The food was good and the waitresses were friendly. In fact, after talking with them about our last experience, it was clearly just an "off day." It happens, and it's good to acknowledge that.

A very mixed experience…
Honestly, the poutine was really good, no complaints there. However, the undercooked churros weren't great. And then, my girlfriend ordered a vegetarian dish, and something was missing. These things happen. But we weren't warned, we were served without a word. Our friend ordered something, and again, it was sold out, and we were told, "I don't know why it's still on the menu." And I could hear other tables around us saying that a whole bunch of things were missing.
But the worst part was when it came time to pay… We clearly felt like we were bothering the cashier. Slouching, leaning on her elbow, as welcoming as a prison guard. We explained about the undercooked churros and the missing veggie bacon, and she simply said, "I'm going to yell at the cook," as if to say, "Okay, great, I don't care." No gesture, nothing. If we hadn't pointed it out just to be picky and nitpick, we really would have appreciated at least a small gesture. It's a real shame because otherwise, the food was good.

30/03/2026: A wonderful experience for salmon lovers. The setting is warm and intimate enough for a romantic dinner. We appreciated the friendly staff, who explained the contents of our Nordic platter in detail. The portion size might not be enough for those with a larger appetite, but it was perfect for us.
