13/02/2026: We booked by phone that morning, but even on the phone, the owner wasn't very welcoming. The reception was lukewarm at best, and after two or three unpleasant remarks, we decided to leave this small establishment. I suppose all the positive reviews correspond to the days when the owner is friendly!

11/07/2026: This is our second visit. The welcome was fantastic, the service impeccable! The food was perfect, with plenty of little things to share or enjoy on your own. The setting under the trees is a real change of scenery… thank you, we'll be back. And we can't wait to try it in winter too!

10/07/2026: A wonderful time, whether as a couple or with friends. The menu is small and changes frequently, but features quality products. The service is top-notch, with genuine kindness; you feel right at home. We'll gladly return.

11/08/2026: Really nice terrace, with soft background music, very good and friendly service, we appreciated the menu with an original starter of savory floating island, however we found the value for money a bit expensive, especially the coffee at 3 euros!

Fantastic, funny and delightful service (thank you for putting up with our poor french!) and seriously, seriously good food (the lavender/'provence' ice cream was the best ice cream I think I've ever tasted). 19/08/2026: While on holiday with family not far from this establishment, which we discovered at lunchtime today, we enjoyed three different dishes from the menu for four people. It was a wonderful discovery: a very warm welcome, homemade cuisine using quality ingredients, generous portions, and practically right on the water. A lovely setting for this beach bar. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend it. Long live your establishment! Keep up the good work and ensure this iconic place remains so special to you.

16/08/2026: I wanted to correct the comment posted earlier by "antonella F". I've been coming to Les Pins Parasols with my family since I was little, summer and winter, and I can attest that the food is homemade from start to finish and passed down through generations. The stuffed mussels are excellent, with a 100% southern Provençal stuffing. The octopus stew simmers for hours and is made fresh every morning. The meats are exceptional and cut like butter, and the prawns are cooked on the barbecue. We plan to come back for a very long time, whether for family meals or birthdays. In conclusion, keep up the good work, don't change a thing, and absolutely ignore the naysayers and those nasty people who know nothing about Provençal culture and cuisine.

29/07/2026: Absolutely outrageous! I just arrived in France after a long stay abroad. What has become of our beautiful country? I urgently needed to furnish my apartment, so I opted for Ikea. I ended up with a bill for over €3,000. 1) The Tasker who was supposed to assemble a wardrobe cancelled two days before. I went to the Tasker and Ikea websites, and each time I encountered an AI. When I asked, "Can you reschedule the appointment?", the AI ​​invariably replied, "I didn't understand the question," and this happened three times. Finally, I went to the Ikea Toulon customer service department, which, after much back and forth, found me a Tasker and an appointment (I'm praying he actually shows up). 2) The bulk of the furniture was supposed to be delivered today, July 28th, between 7 a.m. and noon. Seeing no progress, I waited until 1 p.m. to call the delivery company, JP Home. Their automated system advised me to contact Ikea's customer service at 09. I got another automated system that told me it would connect me with an advisor. The wait time was 30 minutes!!! I had already called this number before, with the same wait time. This is a recurring problem. Isn't this a bit of a joke? So I'll have to camp out for a few more days... I'm going to go to the Ikea Toulon customer service department again, hoping to find a solution. Since I'm making so many trips back and forth, I'm going to take the opportunity to try and get hired at Ikea, so I can be there to sort out my problems with their customer service. The perverse effects of these situations are that you take time off work (at the risk of being fired if you persist), or you enlist the help of friends (who end up wasting their time because of you), or you cancel or postpone other appointments (if it's with a doctor or specialist, you're looking at several months of waiting) due to the notorious incompetence of this AI-run system, a deus ex machina of staff reduction. Either Ikea re-establishes a proper customer service call center or hires reliable service providers. All of this will eventually tire customers, who will turn to other, more efficient online retailers. The monopoly situation won't last forever. So let things deteriorate... The rest... after a 42-minute wait on the 09 number, I finally got through to an advisor who resolved the issue. I asked him for a goodwill gesture, which he immediately did by giving me a credit note for half the delivery cost. I thought, great! Everything's fine! But then disaster struck! It was too good to be true. The sales associate assured me I would receive my delivery Friday afternoon. So I made arrangements for Friday... At 3 p.m. today, I received a message from IKEA saying that it would actually be... Saturday!!!! I burst out laughing; the whole story is Kafkaesque. IKEA, do you also deliver flat-pack items? Noted.

28/07/2026: Visited the Ikea store in Toulon today. A long waiting list, unfortunately, empty shelves, and unconcerned salespeople. I know it's July, vacation time, but no, no, no, I completely disagree. This is a serious management issue. We just came from a smaller Ikea (in Dijon). A valuable lesson for your store: we cross the street and find our own lighting. I'll never go back to Ikea Toulon.

30/07/2026: Avoid at all costs... the buckwheat crepes weren't salty, and the sweet crepes were just so-so. The mussel pots were small. Our waitress was unpleasant. It's also a haven for pigeons. And there's only one toilet with a queue in the middle of the restaurant... the only positive point is the location. I do not recommend it.

21/07/2026: I ordered a sandwich from them a week ago, I got diarrhea, and today I thought, I'll give them another chance, so I went to order a mixed plate. The person taking orders didn't inform me that there was no more wheat in the plate and took the initiative to add fries, lots of fries, even though I ordered the plate for the contents and not for the fries. This isn't right; he should have informed me. I wouldn't have ordered this plate, which cost 14 euros. There was nothing on the plate except a lot of fries and a little salad fighting with 2 or 3 pieces of grilled chicken.

17/07/2026: Great snack bar in Sainte-Maxime! The burger was amazing, the two-meat sandwich was fantastic, the homemade fries were delicious, and the little Bueno tiramisu for dessert was super tasty!! Excellent value for money, I highly recommend it!

08/08/2026: If you enjoy waiting over an hour for your food only to have it thrown at you on the counter as you're leaving, with threats if you refuse to pay, I highly recommend La Palmeraie (that's sarcasm). Appalling service and mediocre food served in small portions for an exorbitant price. Almost €30 for a Poké Ball with practically nothing in it. My advice: avoid this place!

02/08/2026: The food was very good, but the wait was endless! We had reserved a table for 9:30 pm, and when we arrived, we had to wait 15 minutes for a table (which was fine). Then we had to wait 45 minutes for our aperitifs! And another 30 minutes for the hot main course! That's a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes before we were served!!! The main course was very good, but the desserts were not very good at all...

01/08/2026: We ordered oysters and prawns. The oysters were excellent, but the prawns were a joke—as small as the ones you get at Rewe in Germany. The mayonnaise à la maison only arrived after we asked for it and didn't look homemade at all. The prawns were just slapped onto the tray next to the oysters, straight from Intermarché. That's not cooking, and it's not even a cold dish. It's a complete rip-off. Then they tried to rip us off too and charged us €7.50 more than what was on the menu. After we paid, the receipt blew away in the wind (what a coincidence 😉), but I caught it, and we were able to check the bill. So we went straight to the waitress and demanded a refund, and we got it.
