11/03/2026: This restaurant was recommended to us, and it didn't disappoint. The cassoulet was spectacular, and the chocolate fondant was perfect. Excellent value for money. It's rare to eat badly in France. El Pais is extraordinary. The owner's service was phenomenal, and the waiter was so charming you could buy him an apartment. A real gem. We would definitely return. Highly recommended.

24/02/2026: A delightful surprise in the streets of Narbonne. A restaurant run single-handedly by the chef and open until late afternoon. The meal was excellent and bursting with flavor! Everything is homemade and seasonal. A real treat.

20/09/2025: A last-minute dinner reservation and a wonderful evening. It all begins with a sincere and honest welcome, unlike the tourist touts on the seaside. A rich, varied menu that piques the taste buds' curiosity. A fresh Muscat, a sangria with fruits that have been marinating for a while (not a sangria blessed with water and its minute fruits), a foie gras that melts like butter, perfectly seasoned and generously served (thank you). A beautiful slow-cooked lamb shank, meltingly tender, that falls off the skin on its own (superb). A pork cheek x4 with licorice sauce (a wonderful discovery, yum, thank you). Delicious little vegetables. A juicy pineapple caramelized just then and its lemon ball included in the dessert, a delight. And in addition to the very good fresh bread, the plas follow one after the other. In short, a great address that embodies the values ​​of the Ovalie: generosity, sharing, imagination, and rigor in its execution. Beachfront restaurants are severely relegated to the sidelines. Le XV is a magnificent attempt that transforms itself between the bars of generosity both for the welcome and the quality of the products.

Excellent meal, with well-prepared homemade dishes and elegant presentation, all served in a superb dining room (a converted former wine cellar). Generous and varied breakfast.

16/12/2025: A peaceful farmhouse, terrace overlooking the Bugarach mountain. The farmyard animals frolic in the grass, putting on a show. The set menu is €29, and we choose from several courses. A buffet of well-prepared charcuterie and crudités. House dish (boles de picoulat). Dessert (profiteroles). Aperitif with Maury wine, followed by a meal with white wine. Three hours of dining and relaxation. It's a bit warm on the terrace; the curtains aren't up yet for the season. The chef makes a special effort with the presentation, adding small decorative touches and flavor combinations that are worth noting. You can sense his organization in his desire to serve all the guests in roughly the same order. Main courses for everyone, then desserts for everyone. There are only two of them, so they need to be methodical. The furniture and layout could use a touch of modernization (budget constraints, of course), but it's lush and full of flowers. We had a wonderful time during our two-wheeled tour of Bugarach and Rennes-le-Château. Limiting seating to around 20 people to prioritize quality over quantity, reservations are recommended. For groups, the farm indicated they can accommodate larger groups with prior booking, similar to classic car club outings. Parking is available on the property. I will definitely return. Thank you to this young couple.

12/11/2025: Excellent. We had lunch as a group and thoroughly enjoyed it. The €29 set menu is truly delicious and generous. The starter buffet, cassoulet, and profiteroles were all very plentiful and flavorful. I highly recommend it. The dining room is lovely, and the terrace is also very pleasant. They don't accept cards.
