25/06/2026: The sandwich was super delicious, yum yum! My mom and I were served by a wonderful woman, Maud, pretty and smiling, it was absolutely fantastic!

28/09/2026: Delicious pastries and coffee! The inside area can get a bit to busy when they have a lot of customers but when it's calmer it's very pleasant and they have outdoor seating as well

28/09/2026: Unwelcoming attitude from the staff when I arrived. This was then followed by my order disappearing and other customers who arrived after me walking out with their orders. When I checked I was again met with the same attitude and when the order finally arrived there was no apology and it seemed like I was inconveniencing the staff. Not sure if it was because I was speaking English, but it is an incredibly strange way to run a business if you want to be successful. The only saving grace is that the coffee when it finally arrived was quite nice, although not worth €5. Plenty of other cheaper and more friendly options around.

30/08/2026: A wonderful discovery; I'd often heard about it, and the opportunity arose to form my own opinion. I found many hallmarks of a fine dining establishment: a sommelier-waitress, a simple yet refined decor, an amuse-bouche, a mini dessert with coffee, and elegant plating, although I'm not a fan of the little flowers on the mash. My choices lived up to my expectations. The menu is limited: 3 starters + 1 suggestion (my choice was scallops on asparagus tips), 1 fish dish, 3 meat dishes including kidneys + 1 suggestion (my choice was the beef). Apparently, the daily special is just as good.

04/09/2026: A superb spot for a savory breakfast without too much fuss! The team is fantastic, and the service is excellent too! The barista takes the time to make the drinks with care! The avocado toast with extra salmon was delicious. The portions are generous and flavorful! The price is more than reasonable: €18 for the set menu (toast with extra salmon + cold drink + hot drink)! The place is also calm and friendly, perfect for a break! Thank you! ✨

13/07/2026: What a great find . We had traveled for 9 hours on our motorbikes , dealing rather tired ! I asked a local lady where a hotel was . She sent us here! The lady on reception was really kind and accomodating . The hotel was perfect , nice rooms and beautifully kept . The restaurant was closed but it was ok , we were guided to a fantastic local restaurant 3 mins away . Breakfast was perfect . We left refreshed thank you so much

17/05/2026: A very pleasant 4-night stay. The (premium) room was spacious and welcoming, with a very comfortable bathroom and thoughtful overall decor. Excellent bedding. Breakfasts were perfect, with a wide selection of products (several different kinds of bread, for example), and a well-stocked buffet. You feel at ease and comfortable in this place where everything is done to ensure a pleasant stay. The owner and staff are welcoming and friendly. Very well located, especially for visiting Strasbourg.

23/08/2026: Saturday, August 15th, cold buffet for 70 people. Perfect. Original, varied, generous portions, very high quality of food, a very special mention for the cheese and dessert (ice cream) 😍😍 When professionalism is combined with kindness, success is complete. Thank you to the whole team who work behind the scenes to make our day so enjoyable.

21/09/2026: It's been almost a year since I last went to McDonald's. Given the slow service and the drive-thru, it's a real "fast food" place. I came back today because I had enough points for a meal, and... "national glitch"! I can't use my points, so I have to pay for my meal. Plus, I'm paying for a meal that won't count towards my loyalty card benefits. And on top of that, it's cold. Seriously, goodbye McDonald's. In France, you're a complete failure. You're neither a restaurant nor a fast food place.

21/09/2026: There's something about this establishment's online reputation that deserves serious attention. For the past nine days, a string of overwhelmingly positive reviews has appeared. And not just a few "very good," "friendly staff," or "I recommend it." We're talking about particularly long, well-structured, detailed, and surprisingly promotional testimonials, with recurring themes: impeccable cleanliness, an exceptional team despite the rush, a family atmosphere, an ever-present and wonderful owner with children, and an exceptionally varied menu. Taken individually, each of these reviews could perfectly well be genuine. But when you look at them together, the question becomes legitimate: why did this series of reviews suddenly appear, almost simultaneously, with such similar themes and a similar way of presenting the establishment? I took the time to look at the profiles in question. Some are old and have a substantial history on Google. This makes it impossible to say that these accounts were recently created for this purpose. But this doesn't answer another question at all: could existing accounts have been solicited, encouraged, or used as part of an organized campaign to artificially improve the establishment's image? It's this possibility that bothers me. Because a Google review isn't an advertisement. It's supposed to represent a consumer's experience. Someone consulting these reviews to choose a restaurant should be able to assume they're reading genuine testimonials, not a disguised marketing campaign. And if this reputation were artificially enhanced, the consequences wouldn't only affect consumers. It would also give a potentially misleading image of the workplace. Prospective employees can also consult reviews before applying. Presenting an establishment as a model of friendliness, professionalism, and a family atmosphere when the reality is different would amount to artificially embellishing not only the customer experience but also the image of working conditions. It's precisely for this reason that I find this situation particularly serious. I don't criticize a restaurant for having good reviews. Nor do I criticize customers for being genuinely satisfied. What I reject is the idea that a business might try to fabricate a reputation that doesn't reflect the reality experienced there. And if everything is perfectly natural, all the better. In that case, it should be very easy to explain this unusual concentration of reviews, their striking similarity in themes, and this succession of testimonials that sometimes give the impression of reading a promotional campaign rather than spontaneous consumer experiences. Because ultimately, the question is extremely simple: Why artificially create the impression that everything is exceptional if the reality is enough to convince customers? An establishment that truly does good work doesn't need to manufacture its image. It can let its customers speak freely, with their praise as well as their criticisms. Consumers deserve to know what they are actually buying. Employees deserve to have their workplace represented honestly. And Google reviews deserve to remain reviews, not become a disguised advertising platform. If these reviews are spontaneous, so be it. If there's an organized process behind them, then consumers have a right to know. Trust is earned, not manufactured.

27/08/2026: We came on Sunday evening. The welcome was perfect, the service excellent and very fast. The tarte flambée was delicious. As other reviews have mentioned, the owner/chef's thoughtful touch of coming to the dining room to ask if everything was alright was always appreciated. We will be back very soon.
