27/06/2026: An excellent spot in Haguenau where you can enjoy some refreshing coolness, especially during this heatwave. The bartender concocts superb cocktails and is happy to advise you, particularly on the signature creations. For a starter, try a Bloody Mary, uniquely flavored with an excellent truffle aroma from Maison Sébalcé, a supplier to restaurants since 1966. Then, savor a platter of sausages and cheeses, including a summer truffle gouda—simply divine. Finish your evening with a lemon tart cocktail, another original creation. In short, head to Les Oubliettes, the home of cocktails forever.

18/06/2026: Second visit to Bagelstein this Saturday, July 26th, and still that strange feeling… like I'd landed in a 90s American sitcom, somewhere between Central Perk and a vintage New York deli. The decor is a gem of nostalgia: walls covered in quirky photos, humorous signs, newspaper clippings, and retro-style air conditioning that makes you feel like it's about to crack a joke or offer you an old-fashioned coffee. It's like traveling back in time without leaving Strasbourg. The staff is smiling and welcoming. In short, not robots, which is refreshing. There were three of us, and we ordered three meal deals with drinks and sides. The bagels offer a wide selection of breads (whole wheat, plain, onion & sweet pepper, sesame toast… and probably others I missed while drooling over the counter). You can create your own bagel like an inspired artist… or choose a pre-made recipe like a tired tourist. On the dessert and drink front, there's cheesecake, muffins, cakes, cookies… plenty to choose from, and a good selection of drinks too (if you're looking for something other than depressing plain water). They say it's all homemade, and it certainly tastes good, so we're inclined to believe them. Special mention goes to the overall atmosphere, which is really well done and makes you want to linger a bit (and take pictures of everything). I haven't tried their mac & cheese yet, but it's on my top to-do list, right after "pay my taxes" and "become a better person." In short, a great place to eat quickly, well, and with a smile… all while getting a little taste of America (without the guns or the dollar bills).

16/07/2026: We went to the drive-thru, ordered two meals, but only one was delivered. Of course, we only realized this once we arrived in Strasbourg city center, 20 minutes later... Disappointed! 🫤

11/05/2026: So, a friend from the area took me there for a good burger, and frankly, it was incredible (I had the hot burger). The flavors were spot on, it was very generously topped, the homemade fries were amazing, as were the homemade sauces, and the owner was super welcoming and friendly. Go there without hesitation, it's an amazing place! 🤩🤯 Thanks again, Chef! 🧑‍🍳

19/07/2026: The food was decent and the prices reasonable, but the waiter was awful, constantly criticizing customers behind our backs because there were seven of us, making it seem like he didn't want to run his restaurant. I don't recommend it.

09/07/2026: Hello, we had dinner at Eden last night (about 20 people). The carpaccio was excellent 👌, some pizzas lacked toppings and had too much dough, and the cordon bleu was far too dry and overcooked. The sauce wasn't enough to soften it. The burgers were 👍. The young waitress was awful. Every request was too much for her... we ended up not ordering anymore because she was truly unbearable. While we were still seated, she was throwing down her rags to clean the tables, saying, "Well, we have no choice, we won't be having any more coffee," and she threw us out. In short, a very bad experience!

19/07/2026: Everything we bought was delicious, the price is good for the quality of the food, but I'm giving it one star because of the saleswoman's attitude, very unpleasant, rushing us. The normal thing to do when you go into a place where you're not a regular customer is to look at the products they have for sale. We bought 5 things and it didn't take any time at all.

10/05/2026: Nice wines. Reasonable prices. Very helpful staff. Just there to buy wines. Noisy clientele 'tasting' wines... Would happily go again for quality, service and prices.

31/05/2026: Very disappointed. We ordered a cucumber-based drink, but they were out of cucumber. Instead of a slice of cucumber, they used cucumber syrup. The waitress herself told us it wasn't very good, and we mentioned it at the end. I didn't even touch the glass because it really wasn't very tasty, but they still charged us €6.50. What a shame. Thankfully, one waitress was friendly, because her colleague didn't even greet me. It was to him that I said I hadn't touched my drink, and he didn't apologize or offer a solution. As a business owner myself, I found this very disappointing.

19/07/2026: One of the worst McDonald's in the region; not a single order goes by without something being missing, whether it's sauces, toys, lovers, or even burgers...

14/07/2026: Not very friendly at all, lots of mistakes in orders, really unpleasant staff. I got yelled at because they called the number 4214, which was 14 on my receipt, and I got yelled at because when you call 4214, it's your number, you come. Well, start by calling the numbers on the receipts so people actually come. If mine is 14, I'm not going to come if you call 4214. Then I present my potatoes, which are supposed to be a "maxi best of" with three measly things in them. Really unpleasant here.
