26/01/2025: Restaurant with an original concept. The meat is very good, the vegetables, cheeses and desserts too, all in an all-you-can-eat buffet. The staff is very friendly. Great discovery.

25/01/2026: A fantastic evening at Chaudron Magik! From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome immediately set the mood. A friendly cabaret, a magical atmosphere, talented artists, and a high-energy show. It was a feast for the eyes from beginning to end! Bravo to the whole team for this timeless experience; we left with stars in our eyes ⭐️ I highly recommend it!

06/11/2025: First time here, passing through Viré. The restaurant is in an unlikely location, somewhat out of town and houses in the same structure as a bowling alley (thankfully not open during lunch hours). However, don't let that dismay you. The restaurant is pleasantly decorated, the staff are excellent and the food - an entrée and a plat for 14€50 - provided excellent sustenance and value for money. I wish France had more places like this. The place was almost completely full with customers who seemed to be local and regulars. That's usually a good pointer.

16/02/2026: Dinner for Valentine's Day, we were seated promptly. The atmosphere was warm and elegant. The cuisine was certainly refined, but far too minimalist. We left still hungry. What a shame! The dishes were sorely lacking in garnish, and that chocolate fondant, all alone on its plate without any embellishment whatsoever... what a disappointment! A €70 menu per person, I remind you. And then there was the wait of over 30 minutes between the starter and the main course... A pleasant evening nonetheless, but a somewhat disappointing one.

14/02/2026: Beautiful decor, calm atmosphere. The dishes are refined but nothing special. The cod was full of bones (at that price, a better cut could have been served). We left without having received our dessert, which we waited 40 minutes for... despite a waiter coming by to ask if we wanted anything else to drink... we have no desire to return.

17/06/2025: Very good chicken with a super good jus. Possibility to have fries on the side. Or for a change, a regular potato gratin or with Camembert. I was able to be served right away and without waiting around 12:40 p.m., after all, it's not summer ;) In short, I recommend it.

09/02/2026: We came for a wedding and have some specific customs: the bridesmaids and groomsmen must be able to dress together. We therefore needed a room that was large, beautiful, and suitable, and we had a lot of trouble finding the perfect place. At Manoir Hastings, we received an exceptional welcome. The rooms are magnificent, spacious, and spotlessly clean. Both inside and out, everything was perfect to make our stay unforgettable. The gentleman and young lady who looked after us were incredibly kind, helpful, and, above all, truly attentive to our needs and traditions. Their thoughtfulness genuinely touched us. We wholeheartedly recommend Manoir Hastings for such precious events as a wedding. A huge thank you for your warm welcome and kindness.

08/06/2025: I wish I could give more than a 5. This restaurant cooks over a fire in the fireplace, the surroundings is just what you picture France to be. The food was amazing, the service was excellent, and the restaurant is cozy with local product for sale

28/11/2025: Fantastic experience at the restaurant. The team was amazing, warm, and had a great sense of humor, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The dishes were really delicious, flavorful, and generous—you leave feeling happy and satisfied! A place you'll definitely want to return to. I highly recommend it and will gladly come back.

15/10/2025: Lunch menu was very good value for money, with very friendly servers and homemade bread. The langoustine bisque and pasta risotto were excellent. Just one point for improvement: I understand that you have to cover your costs, but the brioche lacked caramel and was a little dry. Despite this, the restaurant is worth the detour.

31/01/2026: I came to treat my teenager and was pleasantly surprised. The chicken tenders are really good, the fries are a little lacking in crispiness for my taste but are very tasty. However, one of the employees was extremely unpleasant, to the point that I thought I wouldn't come back. Fortunately, one of the employees of Asian descent changed my mind. He came to check on everyone to see if everything was alright and handed out candy to the children. I found him very customer-oriented and pleasant. Thank you to this gentleman. In conclusion, it's good, a pleasant place to spend time with your children, and the prices are very reasonable.

18/11/2025: A bakery you absolutely must visit; a tasting tour of their shortbread, pastries, and homemade bread. I highly recommend it.

07/08/2025: Incredible! We stopped by by chance and ordered two sandwiches and some pastries. 10/10! Highly recommended.
