09/06/2026: This restaurant's food quality is steadily declining, but their prices never go down! The dishes are prepared hastily, some are tasteless, and the manager has an answer for everything. It's so easy to post on social media. The staff are clowning around at the manager's request, and the dishes look beautiful. In short, they only show us what they want us to see... Yes, indeed!
To be clear, I do not recommend it. Avoid at all costs.
02/06/2026: Disappointment Despite a Decent Welcome
We dined at Septième Art on a Sunday evening and the experience was generally disappointing.
The starter was decent and quite pleasant. However, my main course, Thai noodles with shrimp, was inedible due to its excessive sweetness. I must acknowledge, though, that the manager was responsive: he came to inquire about the problem and offered to replace the dish with duck breast and fries. The gesture was appreciated, even if the duck breast turned out to be rather ordinary, with somewhat tough meat.
The desserts confirmed our disappointment. My partner's Paris-Brest looked homemade, but unfortunately, it was quite a failure.
As for me, the crème brûlée, advertised as "homemade," left me perplexed. Its appearance was already surprising, with a very yellow color, but it was the response I received when I asked for it to be served lukewarm that particularly caught my attention. I was told that it wasn't possible because it would become liquid again.
This explanation surprised me. A traditional crème brûlée, made with eggs, can usually withstand being slightly warmed without becoming runny. This is often a distinguishing feature of homemade crème brûlée, unlike an industrially produced product made with stabilized ingredients. I obviously can't definitively confirm the origin of the product served, but this response, combined with the appearance of the dessert, seriously called into question the "everything homemade" claim.
More generally, we felt a lack of transparency. Before ordering, I had asked if everything was homemade and fresh, especially given the absence of the "homemade" logo on some dishes on the menu. The waiter assured me that everything was.
Yet, in my Thai wok dish, the peas seemed to be canned and the shrimp were frozen. The manager then explained to me that the use of frozen shellfish was permitted under the Maître Restaurateur (Master Restaurateur) designation, which is true.
I want to clarify that I don't question the freshness of the meat and fish, which certainly seem to be prepared fresh. However, the claim that the entire menu was consistently "fresh" and "everything homemade" didn't match what we actually found on our plates.
The problem, therefore, isn't so much the occasional use of frozen or processed products as the lack of consistency between the marketing message and the perceived reality. Even some desserts or items in the gourmet coffees we saw on neighboring tables cast doubt on the truly homemade nature of the entire offering.
Ultimately, between the numerous justifications, the inconsistencies in the messaging, and the unconvincing quality of the dishes, we left with the feeling that the "everything homemade" promise was largely exaggerated.
The bill, however, was rather high considering the experience offered. For the same price, we believe there are much better options in the area.

15/05/2026: A small, cozy restaurant serving traditional French food. We ordered a fondue, which came with salad and cured meats. They bring a very generous tray of bread for dipping. Personally, I didn't enjoy the fondue because of its texture—partly liquid and partly lumpy—but my companions thoroughly enjoyed it.
03/05/2026: The service was extremely slow; it took over half an hour to pick up our order even though it wasn't that busy. The food was very good, but I recommend ordering a starter to be fully satisfied; the main course alone won't be enough.

15/04/2026: The kitchen staff were appalling. Despite my arrival at 1:10 PM, they turned me away with the tact of a movie and made it clear I would be bothering them by eating at that hour (despite advertised hours until 3 PM).
These are the same people who will complain about a new McDonald's opening in the area. I'm thrilled to be able to get a steak at 2:10 PM at the competition.

25/04/2026: I ordered two chicken and goat cheese paninis and ended up with two paninis full of raw vegetables, which I don't like. And it's not the first time; I'll never order from there again. This is one time too many.
25/04/2026: Fast food that's anything but fast. They don't answer the phone and it took over 20 minutes to get a sandwich with three ingredients.

28/05/2026: I went through the drive-thru this Thursday, May 28th, at 10:26 PM.
The person who took our order was completely disrespectful: no "good evening," no "please," and no "thank you." She just wanted us to hurry up. Please seriously review the training and behavior of your staff; it doesn't make me want to come back.

A disaster from start to finish: the order was taken by an incompetent person (who didn't ask for clarification when the burger could be chicken or beef; luckily, their colleague asked afterward), and mixed up the orders… The wait was endless: 25 minutes to get three cars through the drive-thru even though there was no one inside waiting for their order.
And the burger… let's talk about the dry burger with a tiny bit of sauce on less than a quarter of the sandwich.
I'll go there once, but never again. The worst fast-food experience I've had so far.

02/05/2026: A terrible experience this Saturday afternoon: a 20-minute wait for a Smart meal. Result: a cold sandwich. The best part is yet to come: I return the tray and point out the problem to a waitress. Oh dear, she was offended! This person immediately flew off the handle. Because the young lady didn't accept the criticism. Two managers arrive, I repeat the problem to them in the same polite tone I had used with the young woman, and strangely enough, the manager accepted the criticism, but not the female manager, who told me they didn't need "customers like you." That's the last straw. And I maintain that neither this person nor the waitress belongs in a position to work with the public, which I had already told the waitress. It's true that when you arrive and you can already hear the waiter getting the shisha employees to sing, and the manager lounging on the sofa with her female customers: IT GIVES YOU A TASTE OF THE SERVICE.

18/05/2026: We were disappointed by the quality of service: the meat wasn't cut for the hot stone grill, and the knife wasn't suitable for cutting raw meat... The homemade fries were good.
The waiter was inattentive, asked if everything was alright, and didn't even want to hear the answer! He left with the empty plates while we were politely replying. Initially, he offered a thank you with a forced smile.
We won't be going back.
