06/07/2026: A homey atmosphere; if you want to taste authentic Corsican flavors, this is the place to be. Kindness, helpfulness, and hospitality. The owner is extremely kind and goes out of his way to explain the products he serves and prepares himself, both cured meats and cheeses. Highly recommended.

26/07/2026: I can't comment on the food or the atmosphere. However, we wanted to eat there and politely asked for a table in English. We were then quite rudely told in French that food wasn't served until 7 pm. The atmosphere was very, very unfriendly.

15/08/2026: We arrived as a group of six on August 15th without a reservation, and the staff and owner did everything they could to find us a table and were incredibly attentive. The atmosphere was fantastic, the food was excellent, and the service impeccable (a special mention to our waiter from Bordeaux from our friends in Clermont-Ferrand!). When we return to Corsica, a visit to this restaurant will definitely be on the agenda!

11/08/2026: We stayed for a week in Penta di Casinca and ate at this restaurant three times. Excellent, generous portions, homemade food, very professional and friendly staff. I recommend it 100 times over! Thank you for the warm welcome and delicious meals.

31/08/2026: A really great pizzeria. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Our food tasted excellent. We even got a free limoncello, which we've never received before in Corsica. (This is our second time on the island.)

28/08/2026: We've been twice, and we found this place exceptional in every way: - a magnificent terrace, surrounded by lush greenery and tastefully decorated down to the smallest detail - a warm and welcoming atmosphere and attentive service - cuisine that is both simple and sophisticated, refined yet unfussy, based on exceptional local products: Sea bass crudo (carpaccio), octopus, squid, veal chop, pork Absolutely flawless!!!

27/08/2026: Had the calamari and octopus and it was one of the best meals I have had in my life. Highly recommend. And the atmosphere and service are great!

30/08/2026: We had the opportunity to eat at this restaurant during our vacation, and it was an exceptional experience. The welcome was excellent, the advice we received for our menu choices (we wanted to try some typical dishes), and what can I say about the quality of the food... From the charcuterie board to the Corsican lasagna and the Corsican burger, everything was generous (even very generous) and a real treat for the taste buds. And we enjoyed our meals with a magnificent view of the sea. Pure bliss! 🤩

You feel and know you're being welcomed by locals (special mention to the kindness of Denise, the second generation to run the restaurant). 12/07/2026: A place that's not very touristy, but still has a hint of Corsica. Lumio isn't very touristy, and that helps. The view is breathtaking! The charcuterie board was very good, and the Vermentinu was also good. The waiters were all friendly. What can I say? If you're looking for an authentic place, this is it! Recommended even just for an aperitif!
