28/01/2026: I find it strange that at 8:30 pm, five of us were turned away because the venue closes at 8:30 pm…
28/01/2026: Shameful. I arrived at 8:30 PM to order, but I couldn't be served at my table because it was apparently closed, even though closing time should be 10 PM. On top of that, the two employees were incredibly unpleasant. I'm disgusted; I used to love this franchise. Needs improvement.

07/09/2025: Bar to avoid, very aggressive waiter, misleading sales, I order 2 Picon beers and realize that the beer has a strange taste, it was not a bottle of Picon it was "bitter beer" at 8 euros a glass extremely disappointing!! A friend joins us and pays 9 euros for the Balley's!!! And judging by the comments it is not the only alcohol where they lie about the name!
07/09/2025: We came to drink a picon beer! To our surprise, no picon at all, in fact they serve you "bitter beer" instead of picon at €8 a glass, shame on you! Avoid, unpleasant waiter and, putting it mildly, the boss who is not present and neglecting the bar!!!!!

07/12/2025: UNACCEPTABLE!
After placing a Deliveroo order, the cheese was missing from all four sandwiches I ordered. Furthermore, the kitchen staff took it upon themselves to add and leave out ingredients as they pleased (please read your receipts in the future). So yes, Subway is good, but only when it's done right.
Therefore, I advise against ordering anything from them, but rather recommend going in person so you can make sure they're doing their job properly.
06/11/2025: I often come here for lunch during my break. I'm always warmly welcomed, and I think it's the best in Lille.
I'd like to extend a big thank you to the two ladies who were there today and who found and put away my very valuable scarf ☺️

12/12/2025: So, to begin with, the staff were incredibly unpleasant and spoke to us very rudely. I wanted to use the toilet, but it required a code. I asked for help, and they brushed me off. Finally, on the third try, they decided to help me, but they made snide remarks, making me feel like I was stupid and incapable of thinking for myself. I went into the toilet: no trash can. How am I supposed to throw away something like towels? After struggling to discreetly throw my towel in the PUBLIC trash can, I went to wash my hands, but imagine my surprise: there was no soap in the toilets. I slipped on the floor because it was so greasy, the walls were stained with strange substances, the fries were cold… I wouldn't recommend going there again.
12/12/2025: I've never eaten so badly; I got food poisoning. The hygiene needs to be reviewed, especially since there are flies in the kitchen. I've never seen such rude people; they insulted my mother because I asked for a drink that wasn't too hot. In short, never come here unless you want to get sick. And I found hair in my kebab, even though the kebab shop owner is bald.

12/12/2025: My first experience a few years ago was wow, but the last two times have left much to be desired, and today was the worst: the chocolate croissant was even colder than the outside temperature at 7 a.m.... At €2.30 a croissant, it should at least be "fresh".
09/12/2025: Fascinating place, they gave me soy milk when I ordered oat milk, the cappuccino was COLD somehow and I paid 6 euros for it.

The toilets are out of service every time.
In terms of waiting there are 15 to 30 minutes (to be reviewed)

A saleswoman even had the wrong customer and asked the customer to run after the other customer 🤣🤣🤣 we walk on our heads in this mac do
To avoid especially if you have a train to take, don't stop there
What is the management of this establishment doing????? Are they aware of the deplorable attitude of their staff??????

Usually McDonald's are noisy, but not this one, even my children were whispering to talk.

12/08/2024: A waitress bitter because a man came to talk to me, (I suppose it was her Crush) but I knew nothing about it, I was at the bar and we spoke politely with all respect, she saw red without tell me why, I didn't understand what was happening to me, alienated all the waiters to the point where they allowed themselves to throw away my beer which I had left at the counter and which I had paid ! She also took the liberty of telling the boss that I had been insulting to him 😮 when obviously everything was false. I tried to talk to her about it but this cow refused! Everyone took their side because she’s their employee! There is a very bad spirit there and a lot of bad faith! I thought for a long time where the problem came from but after careful consideration it was because of this poor boy who had asked me for something as ordinary as the time lol!!
I strongly advise against it and believe me there are plenty of other bars in the area where it's fun and the service is great!
In addition, they basically discriminate, it’s rastons!
The bearded man at the entrance insults the slightly tipsy women at the entrance! Obviously they don’t sell water! Don't open a bar otherwise! In short, this place disgusts me!

Super welsh.
L'accueil est très chaleureux et naturel, la serveuse particulièrement est impayable :).
Nous avons passé un très bon moment.

18/12/2023: Cet hôtel ne mérite pas 4 étoiles (ni sur sa façade ni dans ces avis). Les équipements ont vieilli, le petit-dej est très basique, et surtout ils se permettent de mener de grands travaux pendant la présence des clients et ce dès le matin. C'est un défaut de professionnalisme et de respect inadmissible pour un hôtel qui se prétend de cette gamme. L'hôtel est en transition entre Crowne et Hilton, soit, mais alors il faut le fermer le temps des travaux et assumer le manque à gagner. Je n'y retournerai pas, quelle que soit la chaîne dont il fait partie.
16/12/2023: Assez déçue de cet hôtel testé pour une nuit lors d'un déplacement professionnel...
Les + : localisation proche des gares / la literie / le petit déjeuner.
Les - : chambres vieillottes et vétustes qui méritent un bon rafraîchissement (surtout la salle de bain).
Si j'ai bien compris, l'hôtel a été racheté et devrait être rénové... ce qui est nécessaire !

29/07/2024: I had a wonderful evening as usual at M.Jacques’s. Arthur our favorite bartender server was superb as usual. We will come back with pleasure!
13/07/2024: Monsieur Jacques is a real Lille institution. The service is great and the wines are good. I removed one star because we ordered a mixed board (price: 21 euros) which, in fact, arrived on a normal plate and not very well stocked with cheese and cold meats. There was a lot of salad in the middle. In short, I found it a bit outrageous to see such a small plate for 21 euros. This is for me a point to improve.
