03/04/2024: The bill is hefty: €3 per oyster with number 3s but also numbers 4; the kidneys are bathed in a mixture of blood and cream.
03/04/2024: One of the great café/bistrots/brasserie in Paris on Boulevard du Montparnasse, with all the classic dishes for this kind of restaurant.
Le Select is spacious and so it is easy to find a place if you just drop by or you can simply book in advance. The service is attentive, friendly and fast. There is so much to recommend on the menu, but their steak tartare and chicken dishes are among my favourites. Do not miss out on dessert, in particular the chocolate profiteroles or the tarte tatin (both are a must). This place is good for all occasions with friends, family or the quick business lunch on the go. I do not have enough good things to say about this place.

30/03/2024: Always great burgers, but REALLY too bad the end of the burger+fries+drink option. Obliged in the evening to take all products à la carte. The bill is saltier than home fries….
25/03/2024: I went there because it was close to my accommodation, and it was a pleasant local French restaurant. The staff was very kind and friendly, and the chicken on the daily menu was generous and delicious. The onion soup was a little too salty for my taste, but the rest was seasoned just right.

18/11/2023: A big thank you for existing. Table of 7 for a quiet brunch with friends. Copious, succulent dishes, idyllic setting, top service, relaxed atmosphere, unbeatable value for money. I highly recommend and I will come back for brunch or a drink. You're great!
12/11/2023: Not only is it a very good brunch, but it is a nice and original place to have a late breakfast on a Sunday! Excellent quality in the dresser, copious portions and friendly service. The atmosphere is quiet and not crowded in autumn. We'll keep coming back, that's for sure.

03/04/2024: It's a typical bar to go with friends, frequented by locals and Erasmus but all kinds of people. Good beers and above all a nice environment, ideal for relaxing after a nice walk.
I didn't take any food and I didn't see any. Tables, I give a high rating so as not to lower the average. It's a pub for drinking, not eating. Advised
31/03/2024: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! The owner or manager (he wouldn’t say) is absolutely nuts and violent. He started by addressing me and my pregnant wife in the most rude and obnoxious way, and when we kindly asked him to show some respect, he raised his voice and eventually asked us to leave the bar, which we did. As we were leaving the place, he became more aggressive, shouting at one of our friends who was with us. I can read in one of the comments left on Google that apparently he beat one of the customers for no reason a few months ago.
Another valid reason not to visit this place is that several people have reported racists comments made by the staff.
Finally it is a pricey (9-10€ for a pint) and stinky joint!

03/04/2024: Lovely place to go with friends and drink some good beers! It was a wonderful night and the music was perfect. The waitress Francesca was super kind with all of us!

03/04/2024: I loved it, great atmosphere, splendid location and adorable staff.
02/04/2024: I entered this restaurant and asked what the establishment's specialty was.
The boss (I suppose) replied: "It's me!", with his smartphone in his hand, staring at his screen and without even looking at me while I was talking to him.
Phew! I will boycott this place and the cad behind the counter from now on...

22/09/2023: Very good lunch! Everything is homemade with fresh produce, it's simple, generous, good and served with great kindness by the gentleman who does everything himself from A to Z. In a pleasant and quiet atmosphere.
08/08/2023: In the past, we accepted the simple side of the place, through the kindness of the gentleman and the low prices. The kindness is still there, but the ordinary glass of wine is 4.5 now, like everywhere else or even more...

03/04/2024: The worst part was ordering. They had kiosks but the kiosk was asking for customer id and I couldn't find something mentioned as to where to get it.
03/04/2024: First of all the place is magnificent, I like to come there for my lunch break after 2:00 p.m., there are fewer people and it's calmer. I gave the kitchen 4 stars because at times I have the impression that these are burgers that were cooked a while ago (no loss ok), that's just it. inconvenience at times afterwards in general when you signal the impeccable service. Otherwise, in terms of value for money, I find it more than adequate.
