18/11/2025: November 18, 2025. Heads up, you need to pull yourself together. Prices are dropping! Back on August 2, 2022. Still great! Super friendly owners. Coffee for €1! My go-to spot when I'm back in Sens! Interesting selection of draft beers. Cool atmosphere!

28/05/2026: I haven't eaten this badly in a long time. The fries were almost burnt and soaked in grease. They weren't like normal fries, just lukewarm, like they'd been reheated. The zucchini was unappetizing and completely overcooked. Awful. Not recommended!

26/05/2026: My partner and I are delighted to exhibit our paintings on the walls of L'Auguste, whose owners have welcomed our art with the same joy we experience after a meal within these very walls. Thank you to them.

27/05/2026: A very disappointing experience. The food was served cold, including the sandwiches which arrived completely frozen, without any care or attention whatsoever. As for the manager, his attitude was incredibly rude: no sense of hospitality, an unpleasant tone, and unprofessional behavior. It's a shame, because it completely ruined the experience.

29/03/2026: The staff are unprofessional... and they're always out of stock of the products they offer, no matter what opening hours you go. I revised my review today and removed a star because there's been no improvement; things are getting worse.

28/03/2026: A disaster!!! This is the second time they've been missing peanut sauce, Sanday sauce, the sauces we pay for despite asking at the drive-thru [You put everything in! Yes, yes!] Well, no, nothing actually. In short, the service is getting worse and worse. You pay and once you get home, half your order is missing, plus the bread is burnt 😡😡 Seriously, I understand that these things happen, but this is happening every time. That's it, Joigny! So yeah, they're friendly, no problem, but that's all.

30/01/2026: McDonald's is McDonald's. Within that context, it's excellent.

30/01/2026: HORRIBLE… The Coke tasted like dish soap, with weird stuff in the glass that I don't even want to know what it was, making you wonder if it wasn't actually a dish soap drink. The burgers were the same: a pickle soaked in dish soap, a dry and burnt bun—a truly disgusting result. As for cleanliness, let's not even go there. And to top it all off, burnt nuggets—like eating charcoal. The only positive point: the service was very friendly, no complaints there. I left with a stomach ache. For your own safety, I recommend you stay away.

14/04/2026: I had fond memories of my visit to Patapain, until I learned that the chain is linked to cruel practices inflicted on pigs. Knowing that sows are confined to cages where they can't turn around, and that piglets undergo tail docking, castration, or teeth filing, completely changes my perspective as a customer. Columbus Café & Co and Pret A Manger have made commitments: when will Patapain follow suit?

01/04/2026: Early morning experience at 7:30 am at the checkout… let’s just say the coffee was hot, but the welcome was less so 😅 Automated service with a string of “Here you are, and what else?” worthy of a well-programmed robot, but without the smile option activated. We understand that waking up is difficult (we’ve all been there), but a little smile would clearly be just as welcome as the coffee ☕ It’s a shame, because this is really not the usual image of Pat à Pain’s staff, who are generally much warmer.

17/05/2026: The restaurant was a bit noisy, and there was a bit of a wait for service. The food was basic.

15/05/2026: Nice place, decent menu, but don't be a big eater or you'll still be hungry. For me, it was fine.

06/05/2026: We arrived as a family with two of my daughter's friends. I couldn't find what I was looking for on the kiosk, so I asked someone for help. Not knowing, she said she'd ask her manager. I'm still waiting for him to come and help me, not to mention he rolled his eyes when she asked him! The place is incredibly noisy, full of thugs listening to their phones at full blast, shouting from one end of the restaurant to the other, blocking access to the restrooms, and nobody saying a word. We had to tell one of the young men off because we couldn't even hear ourselves speak, even though we were facing each other.

05/05/2026: When I ate my nuggets, I found a huge, squashed fruit fly at the bottom of the container. When I went to see the woman, she acted as if everything was normal, without offering any compensation. She didn't even apologize. I'm disappointed and I don't recommend this place. All the staff are unfriendly.
