30/04/2026: Very good restaurant, quality food, pleasant waiter. My only complaint is the noise, like a cider house. I prefer to sit at a table and chair.
29/04/2026: My partner and I went there for the first time and it was perfect. The duck breast was amazing and cooked to perfection. The prawns were also delicious. Everything is homemade, the ingredients are local and high-quality, and the atmosphere was fantastic.
I can't wait to go back!

07/11/2025: Today, November 7, 2025, we happened to be passing by this restaurant during our motorhome holiday (2), and what a pleasant moment it was!
Everything was perfect: the daily menu was excellent, the service top-notch, and the staff incredibly friendly.
True professionals! 😚 If we're ever in the area again, we'll be back with immense pleasure.

07/04/2026: Excellent French restaurant in the region. The service is charming and very friendly, and the food is superb. We ordered the set menu, which included the local specialty, Béarnaise soup (garbure), as well as some appetizers, a generous main course (we ordered the meat), and homemade apple tart for dessert. Very good value for money, and both the surroundings and the restaurant itself are very pleasant. We found the restaurant by chance and were pleasantly surprised. We will definitely return next time we visit the Ossau Valley. Highly recommended!

30/03/2026: It's truly delicious, the restaurant is very clean, and the staff is very professional. And what can I say about the owners? They always prioritize the customer's well-being and are exceptionally kind. You can't help but enjoy eating at this restaurant; the portions are very generous.

21/04/2026: No appetizer menu, and an hour's wait for our main courses, even though there were only two tables. My husband ordered hanger steak, but they told him it would be bavette; it was supposed to be rare, but it was well-done. I ordered giant prawns, but I got six measly shrimp tails with a few vegetables for €36—very expensive, so we didn't have dessert. When it came time to pay, we told him it wasn't great, and he said he wasn't a chef… He did offer a discount, though. Do as you please, but I don't recommend it.

29/04/2026: This evening I had a fantastic meal and a very warm welcome. They don't rush you, even though it's almost closing time, which is lovely. The young staff are great – these are the kinds of restaurants we appreciate – super tasty and cool!! I was stuffed!! Pure bliss!!! Reasonable prices including aperitifs and drinks!!

19/04/2026: The restaurant is well located, near the castle. The welcome and service were quick, but my duck wasn't cooked enough, despite my request, and the pizza of the day was average. It seems that the quantity of meals served has come at the expense of quality. The ice cream was very basic, nothing fancy. The prices were reasonable, and the sangria was good.
18/04/2026: Disappointing "gourmet salad" for 16 euros! A complete joke: a bit of salad, some cheap foie gras, and three undercooked chicken breasts barely cooked enough to make a mock fight—nothing more! The tarte tatin was 7 euros and really not good. The service was passable, although it was difficult to flag down a waiter to get some bread. In short, they claim to be homemade, but it's not worth it. As a native of Pau, I won't be returning to this tourist trap anytime soon.

20/10/2024: Ouvert en Hors saison, quand tout est fermé autour. La planche duo en guise d'apero à ravi les papilles des fans de fromage. Pour la suite nous avons été plus classique avec nos entrecôtes. Cuisson respectée, sauce béarnaise, c'est du local. Merci pour cet accueil chaleureux, les conseils sur les artisans du coin. La mascotte à 4 pattes nous a bien amusé.. Leur intérieur est plus grand que ce que vous apercevez par la fenêtre...la déco participe à l'ambiance chalet montagnard. Mon dessert a la châtaigne était léger et parfait. Merci. Adresse à garder.

03/10/2024: Très pratique car à proximité de l'ibis mais il faisait froid, serveuse à peine aimable et un autre serveur qui ne dit pas bonjour. Service extrêmement lent alors que très peu de monde pour du surgelé et une salade parisienne baignant dans une mauvaise sauce. Seule la cocotte de poisson était bonne. Rapport qualité/prix mauvais, très cher. A éviter, il vaut mieux s'acheter un bon sandwich, meilleur et moins cher.
