The welcome is always with a smile, the couscous is delicious, and the owner comes around to each table to make sure everything is alright. 07/06/2026: The best couscous around, for many years now. We're always warmly welcomed, the couscous is delicious and plentiful, and the owner even comes around to refill our plates! Pair it with a good bottle of Boulaouane wine, and everything is perfect. P.S.: We always ask for the semolina with cinnamon and raisins; it's absolutely delicious. Thank you!

06/05/2026: Review given in response to Aurélie Ehret's opinion: My partner and I were also at this restaurant on Valentine's Day, and personally, we found the menu to be more than good, a cut above the regular menu. Excellent value for money for this kind of evening. Note that we eat there very regularly outside of Valentine's Day and we highly recommend it. The daily special is more than adequate with a good selection (available on Saturdays, no less). The best part: they accept dogs.

04/10/2026: We went to eat there on a Saturday night, and everything was good except for the noodles, which were way overcooked—a shame. That evening, the person in charge of the wok station wasn't friendly at all. He took the plates, did his job, and threw them on the counter without a word; it was a very cold attitude. Otherwise, the rest of the staff was very friendly. I still recommend this restaurant, which remains of good quality.

03/10/2026: A very popular restaurant with a huge buffet and excellent value for money. At €17.90 on Saturday at lunchtime, including drinks and coffee, it's hard to find a better deal. However, we found the quality rather average. I tried several things: shrimp, sushi, stuffed shells, sweet and sour shrimp with rice… nothing really impressed me. I would have liked to try the wok, but there were about 25 people in line. The restaurant was also very noisy and packed to the last table. That said, the person whose birthday we were celebrating enjoyed it, so it was a success. It's a great place primarily for its selection, quantity, and price.

30/08/2026: Nicely situated under trees, you can also sit outside in the pedestrian zone of Haguenau. Typical French style. Delicious sweets like croissants, cakes, and éclairs. They also speak German. Café au lait (coffee with milk) outside is €3.10. I'll be back and I'll take some croissants with me. Bon séjours et au revoir. Jens

16/08/2026: La Farandole pastry shop. A nice little spot in the summer, right in the city center. Enjoy a hazelnut latte and a Paris-Brest on the terrace. Worth checking out.

18/09/2026: We knew McDonald's Schweighouse always forgets an item in a drive-thru order; they're notorious for it. But this time they had the audacity not only to forget two items but also to add a nice long hair to a burger! They're not even respecting basic hygiene standards anymore. Disgusting.

17/08/2026: We ordered two Sheck banana express drinks, and I don't recommend them; the banana flavor was like medicine, it was undrinkable. We also had two slices of cake that you had to eat without spoons. The very kind waitresses exchanged our drinks. But at that price, shouldn't we expect better quality?

21/05/2026: Noisy hotel!! I don't usually leave negative reviews, but a little compassion for your customers would be appreciated. I was woken up early this morning by a door slamming every time someone passed by the breakfast room. I asked reception to please hold the door open to stop the noise, but no one bothered to do it!! So imagine my surprise when I looked at the reviews and saw several complaints about this same problem, some dating back more than a year. A door spring can be adjusted, and if it's broken, it should be removed. As a result, I've cancelled my next reservation at your hotel. On the Logis Hotel app, you can add certain establishments to your favorites; it's a shame you can't blacklist them.

27/09/2026: Very disappointed with this McDonald's. This is the second time I've been, and they told me they were out of sauce for the €5 meal. Instead of finding a solution, they immediately offered me a more expensive meal. If the €5 meal is available, it should be normal to be able to order it with the sauce included. I find this practice really disappointing, especially when it's happening twice.

05/09/2026: After spending a few days in Alsace and tasting so many different sauerkraut dishes, I can tell you that this one ("homemade") was really bad! Oh my goodness 😰, the meat, the cabbage... NOTHING was good. My friend had a burger and told me it wasn't great either (a big, tasteless chunk of ground beef)... Really not great.

25/08/2026: We came on a Monday for lunch, fifteen minutes before noon, and ordered a boat for two. The service was impeccable despite the number of customers; the waitress was attentive, smiling, and incredibly fast. The food was really good, the side dishes as well-prepared as the main courses. The minced pork skewers are amazing! It's a shame we live too far away to come back more often. I highly recommend it!
