The food was excellent, and our 7-year-old son ate the entire set menu (from starter to dessert) and thoroughly enjoyed it. A truly wonderful moment of sharing, delicious food, and smiles. 24/04/2026: I had already enjoyed pastries and viennoiseries from Maxime's several times, but this was my first time dining in for lunch. We ordered two salads (a Greek-style salad with marinated vegetables, feta, and chicken, and a pasta salad with avocado, salmon, and shrimp) and a cheesecake to top it all off. Our salads were generously portioned and delicious, as was the dessert. I would have appreciated a few pieces of bread to accompany the salad; I imagine that would be an extra charge? Whether you eat in or take away, Pâtisserie Maxime offers a variety of baked goods and pastries, as well as several savory options (hot and cold) that are sure to delight everyone!

21/04/2026: I can't leave a review of the products because, despite waiting more than five minutes in the shop, the saleswoman, busy with the ice cream tubs, came in but didn't bother to tell me to wait and instead attended to customers in the tea room. I deduced that I had become invisible... so I left! If this is a common occurrence, I hope the owner doesn't need to make a profit.

23/04/2026: A mixed experience. While the food was good, the way families are treated leaves much to be desired. The wait between courses was particularly long, but the waiter categorically forbade my children from playing a board game. When asked why, no concrete explanation (safety or space) was given, simply citing a legal prohibition. Yet, the law doesn't prohibit board games in a restaurant as long as they don't disrupt the service or disturb other customers, and especially since 11-year-olds don't play poker! It's a shame: imposing a long wait on children while refusing them the chance to play quietly makes the experience unpleasant. I wouldn't recommend this place to parents looking for a welcoming and flexible atmosphere.

20/02/2026: A manager who thought there were no customers had the nerve to treat his two smiling, helpful employees like dirt. This is unacceptable. I strongly advise against giving a single cent to such a condescending man who insults his staff.

19/01/2026: The mille-feuille was worse than the pastries sold in supermarkets…a disaster. Fortunately, the very friendly staff raised the bar.

12/04/2026: A very bad experience. There were 22 of us celebrating a birthday, and a simple service error (the cordon bleu with Emmental and Munster cheeses were mixed up) completely ruined the meal. The dish with Munster cheese, which wasn't eaten by the person who ordered it, was still charged. The owner insisted on charging for it, which is simply unacceptable. We had to insist heavily to have it removed from the bill. This kind of behavior is neither professional nor customer-friendly. As a result, we didn't want to stay, we didn't get any dessert or coffee, and our birthday party was ruined. Luckily, the waitress Laura improved things somewhat: she was smiling, professional, and genuinely sorry.

03/04/2026: We were there for an evening with friends and had a great time. The service was very friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed the tarte flambée!
