27/08/2026: Having frequented the Five Guys chain, I wasn't disappointed by this restaurant.
I went there twice during my stay in Lille, and I was always pleasantly surprised by the staff's friendliness.
As for the rest, there are no surprises if you're familiar with the Five Guys chain.

Honorable mention to the dedicated and high-quality staff.
At the risk of being a bit over-enthusiastic and hyperbolic, I'm giving this fast food place, which I hadn't tried before, a perfect score... and what a discovery!!
Admittedly, the first thing you learn about this fast food place is a little hesitant... a standard burger for over €10... no student discount, fries and drinks are extra...
BUT, creating a Five Guys account gives you a promo code for free fries, you just have to pay for the drinks, and you get a sort of mini burger for €15... okay...
AND THAT'S WHEN THE MOMENT TRANSITIONALS.
Our orders arrive quickly, which is a pleasant surprise.
The free fries, described as "average," would blow McDonald's big fries out of the water (both in quantity and quality). The cheeseburger (which was slightly more expensive than the competition) turned out to be DELICIOUS, FAR superior to those of other chains, and now my favorite, I think. In a world where you can easily pay up to €11-15 for fast food meals (the best of/maxi best of), the comparison is just insane.
Not to mention the unlimited drinks and the slightly "old-school American" atmosphere of the fast food restaurant, you have a reason to write a positive review on Google!

30/09/2026: I love it. My refuge. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, and the food is good. Simple but fresh dishes made with love. And overall, it's cheaper than what you find in the neighborhood, which is a definite plus! :)

Having come to celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary, we were enchanted by Domaine de Roquerousse. Don't let the initial impression of the power station on the approach put you off: once you arrive, the setting is a verdant haven, absolutely idyllic. The meal was excellent from start to finish, and the welcome and service were perfect. A huge thank you for this peaceful and very pleasant experience, as well as for the conversation at the end of the meal, which has made us eager to return and try the plancha and music evenings on your magnificent terrace!

I've never seen a buffet where you have to clear your own plates either.

30/09/2026: Memories of my youth. I used to eat there when I was younger. I have the impression that the prices haven't changed. The staff is very friendly. The portions are generous. A real success. It's become my go-to place now that I live in Salon-de-Provence.
26/09/2026: We were charmed by the beautifully set and decorated tables.
The meal was excellent, with dishes offering very good value for money, a nice menu, and pleasant service. The restaurant is well located, not far from a covered parking lot. Importantly, the terrace is shaded and quiet.
A good experience.

With a coffee, the soft cream puffs or the crispy, tender croissants are a delightful treat after a workout…
I also tried the couscous – made fresh sometime at lunchtime – very good!! Enjoy it on the terrace or take it away.
Finally, I tried the two types of pizza, which I found too bland and uninteresting… But cooking isn't exactly their specialty, I tell myself.
I didn't try the bread, but I have no doubt it must be excellent. I can see the looks on the faces of the other customers around me. After all, it's the heart of the business. Anyone who makes pastries of this caliber is bound to make good bread.
The cakes, which I also didn't try, should also be very good, as pastry making is a skill closely related to baking.
And each time, as I leave, I bless the baker for his generosity, his love for people, his high standards too… ;))) and I look up at the sky: Lord God, thank you 😇!
14/07/2026: Tradition is absolutely delicious!!
I prefer their baguette (Tradition) to those from more famous bakeries.
I haven't tried their other breads or cakes, so I can't comment on those, but I always buy Tradition here!
