16/08/2026: It could be so much better. They lack an effective manager. The atmosphere is nonexistent. You don't want to linger, yet I go there from time to time.

01/07/2026: There's a big party (school prom?) happening at the chateau this evening. I would expect a hotel to notify its guests of such an event. I have a long travel day tomorrow and was expecting an early night (especially being mid-week).

24/04/2026: A very beautiful and charming hotel. It's a real treat to be able to work remotely from their garden overlooking the lake. The rooms are lovely and very comfortable. The only improvement worth noting is that they don't have a dinner menu; they might suggest what they have available at the time.

10/09/2026: The service needs improvement: being scolded for taking a menu from the table behind us because no one brought us one, and being jostled when splitting the bill, is unacceptable. I come to eat, not to be yelled at. Furthermore, while the noise level was indeed high, the hostess called around the room asking us to be quiet. I didn't realize that silence was required when we sat down to eat. I am extremely disappointed with this establishment, whose staff failed to allow us to enjoy this convivial moment.

08/09/2026: We arrived at 12:45 PM to eat mussels in cream sauce for the street fair. The service was incredibly slow, the staff disorganized and unprofessional, constantly dealing with complaints from almost every table... We started with watery spritzes. We immediately pointed out that the Crémant de Loire listed on the menu was missing. The waitress presented us with a blue bottle of Prosecco, which she claimed to have put on the menu, even though we saw her do it, and it wasn't the right one. The bottle of white wine served was warm and turned out to be a sweet wine, not listed on the menu, and not meant to be eaten with mussels. When we complained, the waitress changed it to a Chardonnay, without giving us a choice. It took over an hour and a half to finally get the pots of mussels, but we had to wait another 15 minutes for a small basket of fries. Of course, the mussels in cream sauce were not only without cream but also without any seasoning: celery, onions, garlic, carrots, parsley... a real treat! When we pointed this out again, they offered us a replacement, but since our neighbor at the next table had accepted it, we had to wait another half hour for a new one. We decided to decline and quickly put an end to this fiasco. We asked to see the manager, who was apparently absent. When we left three hours later, we spoke with several other very unhappy customers who had had the same experience. I don't know if the food is any better; I doubt it, given that it's the same chefs... AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! A real Kitchen Nightmare

08/09/2026: Evening at the gourmet restaurant... As always, the dishes were excellent. A particular favorite was the sea bass with bisque sauce and peas with kiwi. Bravo and see you soon!

18/09/2026: I agree with the previous reviews regarding the friendliness of the waiter and waitress. We came to eat as a family, and everything was fine until our food arrived. We ordered two steaks, which were very small and much less than the 220g indicated on the menu. Furthermore, our sauce was cold. We asked for it to be reheated, which was a bit much to ask of the waitress. We also ordered a mussel at the table; you have to look hard to find the Maroilles cheese, as it's quite discreet. During our meal, no server came to ask us what we would like to drink. We had to go to the bar ourselves, and when the beer arrived, it was much less than 33cl. The waitress didn't respond; we had to wait for the foam to settle. I've never seen anything like it, and we were still charged for a 33cl beer. We waited a good 20 minutes for the dessert menu, as we had requested it, and the wait for our order to be taken was the same. We finally said we didn't want dessert and ordered it elsewhere, where it was much better. From what we could see at other tables, and when the bill arrived, of course, the two sauces were charged extra, even though they're supposed to be included with red meat, especially considering the price of the meat and its poor quality. Not to mention, if you eat near a window, you'll have the company of several flies, including one on its back on the table. Hygiene-wise, it would be much appreciated if they did a walk-through of the dining room before opening. (Especially the restrooms; if they're in the same state as the kitchen, I understand better why I was disappointed with my visit.)

10/09/2026: Avoid this place for food! I ordered my steak medium-rare, but it was still very rare. I sent it back to the kitchen twice, and it came back barely cooked. It was served with hash browns: they were black, mushy, and definitely expired after being vacuum-packed. My neighbor ordered the steak tartare, which was dry and far too salty. The service was a disaster. I had to fetch my own water glasses because they only brought us five for a table of eight. The waiter left without taking our drink orders.

09/08/2026: So, it's a Sunday and most of the town is shut. Luckily, we found this place, which seemed to be buzzing with people of all ages sat on the terrace. Staff were apologetic about the food, "only finger food". It was lovely, a generous cheese and charcuterie platter and selection of tapas.

03/07/2026: As a regular customer, I find this bar very friendly and the servers cool, I recommend it :)

03/10/2025: This place is currently closed due to a fire burning down the building on the 26th September. I don't forsee this reopening soon

19/09/2025: Food mediocre, not quite warm. "Mistake" at the checkout: paid 20 euros too much. Didn't get a receipt. Got the money back after asking.
