15/02/2026: Excellent takeaway pizzas at a very competitive price. They have three sizes; the small one is already quite generous 👍 A quick phone call and they'll pick them up right away. Delivery is also available for €3. The chef and his assistant are friendly. I'll be back and I highly recommend them!

04/12/2025: Hello... I had lunch there about two weeks ago with my husband. We waited five minutes for a table. There were other people having coffee, as were two other tables. It's a shame, the lovely veranda should be closed to drinks after a certain time, and the restaurant itself should be kept open to avoid having to turn customers away. Sincerely, As for the food, I ordered the chef's suggestion, grilled beef. It was good quality and cooked properly (rare these days). It was a shame it was served on a cold plate. The fries, however, need improvement!

01/12/2025: Don’t believe the bad reviews here ! The owners changed very recently and the restaurant is now the best in this price range in Ouistreham. A young couple, with experience. The vegetables are hand cut, the sauces tasty, the fish right from the market. What a pleasure after the previous two owners. Completely renovated. The only thing I don’t understand is why the new owners didn’t change the name, to get rid of the bad reviews on the internet and to show that they are different. On the other hand, the locals have adapted, the place is now full during lunch time… :-)

15/02/2026: A very warm welcome in a beautiful setting. The online service was very efficient, allowing us to organize our stay exactly as we wished. The staff were friendly, attentive, and ready to answer all our questions and requests. Located in the center of Ouistreham, it's perfect for walking to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The rooms were cozy and fully equipped. We thank them for this wonderful stay.

01/01/2026: We had a very pleasant two days in this lovely, well-located villa. The staff were always smiling and helpful, and the buffet was excellent. The only downside was the lack of heating in the bathroom at the moment, and the TV from the next room was a bit too loud. But we would gladly return!

04/03/2026: Bad experience. Disorganized service, order errors, and an interminable wait. The worst part: customers were smoking inside, which is prohibited, and nobody said a word. Unacceptable. Given the prices and the complete lack of professionalism, I absolutely do not recommend it. Avoid at all costs.

16/11/2025: We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in Ouistreham, and especially the Hôtel Restaurant Le Phare. The food was generous, the breakfast delicious, and the staff attentive to guests' needs and very welcoming – a real pleasure. The room was perfect, with comfortable bedding. The location is excellent, a lively area, lovely for walking, and directly accessible from a beautiful cycle path for exploring this beautiful region. Thank you to all the staff!

04/01/2026: Beautiful interior and a very warm, open welcome that immediately makes you feel comfortable. The service was kind, attentive, and helpful, and the amuse-bouche was a lovely touch. The oysters were very tasty, and the mussels were good as well — nicely filled, with a delicious sauce. The fries were a nice idea since they were made from fresh potatoes, not frozen ones, but unfortunately they were quite greasy, soft, and not crispy at all. The overall table presentation was slightly spoiled by a very basic bottled sparkling water, which didn’t match the otherwise elegant setting. The only real downside was a noticeable smell of dampness, which contrasted with the beautiful interior. Overall, the place has great potential.

07/07/2025: Always a pleasure to go there I regularly go to McDonald's in Houistreham, and I'm always very satisfied. Orders are served quickly, well prepared, and the food is hot and delicious. The restaurant is always clean, both inside and at the terminals. The staff is pleasant and efficient, even when it's busy. It's a reliable place where I eat often, and I've never been disappointed. Honestly, one of the best McDonald's in the area 👌

19/12/2025: We had booked a table using a gourmet pass for the 19th at 12:45 PM. We received a booking confirmation. Big surprise! When we arrived, the restaurant was closed and marked "for sale." Unbelievable! Luckily, it was just the two of us; if we had booked for six, we would have looked pretty silly. Who is responsible for this major blunder?

24/10/2025: Mediocre. The Martini was served lukewarm without ice or orange, but for the price, it's a steal 😉 It took 45 minutes to be served (mussels and fries 😮). The quality of both the food and the service was mediocre. The waiter seemed completely indifferent to what we were saying... We won't be back; there are much better places nearby while waiting for the ferry.
