23/08/2026: A truly wonderful culinary discovery, and we received a very warm welcome! We dined with our teenagers, who ordered homemade burgers with fries. They gave it 5 stars, and they're usually quite strict with our restaurant reviews :) Well done! We opted for the €44 set menu, which included a starter, a "trou normand" (lime and Calvados ice cream), a main course, cheese, and dessert. Everything was very generous. We recommend arriving at the restaurant well-fed if you choose this menu :) The foie gras starter with Calvados, homemade bread, and chestnut and dried fruit was excellent! The salmon gravlax was also excellent! The seafood croque-croute was very flavorful and arrived piping hot. For dessert, we had a macaron, a Calvados-flavored crème brûlée, and an apple cake. All were excellent as well. All the ingredients are fresh. Kudos to the chef who knows how to combine them to our great delight. This is the kind of restaurant quality that's becoming increasingly rare. The waiter was attentive and kind. We highly recommend this restaurant, which deserves to be better known. Slightly set back from the other restaurants facing the port, it's easily accessible with ample parking. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely stop here. Thank you for your warm welcome.
14/08/2026: Everything was perfect! The place was recommended to us and we absolutely don't regret choosing it. We ate very, very well and had a wonderful time. We wholeheartedly recommend it to ourselves!

23/08/2026: A fantastic experience at this brasserie! We hadn't made a reservation, but the staff member who greeted us managed to find us a table anyway. A warm welcome, pleasant service, and delicious food. A friendly atmosphere and excellent value for money. Thank you to the whole team for their hospitality; we'll gladly return! I highly recommend it.
23/08/2026: Excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed it, and the portions were generous too. We ate on the terrace overlooking the market square, where Commandos 4 passed after landing! Magnificent!

From the matchmaker to the dessert.
The service was attentive.
The dishes were exquisitely prepared; I rediscovered figs with the dessert!
Excellent flavor combinations; perfect cooking; in short, we recommend it without hesitation.
And we will definitely be back!

19/08/2026: I regularly buy bread from the outdoor vending machine, and twice I haven't received full change (0.20 and 0.50). I went to report it to the owner, but she can't do anything because it was never reported to her, except by me today.
I do not recommend this place as it is completely lacking in customer service.

13/08/2026: Excellent traditional baguette, and the same goes for the chocolate éclairs. Passing through your region, we highly recommend this place. Plus, two young people were there to serve us – absolutely fantastic! 👌👍 BRAVO

As soon as you step inside, you're greeted by a warm, clean, and bright space.
The menu offers something for everyone.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, with a special mention for the French toast 😋

14/05/2026: Very disappointed considering the price of the room. In poor condition. The shutters were held together with wire so we didn't dare close them, the bed was uncomfortable, the carpet was worn, the shower had no place to put the shower head and a plastic curtain, no place to put the soap... there were stains on the floor, the paint and wallpaper need replacing, the decor was outdated with plastic flowers and a shabby wardrobe... I do not recommend it.

02/09/2026: A restaurant set back a little from Place du Général de Gaulle, with a charming shaded terrace and beds of exotic plants.
"Le Channel" has been recommended by the "Petit Futé" guide for several years.
The menu is very varied: seafood, set menus, crêpes and galettes, traditional cuisine, à la carte options, and set menus at very reasonable prices. Everything is delicious. Here, you can take your time, far from the hustle and bustle of the ferry.
The restaurant is family-run, managed by the father, mother, and daughter. The owner is happy to tell you the restaurant's history; he's a true enthusiast!

19/12/2025: We had booked a table using a gourmet pass for the 19th at 12:45 PM. We received a booking confirmation. Big surprise! When we arrived, the restaurant was closed and marked "for sale." Unbelievable! Luckily, it was just the two of us; if we had booked for six, we would have looked pretty silly. Who is responsible for this major blunder?
24/10/2025: Mediocre. The Martini was served lukewarm without ice or orange, but for the price, it's a steal 😉
It took 45 minutes to be served (mussels and fries 😮). The quality of both the food and the service was mediocre.
The waiter seemed completely indifferent to what we were saying...
We won't be back; there are much better places nearby while waiting for the ferry.

22/08/2026: Nice restaurant, relaxed service, it's a shame there weren't enough spices in the mussels with cream sauce.
21/08/2026: Cleanliness left much to be desired.
The food needs improvement (the pancakes were overcooked and under-filled, and the egg was completely mixed with the cheese and was far too overcooked). The children's menus were very small. The Coke wasn't cold. The salad was blackened.
And the blonde waitress's friendliness leaves much to be desired. Asking for a new carafe of water was like asking for the moon.
She came back to the table to take the children's dessert order and coughed over the table. Unprofessional.
However, a special mention goes to the brunette waitress who was very pleasant and smiling. That was the only positive point.

12/08/2024: Mauvaise expérience arrive à l’addition, le serveur ne nous avait pas fourni la carte des boissons, nous avons demandé un pichet de rosé pensant que le prix serait correct pour 50cl. Quelle fut ma surprise ! 28€50 hors de prix, le serveur s’est bien caché de nous avertir que c’était le vin le plus cher de la carte !!! Inadmissible, aucun geste à la fin. Sans compter la crème brûlée facturée 7€50 pour une toute petite quantité. Très déçue

16/10/2023: We went there just to discover that the restaurant was closed. The opening times at Google were obviously not updated.
02/09/2023: A server for a large terrace. I can't give a review for the kitchen because we couldn't even drink, we waited like the other customers and we were tired of waiting and finally we left. Tempis for the owner's face. I advise no one to go there.

06/05/2026: The hotel is charming and has a nice, old-fashioned feel, with a very warm welcome.
The only downside is the bathroom! The shower head and hose are subpar.
It's really small and tucked away to the side.
Breakfast was decent, but a bit more variety would be better.
05/02/2026: A decent, clean 2-star hotel. The decor is a bit dated, but hey, it's just for sleeping! It could use a few more power outlets, which is a shame considering how many devices we have these days...
