04/09/2024: We had booked because the photos on the internet attracted us as well as the attractive price. First surprise: the photos do not correspond to the announcement indicated on booking. The cleanliness leaves something to be desired, and that's saying something. No bathroom linen available even though the advert states "towels" in the "bathroom" section. Uncomfortable bedding. Rude staff. I am very disappointed with this hotel which had a negative impact on my stay. Joffrey Samba

12/07/2024: Small friendly hotel, the owners are very kind and pleasant. The room is well appointed, good bedding, but not very clean considering the price we pay. And too bad the shower is on the landing. Breakfast well served.

22/09/2024: We ate on the terrace. Very pretty setting, view of the port and its towers. Pleasant atmosphere. Friendly and smiling staff. We ate very well. Good value for money. We recommend. Thank you for providing dishes for vegetarians.

12/09/2024: Every year I notice that the service gets worse and worse. And this year is where I really noticed it. To start, traditionally the waiter brings the menu and then comes back to take the order, so you had to guess the menu because he didn't bring it back. There were four of us. 3 of us wanted to have hot chocolate (a similar order because we had to guess the menu!!!), one of us asked if it was made with only milk or with water. They responded with water so we all changed our minds, I asked for a glass of rosé instead, I wasn't comfortable at first ordering wine because I didn't have the wine list before my eyes! Actually nothing to do with a hot chocolate but it's not something the waiter has the right to comment on and remarks to me in an unpleasant tone. He comes back with my glass of rosé and says "here is your glass of hot chocolate"... Very unpleasant and unhelpful. We had also asked for a carafe of water which was simply refused... My mother asked him if it was indeed a decaf and he replied unpleasantly again "you ordered a decaf so of course it's a decaf ". Another person who was with us kindly asked him for a menu, he brought him the menu, person on the menu “it’s the same!”. Ashamed! ⚠️⚠️⚠️ And now on the sanitary side, one of the employees took out a large trash can on wheels from the kitchen and crossed the brasseries with it! And two, we noticed one of the cooks smoking an electronic cigarette in the kitchen, never seen before!

13/09/2024: The restaurant offering in la Rochelle is huge and there are certainly many good and very good restaurants. We were looking for oysters and fish dishes and found a pearl. André is special, we enjoyed the evening with friends.

12/08/2024: Ensemble assez moyen, l'accueil est professionnel. La pâte à pizza est très fine et la quantité des ingrédients à l'intérieur est très limite par rapport au prix. Nous avons prix 5 pizzas et elles étaient toutes assez peu garnies, dommage par rapport au prix des pizzas

Nonchalance, lack of interest even though the person asked the same question 5 minutes before. In short, for that reason, I won't go back. But if there was only that... Food (if we can call it food). Dry, no seasoning, brown salad, fries taken out with the customers before while my tacos are ready 6 minutes later so cold fries. A sandwich half 40 seconds in the grill to cook it but 40 seconds therefore, fried inside cold, cold meat. And all that 14€. And quite frankly

12/07/2024: I've known this caterer for about 3 years and I go there with my eyes closed whenever the urge strikes me. The restaurant is not the biggest but there is still a choice, the staff is pleasant and everything is very good! I totally recommend!

30/04/2024: The seller is rude. It weighs the slightest gram of what you take in your meal menu. He tries it several times to put on the right weight, even if it means putting too much at the start and having to try more than 3 times to get the right weight. Indeed, the latter will not hesitate to remove the slightest piece of chicken, I find that really average. No good business sense especially for the price of their noodles… By the way, cooking in the microwave remains to be desired, barely enough time to walk a few meters on the old port and it's cold. In short, it wasn't the first time, but the last time for me.
