02/05/2026: A very pleasant afternoon break. The hot chocolate, homemade smoothie, and gingerbread were all delicious, accompanied by excellent homemade cakes. The atmosphere was calm and cozy.

Some unpleasant smells coming from the port, but that's just part of the sea sometimes.
Basic meal, nothing extraordinary. Simple, efficient. Nothing more.

29/06/2026: The waiter was unfriendly; he should find another job. There was absolutely no interaction with the customers.
And drinking alcohol right next to us at the next table during service was extremely inappropriate.
The cook leaning against the wall with his sunglasses on and arms crossed while we'd been waiting for our food for ages was completely unacceptable.
The food was very mediocre.
Avoid this place...

16/05/2026: I wanted a pizza in Royan. After reading the manager's replies, I've already had a feast without eating.
You're a joke, nobody cares that your restaurant has been open for 62 years. Read again, nobody cares about your 62 years in business. That's absolutely no guarantee of quality.
The photos from other customers show terrible food. Take a moment to reflect and stop writing unreadable, unpunctuated paragraphs.
27/04/2026: La Nona lives up to its reputation. The homemade dough is truly delicious, light yet generous. And the pizzas are topped with plenty of filling. The service is excellent, and the owner is very friendly. The prices are reasonable for the location (around €25 for a pizza, dessert, and coffee at lunchtime). A sure bet in Royan, I highly recommend it.

I started with a salted butter and sugar crepe and finished with three scoops of artisanal ice cream with whipped cream.
A real treat for the taste buds. I highly recommend it.
17/02/2026: I went to the store, and everything was really great. I felt like I was back at my roots, back in my homeland of French Guiana, and I could also smell Suriname. Everything was at low prices, don't hesitate to go check it out.

02/05/2026: A very good restaurant where we enjoyed delicious pizzas and a generous burger; the fries were crispy and much appreciated. The location is ideal on the seafront; we had a lovely evening and will definitely return. The waiter was very friendly and professional.

Arrived at the drive-thru at 11:40 PM, even though closing time was advertised as midnight. Barriers were already blocking access, making it impossible to place an order. If the drive-thru closes before the posted time, please state this clearly. It was disappointing to make the trip for nothing.

11/06/2026: Very disappointed tonight with two "fresh" salads that contained melon with unwashed skin, expired black and hard avocado, and no arugula as promised.
Whereas last time it was good, is it the same chef?

03/05/2026: We had a wonderful time at this brasserie, which offers a great introduction to Basque cuisine. The service is incredibly friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable, especially for the daily special.
Don't let the exterior put you off!
04/03/2026: 40 euros for 2 mimosa eggs, fish and chips (chef's recipe), and grilled sirloin steak (actually a well-salted sliced steak) in a very light portion
