05/12/2024: Reservation? Not everyone has the same definition. After having obtained a table without a word of apology, after having consulted the very tempting menu, arrived the entry. A mass covered in a thick white sauce hid the potato pie! The appearance was not there and the taste even less so! A half-raw, half-cooked mass with a strange taste. Next came the browned and fatty veal head surrounded by a pseudo mesclun with leaves heavily stained with rust. I give the potatoes a thumbs up. Fortunately we did not opt for dessert.
The arachnids who perhaps came to celebrate Halloween have forgotten their decorations in the toilets!
What a waste, what a disappointment, for an establishment so well placed and with certain potential!!

23/08/2024: Never disappointed in the years I have been in Bourges.
For me it's the best.
I don't eat it often but when I do I want it to be good, obviously.
Never a single nerve in the merguez, plus they still put 3 in one and the same sandwich.
Good quantity/quality even on the fries.
Their dishes are super good and their breads too.
In short if you want a safe dark bet.

This would explain why the boss lets the young waiter (although full of good will) suffer and get entangled. Then come and criticize it in front of customers in complete relaxation. (Will she succeed in training him? As promised)

At 1h30 wait: first plate at the table.
It's a shame it doesn't flatter the work of the cook who deserves to be recognized.

Restaurant dont la terrasse donne sur les marais. La salle est aussi bien agréable . L'ensemble est hors du temps, plein de charme. Certains trouvent que le patron est bourru, peu aimable,nous l'avons trouvé plein de bienveillance. J'ai rarement mangé une aussi bonne tête de veau avec une vraie sauce ravigote. Les prix sont très honnêtes. Nous reviendrons.

15/09/2024: The owner was very unpleasant because according to him we questioned him too much despite the latter's numerous forgetfulness (a lot of waiting and forgetting about the menus, the dishes, the orders). There were only 3 of us and we spent 2.5 hours in the restaurant because of the wait even though there were only 5 tables taken. The food was good but I don't recommend this restaurant because the service spoils everything.
In addition, the owner broke a glass during service on a nearby table (which can happen), but did not clean anything, leaving the pieces of glass on the floor in the middle of the restaurant.
After payment we shared with him our strange impression of the service and the owner immediately got angry despite our calm. He opened the door for us to leave and said “forever”.
I have never hated a restaurant so much.

17/03/2024: To avoid if you don't want to get sick:
The waiter who prepares me speaks informally, is aggressive, the kebab is made in a hurry (basically there are only vegetables and no meat and at the beginning the opposite is only meat) the contents of the kebab are not mixed at all . All this for €8 and having a stomach ache for the rest of the day.
And what's more, when I go to put my tray down, the waiter (the same one again) attacks me to ask me why I haven't had a drink.
22/02/2024: I have been coming to the Bosphorus for years. I have always eaten well and we have a great welcome. Close to the city center. Very practical for eating lunch and taking a walk afterwards. One of the best kebabs in Bourges and I recommend it
