03/09/2026: We ordered a vegetarian burger and eggplant. Not very original, the burger had a cucumber and a tomato. The taste wasn't great. Furthermore, the price-to-quantity ratio wasn't good, with a small plate of grilled eggplant and a tiny salad for 25 euros.

05/06/2026: A casual burger joint near the center of Ajaccio, which we tried for dinner one evening in early June. The menu is extensive, offering a variety of sandwiches. The highlight of the sandwich, in my opinion, is the artisanal bread (you can also choose frozen bread, but for a euro more, I recommend homemade), incredibly soft and flavorful. The sandwich is well-seasoned and topped with plenty of fries. We paid about €18-20 per person for a sandwich, fries, and drink, which I think is in line with other places here in Corsica. The outdoor seating is on a quiet street.

20/06/2026: ★★★★★ We absolutely loved our stay at Hôtel Cala di Sole. Our room was spacious, extremely comfortable, and impeccably clean. The view over the Gulf of Ajaccio and the Îles Sanguinaires was simply spectacular and made every morning and evening special. We especially enjoyed the hotel’s private beach, which was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Breakfast was excellent, with a great selection and a lovely setting, and we also had several dinners at the hotel which were delicious and very enjoyable. The entire property is beautifully maintained, and we particularly appreciated the exceptional cleanliness throughout the hotel. The location on the Route des Sanguinaires is perfect for exploring Ajaccio while enjoying a peaceful seaside setting. We would not hesitate to return and highly recommend Hôtel Cala di Sole to anyone visiting Corsica.

19/05/2026: A superb culinary experience, with dishes that truly captured the flavors of Corsica—warm and rich. A delight for the taste buds. And the waiters' accents were a treat.

16/07/2026: The setting right on the beach is fantastic and the food is great as well. Some had the 3 course menu (with a fish soup, dorade royale and dessert) that was way too much food. Other had the steak with bearnaise sauce, the kids menu (hamburger and fries, ice cream) and the scallops. We were very pleased by everythiing!

12/07/2026: We had a wonderful evening in an idyllic setting on the terrace overlooking the turquoise waters of the sea. The service was professional and friendly. The dishes were delicious, and the salt-crusted fish was cooked to perfection. A very good culinary experience, even if the price is high, which didn't stop us from returning a second time.
