15/11/2025: Visited recently on 11/14/25 Indeed, it's a small, dark, and rather disorganized dive. I've known this place for decades. But it also has a Scottish (or Irish) pub vibe where the people are friendly, and you hear English spoken very often. I've even gone there with my young daughters without any worries. The draft beer menu that day wasn't particularly British, but it was quite extensive.

03/04/2026: I ate there twice and both times I got sick; plus, it's too greasy, it's not good, and it's too expensive.

22/02/2026: The owner was laughing with his drunk friends, who were insulting each other and shoving each other, all in good fun. And on top of that, our drinks were stolen from the table. I went to see the owner to tell him he'd seen we hadn't been drinking and that it was simply impossible for us to finish all our drinks in 10 minutes, especially since some glasses were even missing. He decided to offer me two shots, which weren't even worth what was stolen. I asked him who had stolen the four remaining glasses, and he said he didn't know, even though he'd been on the terrace with only two tables occupied and had been laughing with them for hours. I then noticed the glasses were on the counter. We were the only ones who ordered that drink and that color of glass, so I know they took our drinks to do something amongst themselves. So, this guy basically gave our drinks to his friends and then laughed at us, telling us to get lost with two shots. It's a bar for friends. If you're not buddies with the owner's crew, you can forget it. We paid over €80 for this. Go across the street; you'll get a better welcome and it's cheaper.

07/02/2026: It wasn't the first time, but this time... I've had enough... We ordered fairly quickly, then... nothing. We tried again 10 minutes... 20 minutes... 25 minutes later, we left... You've just lost some customers!

06/02/2026: La Chocolatetie has just been completely renovated. It's superb. The tea room is very bright and airy. And the chocolate selection makes you want to eat everything. We've posted photos online. It's the perfect place for a sweet treat. In winter, we prefer crepes and waffles. In summer, it's ice cream. The staff is very attentive. We had a crepe with a traditional hot chocolate (very rare in Valence). They have a fantastic selection of chocolates to take away. The couple who run this chocolate shop are very friendly and always come to greet you. We highly recommend this establishment located on the Place des Clercs in Valence. A successful renovation.

21/03/2026: A terrible experience. We ordered four meals, but they forgot the fries, and the bacon burger was missing bacon. When we asked the server for a replacement, they added cold bacon and cheese to the burger we had already taken a couple of bites of. When we asked again if they could heat up the burger, at least to melt the cheese, the burger we got back was still the same – cold burger and the cheese, nothing changed. I've never had such a bad McDonald's meal in France.

07/03/2026: It's okay, nothing special. Small dogs are prohibited in this area. I won't be back.

28/10/2025: An unforgettable experience at La Ravioline! For €16, we received such a tiny portion that we thought they'd made a mistake and given us a children's menu. To top it off, there were three hairs in the ravioli, one in each container—a "house touch," no doubt? 🤢 Between the price, the quantity, and the hygiene, it's a complete disaster… Thanks, but no thanks, we'll eat somewhere else next time.

09/09/2025: Very good ravioli, average location. I had a smartbox for €80, the bill was only €73, I wish we had been offered an extra coffee instead of a mandatory tip!
