He managed the meal with great professionalism, always attentive to our needs, and ensured we had a wonderful evening. Julien is adept at finding solutions for logistics and last-minute requests. We also dined at his restaurant, which was just as good as the wedding reception. The rest of his team reflects his culinary talent; they are all incredibly friendly. It's a pleasure to share an experience with him, whether it's for catering or dining at his restaurant. We highly recommend him and will definitely use his services again whenever the opportunity arises.

The prices reflect this, as do the artisanal work and the quality of the products. It's a well-known and popular spot with locals who come to enjoy bread, pastries, and cakes. There's no option to have coffee on-site because it's on a busy street.

04/09/2026: The window display was enticing, and I decided to go there after reading the Google reviews. And indeed, coming home from the shop, it was tempting... I ordered a set meal with a ham, butter, and Emmental cheese sandwich and a flan, and I added a wedding cake and a traditional baguette. The sandwich was very good, with quality ingredients. The flan was good, but lacked a bit of vanilla flavor, and the filling could use some tweaking; it was a little grainy. However, the pastry was very good and crispy. The wedding cake was good, but clearly lacked texture with its crispy layer; it was rather flat, I think, even though you can see the quality of the ingredients. The baguette was good. The prices are quite high, in my opinion... all these factors justify my 4-star rating. It's a good bakery, but nothing extraordinary considering the prices.

02/08/2026: Mixed feelings 🫤 The Saturday night crowd didn't help in getting a good sense of the service quality, however, the servers were courteous and professional. The only downside was that we didn't really have time to enjoy our aperitifs; the starters arrived far too quickly. As for the food... What a disappointment to have such good ingredients poorly prepared. The sweetbreads and sea bass fillet were overcooked, the kidneys undercooked... The vanilla-passion fruit butter was too strong in flavor, quickly becoming cloying. In the end, this restaurant offers a price-quality ratio that could be better if the kitchen staff had a bit more skill in their craft.

If memory serves, the residents of Évreux loyally frequented this reputable establishment for many years; the service was genuinely pleasant... BUT... Now, the feeling of mediocrity and swindling is deeply distressing in light of this past loyalty.

08/09/2026: Disastrous Brunch! Whatever you do, don't go for the 1 p.m. seating. Brunch is supposed to end at 3 p.m., but by 1 p.m., there's practically nothing left, and what's worse, no restocking is done. For some items, we had to ask for them to be refilled; we only received a meager plate of cheese and charcuterie. Even worse, at 1:30 p.m., we asked if it was possible to have scrambled eggs, since they had been gone for a while. We were simply told no, even though brunch was supposed to continue until 3 p.m. So we paid for an all-you-can-eat brunch without the "all-you-can-eat" option. The server was absolutely unpleasant and told us that it was up to us to ask when items were missing. I find this outrageous for an all-you-can-eat brunch: it's the staff's responsibility to monitor the buffet and ensure it's at least minimally restocked, especially when service is far from over. The most disappointing thing is that there was absolutely no compensation: no desserts from the menu offered as an alternative, no discount on the bill, nothing. Paying the price of a brunch only to be unable to access a large portion of what's offered is unacceptable. A very bad experience, which I absolutely do not recommend. I advise you not to listen to the supposedly positive reviews; once you're there, the reality is far from what you'd expect.

01/03/2026: On the road between Paris and Brittany, an unexpected stop in Évreux led us to discover this bakery. We left with a traditional baguette (5 stars: crispy and soft, perfectly baked), and an excellent pistachio and raspberry Paris-Brest—fragrant, smooth, and well-balanced. We also added an assortment of small oriental pastries, each more delicious than the last. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Évreux. The icing on the cake was the very warm welcome from a passionate and genuinely kind baker.
