05/01/2026: We walked in for lunch with my parents without a reservation around 1:00 p.m., and the team kindly found us a table about 30 minutes later. The staff was absolutely lovely — welcoming, attentive, and professional. The food was excellent, especially the starters and desserts, which were truly outstanding. Overall, a great dining experience and well worth a visit.

04/01/2026: Great time! I came for the raclette, which I'd already tried a few months ago, but unfortunately it was unavailable due to the weather. We also had an excellent beef carpaccio and a steak. Here's an old photo of the raclette to whet your appetite.

30/01/2026: A great find in Cannes, between the beach and Rue d'Antibes, a lovely little place with a warm welcome. We were on a break and were served quickly, and most importantly, we ate very well without breaking the bank, even though it's just steps from the Carré d'Or! I recommend it 😉

30/10/2025: A fantastic spot in Cannes that I just discovered today! I went for the first time and the service was courteous and quick. I got a tuna panini to go for my kids—it's huge, so one was more than enough for two—and a super generous salmon bagel, packed with avocado and delicious salmon, all in an excellent multigrain bagel. It was really great, and in the banana zone, which isn't so common! 😅 I highly recommend it and will definitely be back on my next trips to Cannes.

21/09/2025: My husband and I are visiting Cannes, since ober 16(!) years and we always have dinner at le chaperon rouge. It’s always great to enjoy good food and the very nice atmosphere. The team works hard and still has time for each guest. My husband enjoyed the escargots, it was fantastic. We are always very happy to visit le chaperon rouge and their team.

25/08/2025: My husband and I had the most wonderful dinner here tonight. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by both a man and a woman who served us throughout the evening – their friendly and homely demeanor instantly made us feel at ease. The service was truly incredible, attentive without ever feeling rushed. The food was just outstanding. My husband had the beef that was cooked to absolute perfection – he even said it was the best meal he’s ever had. I tried escargot for the very first time and was blown away by how delicious it was. We also shared the carpaccio, which was incredibly fresh, and the gamba shrimp with risotto, which was full of flavour. To finish, we had the tiramisu, which was light, creamy, and absolutely delightful. Everything was served fresh, warm, and beautifully presented. We left feeling so impressed with both the food and the service – this place is a real gem!

09/12/2025: We went to this restaurant for dinner and all 4 of us loved it. Great service and atmosphere, very welcoming staff. We ordered 2 onion soups and restaurant specialty - chicken with truffle for 2 people. Everything was absolutely DELICIOUS. We are happy we chose this restaurant and we would come again for sure. Recommend it. Thank you❤️

08/12/2025: Superb restaurant! I stopped by around 8 pm to eat alone and received a warm welcome. The dishes were very generous, with a special mention for the Camembert appetizer. It lacked a bit of atmosphere; perhaps some background music would help.

05/02/2026: The €69 set menu is completely overpriced for four courses that are more like appetizers. The place is cramped, too hot, and again, not worth the price for a set menu. There's very little creativity in the dishes, and to top it off, a dessert consisting of a scoop of ice cream and a piece of chocolate-covered pear. In short, Cannes without the splendor...

20/01/2026: We came for dinner to celebrate a birthday. A very good restaurant; we thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes on the surprise menu, from the appetizer to the dessert. The service was impeccable. A very good experience, and we hope to return soon. Well done to the chef!

13/12/2025: Fresh Marennes-Oléron oysters, boulotte sea snails, and classic Provençal fish soup with rouille, breadcrumbs, and grated cheese—presented authentically, without the touristy gloss. The quality of the food is good, the service is fast—I barely had time to order and it was brought right away, the atmosphere is lively, and there are plenty of people. But it's not quite my thing.

29/01/2026: The beach is lovely in winter, beautifully landscaped. The atmosphere is peaceful, with a wonderful clientele, and the staff are incredibly attentive and make you feel welcome. The food is divine, beautifully presented, with a wide selection and generous portions of white fish. The pastries are to die for. Thank you to the whole team.

04/02/2026: “We haven’t accepted credit cards since 1935.” Okay, I can understand the reason in 1935, but in 2026 I shudder to think… No specific reason is given, and they even seem to take pride in it, as if to deflect attention. Everyone is free to do as they please, but I did indeed deflect attention and booked elsewhere. It’s a real shame that Michelin gives credit to this establishment, whose service falls so far short of its usual standards.

05/01/2026: The beef in wine was tasty, but definitely overcooked. The service was very friendly. The interior was too dark. On Google, it was listed as open until 5 PM, but by 3 PM they were already closing. If I had gone there specifically and found the place closed, I would have given it 1 star – a complete lack of respect for the customer.
