26/05/2026: Had an experience with front desk. Upon realizing they had erred with my parking arrangements, instead of apologizing or acknowledging the mistake, front desk staff was dismissive and stated what was the big deal- I’d just be paying a few more euros. I was surprised by the response - obviously a few euros is something I could cover, but the reaction was rude and condescending. Very inappropriate response to a guest. Just acknowledge the mistake - don’t brush it away as unimportant. Arthur/Anton could use some more training on how to handle guest services.

10/04/2026: An exceptional place. A magnificent site which, after a few years of closure, has been completely renovated. The lobby is majestic with its chandeliers, high ceilings, and marble. The staff is incredibly attentive. Friendly and smiling! The breakfast is enormous but a bit pricey at 54 euros. In any case, in this category, all prices are high. I treated myself to a Coca-Cola at the bar for 14 euros. Served with olives, crisps, and cashews. The room was comfortable. The bed was enormous. Thick carpeting on the floor. Bathroom with shower and bathrobes. Numerous toiletries were available. Around 3 p.m., they leave some homemade treats for you to enjoy in your room. They prepare you for the night before you go to sleep by making up your bed, closing the curtains, and placing a small bottle of water on your bedside table. And, if you please, your pajamas folded at the edge of the bed! I was lucky enough to have a sea view. There's an outdoor (heated?) infinity pool in the central garden. Inviting sun loungers surround the pool. Soft background music plays, and the garden is beautifully decorated with greenery and relaxation areas. And above all... lots and lots of marble. An exceptional place. After that, it's hard to go back to normal life!

20/05/2026: If you are Arab or Black, steer clear. We felt disdain and a lack of consideration from beginning to end. At the entrance, the security guard wanted to refuse us entry because, according to him, my brothers weren't "dressed well enough," even though they were simply wearing perfectly acceptable Zara linen outfits. Fortunately, his superior acknowledged that the attire was appropriate, and we were finally allowed in. But being humiliated in front of everyone for that was already very awkward, especially seeing other customers dressed the same, or even worse. Throughout the evening, we asked for blankets because it was cold. The servers kept saying "yes, we're coming," but we never received anything. Yet, we saw them bringing them to other tables around us. After several ignored requests, the message was pretty clear. In short, there are plenty of places to spend your money without feeling like you're being treated differently. The food was good, though. UPDATE: Following my review, the restaurant manager contacted me personally to apologize for our experience. He assured me that this behavior did not reflect the establishment's values ​​and took the time to listen to what we had to say. The offered gesture of goodwill was appreciated. This is exactly the kind of after-sales service and willingness to learn that we would like to see more often. Thank you, Dylan!

10/05/2026: Fantastic restaurant: wonderful meals, friendly and efficient service and very reasonable prices. We tried 3 different meals from the menu: duck confit, stewed beef cheek and le plat du jour - cod with aioli sauce. They were all absolutely delicious. They have awards for original, high-quality meals and I can see why. Highly recommended. I'm only sorry that we're not still there to try more.

16/05/2026: The food at Cannelle was okay, but definitely overpriced. However, the real issue was the service and seating arrangement; I understand that the lunch service was very busy, but despite having a reservation, I was seated directly under the blazing sun. When I asked to move to one of the empty tables with an umbrella, the staff claimed they were all reserved. Given that I had also made a reservation, this felt like an excuse, and it was hard not to feel upset and puzzled by this.

28/04/2026: I was looking for wine for my wedding and I left it a bit late. My friend told me about this wine shop. They were incredibly kind to me and, above all, gave me excellent advice. I bought everything from them: white, rosé, and red. I love wine but I'm not a connoisseur. They were able to guide me, taking into account my tastes and the menu. I only received positive feedback from my guests. A huge thank you!

31/03/2026: A very convincing wine cellar. Almost exclusively Burgundy, and that's perfect! The selection is wide and covers all budgets, from simple and accessible wines to more ambitious bottles. You immediately sense that you're dealing with connoisseurs. The advice is precise without being intrusive (which is rare these days with all those wannabe pros who talk about natural wines all day long), and makes you want to come back and explore further. The spirits selection complements everything nicely, and the cellar is well-stocked. You can take your time to look, compare, and chat. The place feels more like entering a winemaker's cellar than a simple shop. It's not quite Saint Vincent's Day, but almost. All that's missing is an egg meurette to make the experience complete. A solid address for anyone who loves Burgundy and is looking for a serious, lively, and well-run establishment. I'll be back and I highly recommend it!

06/05/2026: Every time we come to Cannes, we make sure to stop by L’Affable. It’s the perfect restaurant for lunch, with a very warm welcome, attentive and professional staff, and delicious food. The ingredients are high quality and the dishes are beautifully prepared. Excellent value for money. You can go there without hesitation.

04/05/2026: Delicious food in a small and cozy restaurant -- I had the smoked salmon starter, lobster ravioli, and soufflé. Their Saturday reservations were all booked up but, luckily, I was able to walk in and get a table for 3 at opening time.

26/03/2026: Passing through Cannes, I was looking for a reasonably priced salad. I was delighted; the welcome was warm and friendly. The ingredients were fresh and high-quality, and the salad was prepared to order, so adjustments were possible. A real treat! And the portion was very generous, excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.
