08/12/2024: Great evening spent in this unique place. Really very warm welcome from the boss and the whole team. Quality concerts, quality culinary performances and.... A place where you feel at ease with really very friendly people. I highly recommend!

12/11/2024: Este restaurante entrega. Gran menú. Buena comida. Cenar por dentro o por fuera. Gente maravillosa dirige este restaurante. Finalmente encontramos una deliciosa Boulliabase en Villefranche. En el casco antiguo. Gran servicio, gran carta de vinos. Te encantará.

30/10/2024: Superbe petit restaurant familial sur la rue du Poilu, produits frais, plats délicieux et généreusement servis, rapport qualité prix imbattable dans ce coeur de village ultra touristique. Les tables en terrasse permettent de s'immerger dans cette petite rue à l'architecture de village italien, un vrai dépaysement. Le service est tout simplement au top, alors bien sur je recommande.

14/08/2024: Cute bistro tapas restaurant, just off the main promenade within the quaint backstreets. Friendly staff and a delicious menu, makes this place worth a visit.

14/08/2024: This spot was such a find with a cute odor patio and tasty tapas and great wine! Staff was kind and friendly - very welcoming. I had the best time and meal and the owner came over was friendly & made excellent wine pairing recommendations too. As someone who loves wine, they did a great job!! I can’t say anything but positive things about this lovely cafe - it made my trip in so many ways!! Ambiance is amazzzing too!! Don’t forget the dessert too!

03/09/2024: To be honest, this restaurant wasn’t very impressive. I had a glass of champagne, sparkling water, goat cheese watermelon melon salad, cod fillet, apricot tart for dinner. My partner had similar 3 course meal. We paid 133 Euros so price was ok but the food was just average. It wasn’t very delicious to be honest. It was ok but nothing special. I saw very good review on google so I went there for my birthday. I asked for lemon slices for the sparkling water in the beginning but I got it by the time I got my dessert(1.5hrs later). Also the waiter kept bumping into my partner’s head several times when passing by. Quite disappointed about the whole experience. Atmosphere was romantic and cute. I don’t think I’ll go back there again. Overall ok price for ok taste food, poor service, cute atmosphere.

28/09/2024: I can’t rate the food but the atmosphere was amazing with a lovely view. Unfortunately, we were not able to eat here because they refused to seat us outside even though one staff member initially said there was a table available for us. another very snooty person refused staffer refused to seat saying we were only allowed to sit inside. We left. We’ve been watching “our” empty table for over two hours from another restaurant on the hill while we spend over €300 on food and drinks . . We’ve seen no one go in or out of that restaurant in that time so I hope it was worth it. If I was the owner, I would be furious.. but maybe they only allow certain type of customers on the patio based on their discernment.

22/09/2024: The food was excellent, no complaints there, but the attitude of one of the waitresses really ruined our experience. Reading the comments below, I realize that I am not the only one who found his behavior very unpleasant. Maybe it's time for her to question herself. You seem like a very bitter woman, and having such an attitude towards customers who arrive a few minutes late is not the end of the world. It's important to understand that most of your customers are tourists and we are not local, so it may have taken us a while to find the restaurant. Additionally, this is one of the few restaurants I have seen refuse to accommodate a baby. According to her, I should have specified in my reservation that there would be a baby. I didn't know that a 4 month old baby needed a special mention, especially since she doesn't eat anything. She made a big deal about the stroller. She was just trying to get into conflict with us and make a big deal out of everything. When my mother suggested that she remove a chair so we could place the stroller, she didn't know what to say because she had no intention of accommodating us or finding a solution. As new parents, it has become rare for us to be able to go out to restaurants. This was one of the first times we allowed ourselves to do this, and I appreciate you ruining our experience just because you were frustrated with us being late.

06/09/2024: Terrible waiter attitude. We arrive at 1:35 p.m. some tables on the terrace are empty, end of service at 2:00 p.m. One of the waiters seats us, while we say hello to another waiter who lets us pass, he does not answer us even though we pass 20cm in front of him. We politely remark to the person who seats us and straightens the table, the latter tells us dryly we are full, whereas just before he told us yes and took us to the table. A nice way to get us out of the way, because our remark didn't please him. We left and sat at the restaurant next door, where we noticed that there were no reservations. It’s still sad to be received like that, in a place where you come to have a good time and spend money.

10/12/2024: FUYEZ !! Scandaleux. Arnaque à fuire . quel que soit le plat choisi (viande à 300€) elle ne vous sera servie qu'avec un pomme de terre (pas cramée si vous avez de la chance) 1ère fois que je prends la peine d'écrire un commentaire à 0 étoile qui les valent croyez moi. couple dune 40aine d'années financièrement "capable" d'assurer une addition de + de 600€ je peux vous garantir que je n'y remettrai plus JAMAIS les pieds . ce message a pour but d'avertir . C'est une arnaque du début à la fin. quand nous avons demandé si une salade ou un accompagnement allait arriver on nous a refusé car il n'y en avait plus. payer ta viande 290€ et la voir arriver SEULE sans RIEN d'autre dans l'assiette . on a cru a une blague au début mais à en lire les autres commentaire je comprends que nous ne sommes pas les seules. désagréable en plus... je n'ai jamais vécu une expérience telle que celle ci . Horrible et hautains en plus . changez de métier si c'est pour accueillir vos clients dune telle manière. FUYEZ

31/03/2024: My mum and I are customers of the tea room since day 1 and we used to love this place. Unfortunately 3rd unpleasant experience in a row: waiter is completely rude and poor customer service. We won’t support this local company place anymore! A shame for Villefranche notoriety! My mother and I have been customers of the tea room since it opened and a fan since day 1. Unfortunately, 3rd unpleasant experience in a row with an anti-commercial and unpleasant server. We are from Villefranche and will no longer support this business. A shame for the image of Villefranche

30/03/2024: Best hotel experience we've had to date, fantastic view, friendly and professional staff who do everything to ensure you have a simple and nice stay. Perhaps the flowers in the breakfast restaurant need to be changed a little more often, but this is in the petty department.
