It's not difficult: everything is good, well prepared with a touch of "revisited", ultra fresh products and there is an excellent pastry chef 🧁!
The service is impeccable, the servers welcoming and accommodating. They have been there a long time and know the customers. A nice little word that always pleases.
And then in summer, there is this magnificent terrace on the beautiful Place Ducale…
So we are going back with great pleasure! 🥰

02/04/2024: Very friendly welcome from the owner and a regional dish, Cacasse, a typical dish made from only Ardennes products (cast iron casserole cooking: potatoes/white sausage/smoked brisket) succulent. And the charcuterie and cheese board is very good.
01/04/2024: Excellent Easter meal, fresh produce and authentic cuisine, careful service, charming place! I hope that this restaurant will last over time, and that it will be able to regain its outdoor seating capacity, so that as many people as possible can enjoy it.

Desserts that will make you melt.
You fell in love with this restaurant, you can go there with your eyes closed.
However 1 star less for missing space when it is full.

The lunch menu which offers 3 starters, 3 main courses and 3 desserts for €17 is a bargain given the quality of the cuisine! I recommend 1000%!

04/01/2024: Small bakery discovered during an impromptu visit to this beautiful little town in the French Ardennes. The baker gave us a warm welcome and explained to us the specialties of the region: pipes from Givet, delicacies from Mehul. Delicious galette des rois in a two-person format with a good buttery taste. Thank you Madam for sharing the passion for your region.
