23/05/2026: Stopped here with a friend for coffee whilst on a motorbike tour. The owner is supper lovely and could not have been more welcoming.

07/05/2026: A fantastic find! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the service impeccable, and the entire team is incredibly attentive. The dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and prepared with fresh ingredients. Special mention goes to the desserts, which were amazing. You can feel the passion in the kitchen and the attention to detail. Excellent value for money. I will definitely be back and highly recommend it!

17/05/2026: Very disappointed. It was my son's birthday yesterday. For the occasion, I invited 8 friends. It was impossible to book the laser tag in advance. We arrived at 4:45 PM. There were no slots available before 6:00 PM. When they arrived, three 15-year-old girls were added to their group even though they wanted to play 4x4 and there was no one behind them. They were insulting. One of the laser tag guns didn't work. One of the children couldn't play for 10 minutes. It wasn't a very enjoyable experience for any of the children.

A natural consequence of its reputation, it's often crowded, but the wait is part of the pleasure: it makes every bite of its creations all the more delicious and memorable.

02/08/2026: The bread is good, but I had an unpleasant surprise: a hair, a thread—I'm not really sure what it is. The pastries are very good, but expensive. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

12/05/2026: A lovely hotel worth discovering. You need to know the area to find it, and it's near one of the last remaining coaching inns. The welcome is warm, and the young staff are very pleasant and friendly.

09/08/2026: We had booked a table for 9 people for our mother's 80th birthday. The food was good but the service was slow (as a result, we missed the cavalry show) and no candle was placed on the dessert!

08/08/2026: The ribeye steak was mediocre, and then they tried to charge me €29 for the "special" ribeye instead of the regular one I ordered. So be careful...!

07/08/2026: Everything was perfect. We ate on the terrace (6% surcharge), the waiter was very friendly, and the meal was delicious. The ribeye steak and fries were excellent! A very good restaurant in Givet.

24/06/2026: A very pleasant surprise! We stumbled upon it by chance (one of the few restaurants open on a Monday in the area). A warm welcome. The setting is lovely. There's plenty of space. The dining room and the back terrace are both charming; the steak tartare and fries were excellent, with real fries. I highly recommend it!

17/06/2026: Lovely typical French roadside restaurant. Had a delicious meal. +/- 50 euros per person à la carte: entrecote, main course, dessert. Very friendly hostess. We will definitely be back.

10/02/2026: We came on Saturday evening and were disappointed; our food was cold. And the toilets were a mess.

23/12/2025: The owners gave us a very warm welcome. The cottage is lovely, nicely decorated, functional, and has a private entrance. The breakfast was surprisingly good. In short, we had a very pleasant stay.

02/07/2026: Pleasant setting. The meal was decent, although a bit pricey for a salad and steak tartare. The servers could be a bit more pleasant... they took away the rillettes we had as an aperitif without asking; not a single smile. The server offered desserts, including profiteroles, to the next table. He then offered us desserts, but this time he didn't offer profiteroles... So I asked, and the response was, "Oh yes, they do have them..." In short, the food was decent, but the service could be more welcoming.

26/07/2026: This Sunday, I made a quick stop at Flunch, wanting to enjoy a pastry or some delicious ice cream. A decent selection, and the staff were friendly and kind. Thank you, thank you for making it possible, through your presence and your work, to find a place where we can spend a pleasant moment. We highly recommend this place.
