11/12/2025: An unusual spot at the foot of Hierges Castle. Drawn in by the BBQ on the terrace, we stepped inside La Causerie des Lilas. The welcome was friendly, simple yet professional. Good quality ingredients, well-prepared, and no fries... which is rare in this area... We had a lovely time. The unpretentious but well-executed dishes will delight your taste buds. We'll gladly return. Good value for money.

18/01/2026: The Auberge de l’Abbaye in Signy-l’Abbaye is an excellent choice for those seeking authentic, generous, and convivial cuisine in a setting steeped in history. Located in the heart of the village, near the old abbey, the inn charms with both its warm atmosphere and the quality of its dishes. The cuisine is traditional and refined, showcasing local produce and regional recipes. The portions are generous, beautifully presented, and reflect true culinary expertise. The value for money is excellent, making it a recommended spot for both family meals and lunchtimes. The welcome is simple, warm, and professional, true to the spirit of village inns where you quickly feel at ease. The peaceful and authentic setting contributes to making the Auberge de l’Abbaye a must-visit restaurant in Signy-l’Abbaye. A sure bet for both locals and visitors passing through the Ardennes.

12/01/2026: We stayed at your hotel from January 2nd to January 8th, 2026. A very pleasant hotel, excellent room, good quality food (home-style cooking), and very friendly staff always ready to find solutions. A special thank you to Mrs. Véronique for her kindness and helpfulness.

04/11/2025: 10/10 and I mean it because I spent TEN NIGHTS here convalescing a minor cycling ailment 🤣 I could not have picked a better rural location to do so while staying on-budget. The campground offers nice pitches, clean bathrooms and hot water, a washing machine/dryer, very good pizza on Mondays and Thursdays, and a small store that likely has what you need, particularly if it’s good beer. The amenities are tremendous: There is a wonderful lake for swimming and several delightful walking trails leading to the village only 15-20 minutes away. Buzancy itself offers two excellent restaurants, a very good grocery store, and a patisserie. Best of all, the multilingual campground hosts Petrie and Tony are exceptionally cheerful and helpful. I will never forget my time in Buzancy.

06/12/2025: You might think you're walking into a bar/tobacconist, but think again! Upstairs is a fantastic restaurant where you'll find superb meat. Highly recommended! ☺️

24/09/2025: What a lovely and cozy restaurant with lovely background music, friendly service, and a delicious menu. The plat du jour is a bit more upscale. The wine selection is also extensive, but if you're there, I highly recommend the white Sancerre! This restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

05/09/2025: This September 4th, there were two of us on a terrace for a beer and a shandy, I gave a €20 note, I received the change, I didn't check and later I realized that I had been cheated out of €10... I invite customers to check carefully and not to trust them too much! because without a receipt it's difficult to go back and complain!

25/08/2025: I came to the place on Saturday, August 23rd with a colleague and 2 residents with disabilities. We had been to Carrefour before to buy something to eat and drink for the residents. We sat down and asked for the menu. So far, no problems. The waitress then came back to take our order, I kindly told her that we were going to have 2 cafés crème and also asked if we could have glasses and spoons for the residents. The waitress said yes, and asked me what she was putting in the glasses. I told her that we had already bought what was needed for them, the waitress told me that it was not possible because it was a bar and that here we served drinks. In principle, I could understand. The waitress then went to see her boss who from the beginning did not deign to say hello, so in terms of friendliness we will pass. And the person starts yelling "Oh no, out of the question, it doesn't work like that in the bars in Charleville" that's all, I tell the waitress that we're leaving. I spoke to several of my colleagues who told me that she had no problem having only a coffee, and having already bought what was needed for the residents, so I don't understand at all why we were refused for things that had already been accepted with others. Rudeness, no friendliness and disrespect from the woman who yelled in the restaurant. My colleague and I were shocked, I do not recommend it at all.
