We have a beer on the square before going to eat.
The grain of salt will be our canteen.
Arrival 12:30 p.m.
Vaulted room, with display case of cassoulet, blanquette and co…
We are welcomed by Noëlle and Sylviane (mother and daughter)
Family atmosphere, relaxed atmosphere….
We eat well, we eat well.
The Armagnac and Pear digestive concludes this meal around 3:30 p.m.
I allow myself to do the service and clear the tables, I tell you it's like home.

Answer. You must be confused. You told me that you don't reserve for 1 p.m. outside and that in any case: I quote: ''Anyway... when we tell customers that there is no place on the terrace they leave elsewhere !! To this I told you no worries.. I was in no way unpleasant.. On the contrary, very surprised by your reaction. It's not serious. To see the other opinions I am not the only one

02/04/2024: On the way back from vacation, we stopped at this establishment.
A warm brasserie, with seats inside but also on the terrace.
Brasserie cuisine, simple, hearty, and very good.
The salad at the counter was very generous! The burger counter also, toasted bread with good homemade fries and excellent meat and cheese inside.
A little disappointed, however, by the dessert of the day, the tarte tatin which arrived cold and without any crunch (no puff pastry or crunchy biscuits at the bottom), too bad.
The staff is smiling, pleasant, efficient. The boss is friendly and asks you if you have eaten well and thanks you and greets you when you leave, which is nice.
It’s a good address on Ax!

15/04/2024: We had booked this hotel through the ANWB, the room was large but everything there needs to be renovated, it is old and looks cheap, the mattress was made of plastic that you slept on. The restaurant was closed during our 3 night stay. The breakfast was minimal. It is difficult to communicate if they do not speak English. Long live Google Translate. A one-off visit for us

02/04/2024: Very good time at La Grignothèque! Excellent menu at only €37 for lunch: starter, main course, dessert. Lots of creativity in the chef's kitchen with local products! French gastronomy in the era of time. Special mention for the mackerel and its cauliflower cream as well as the kiwi-strawberry Breton puck: a delight! Also a nice wine list and careful service.
01/04/2024: We were disappointed by the taste of the starters, very very bland, the meat hard and dry.
The service was not pleasant for us because we had the misfortune to say that the starters were bland.
For the rest of the dishes we did not give our opinion directly so as not to argue.
We will not repeat the experience.
