08/03/2026: A small, traditional French restaurant located near Foix Castle.
It was excellent, and the atmosphere was very friendly. I recommend the duck parmentier, which was simply delicious. For dessert, the coffee verrine (the exact name escapes me) was also delectable. The portions were generous for a very reasonable price, the food was high quality, and made with local products!
It's worth noting that there isn't a lot of space inside.

27/10/2025: Pleasant bar located on a small street opposite the Château de Foix.
The owner is pleasant and has a good sense of humor.

The service was friendly and impeccable, the food was impeccable and delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect! Group of 6, excellent service, very good starters, very tender veal stew, homemade desserts...
Highly recommended. A nice touch was the complimentary plum at the end of the meal, and we had a great laugh with the chef who has excellent customer service skills...

10/02/2026: I enjoyed the three-cheese macaroni; it was delicious. It's always a pleasure to return to this restaurant; the service is friendly and the dishes are generally well-prepared. I've really enjoyed many of the dishes I've had there.
05/01/2026: Rare restaurant open on a Monday evening. Decent pizza. Goat cheese salad with a mass-produced log of cheese and soggy toast... It's not hard to do better!

The service was very disappointing. When I simply asked if I could see the certificate for the halal meat, it wasn't displayed anywhere, and the manager became disproportionately angry, even though he told me on the phone that it was indeed halal.
If he had confirmed that the meat wasn't halal, it wouldn't have been a problem for me: I would have simply ordered a four-cheese pizza.
However, the way I was spoken to was unacceptable and very unprofessional. I remained calm despite the aggressive tone used.
I find this truly regrettable, as a minimum of respect and courtesy should be the foundation of any business. I strongly advise against this establishment.

24/08/2024: Juste un café en terrasse. Tables et chaises sales, personnel endormi, café pas bon du genre robusta premier prix. Je n'y reviendrai pas.

Superb welcome and the rooms are superb when we come to Foix, it's our HQ 🎉🙏
01/10/2025: We stayed in this hotel for 1 night. While this is a lovely, well located hotel, our room (budget) was not adapted to the price (€97). We were fully aware we were booking a budget room but we didn't think it would be so basic. It was clean, comfortable but the room probably dates back to the 70's. The bathroom is of an other age. This is a pity as the hotel is very well located and the staff is extremely friendly yet professional. The owner (or Manager) was more than helpfull with finding space for parking our motorbikes. The receptionist from New Zealand was very helpful. The breakfast was good but a bit basic/simple but the breakfast room is very well located over looking the river. Overall, if the roomn was of a better standard and some elements added to the breakfast, it would be a 5* rating from us. Thank you for your welcome and recommendations for food and drinks.

Les serveurs sont attentionné,les assiettes bien remplies et les prix très raisonnable.
10/08/2024: Une très belle découverte sur la route de l'Andorre. Le plat du jour, un poulet fermier cuit au feu de bois et cuisiné à la sauce champignons était excellent. La mousse au chocolat et la croustade, servies avec une boule de glace étaient également très bonnes.Nous sommes arrivés par hasard, nous reviendrons par choix.
