16/09/2024: Did a road trip to Foix and enjoyed lunch here. The veggi risotto was amazing, the atmosphere was warm and the staff were friendly.
13/09/2024: We arrived at the Jeu de l'Oie a bit by chance and we were not disappointed!
Quality cuisine, friendly welcome, pleasant atmosphere.
If we return to Foix, there is a good chance we will stop there again. And this time it won’t be by chance 😉
Above all, do not focus on the particularly negative opinion which dates back several years, they are no longer the same owners.

09/09/2024: If you are looking for a very good restaurant in Foix, this is it. Tasty dishes, attentive boss and waitresses with just the right word for everyone. We ate there twice in a week, it was so good. Little nugget: the crayfish casserole and the duck tournedos and its porcini mushroom sauce.... a killer! We will keep very good memories of our Ariège holiday.

30/09/2024: A very warm welcome, excellent bedding, a large wardrobe to store your clothes and a beautiful bathroom, toilet, the whole is very clean, a relaxing rear view of Ariège and a good quality breakfast. A large public car park about 400m away (rates may be excessive and payment varies) with good restaurants nearby for all tastes. Thanks again to the young girl at reception for her kindness and professionalism.
29/09/2024: Very nice address to stay in the beautiful town of Foix. The hotel is perfectly located, its quality services. Spacious and comfortable room. Breakfast is generous and pleasantly served on the veranda overlooking the Ariège.
Attentive staff, friendliness and a very warm welcome. A family atmosphere.

10/09/2024: Very warm welcome, arriving at 1:50 p.m., they still served us with a smile 😃, home-cooked meals, advice on regional products, they defend their terroir well. Only 1 menu and you see, you don't need an endless menu for good...pleasure

06/09/2024: Nothing exceptional. We had an Ariegoise galette and a burger.
The pieces of duck in the pancake were overcooked, and just sitting on the pancake.
The fries that accompanied the burger were very good, the burger nothing more.

18/08/2024: Arriving with 10 people just before closing at 2 p.m., very well received, the tables were moved to be suitable for children. The managers were super nice. And the food is excellent! A good time spent with family and friends :-)
Address to remember!
15/08/2024: Super spot gache par le patron un peu bas du front et pas super acceuillant sauf pour les habitues. Horaires d'ouvertures pas super non plus.

29/08/2024: During the visit to Foix and its castle we took a break for lunch at Au Grilladou, without having reserved we had a table (for 4) quickly.
We had lunch in the street which is completely pedestrianized, which is much more pleasant.
With a bit of a wait, which is logical being in the middle of the lunch rush, we took the opportunity to have an aperitif.
The slightly noisy atmosphere given the number of people seated in the street is pleasant, and so is our server.
The food is good, we enjoyed a moment of relaxation.
During the bill, our waiter kindly took the payment card for the restaurant vouchers.

28/08/2024: 24 euros por dos cervezas y 2 Cocacolas, servicio nefasto. Sitio muy sucio. Básicamente una estafa.Ni se os ocurra pisar este sitio.
24/08/2024: Juste un café en terrasse. Tables et chaises sales, personnel endormi, café pas bon du genre robusta premier prix. Je n'y reviendrai pas.

10/08/2024: Une très belle découverte sur la route de l'Andorre. Le plat du jour, un poulet fermier cuit au feu de bois et cuisiné à la sauce champignons était excellent. La mousse au chocolat et la croustade, servies avec une boule de glace étaient également très bonnes.Nous sommes arrivés par hasard, nous reviendrons par choix.
09/04/2024: Simple et délicieux, menu du jour avec un rapport qualité/quantité/prix excellent. Fait maison avec légumes du jour du marché. J’ai du mal à comprendre certains commentaires précédents, un peu comme si nous n’avions pas mangé dans le même établissement. Service top également.
