02/09/2026: We've been to this restaurant several times and we're always delighted! The dishes are delicious and subtle, without being over the top. The service is always perfect! The value for money is ideal for this kind of cuisine; we'll definitely be back (again!) without hesitation!

12/09/2026: What a find for brunch after reading other reviews! The brunch was huge and cooked to order, excellent selection of teas and the coffee was really good as well

25/08/2026: A delightful little restaurant in the heart of Troyes' historic center, on a quiet, peaceful street... Chez Axelle is a superb, tranquil spot where the husband (?) warmly welcomes and serves with genuine enthusiasm while his wife is busy in the kitchen, ensuring a generous and satisfying meal. Please be sure to make a brunch reservation, especially on Sundays, as it's essential to enjoy the service. Thank you again, it was DELICIOUS. We'll be back!!!

31/08/2026: Pleasant place to sit outside for a drink on a warm evening but don't expect table service, better to order at the bar.

11/09/2026: We came here to try the local delicacy andouillette sausage. Not for the faint hearted, it’s pungent but yet chewy - probably a bit of mustard works to musk away the smell and digestive after. I’m happy to try but don’t think I will have this again.

06/09/2026: Best wine bar in town... I went there 3 times in 2 days

27/09/2026: We are beyond thrilled… we are over the moon! Just a month and a half before our wedding, our previous caterer announced they were withdrawing. Needless to say, the situation was incredibly stressful just weeks before the big day. Habib agreed to take over our wedding with a smile, great kindness, and outstanding professionalism. He even agreed to keep the menu we had already chosen, without changing the price. From then on, all our communication was smooth, quick, and reassuring. We immediately felt we were in good hands. And to get back to the main point: everything was simply excellent! For us and our guests alike, it was a resounding success, with a special mention for the savory éclair, which will be remembered for years to come! 😍 All of our guests congratulated us on choosing Café du Midi as our caterer. But beyond the quality of the food, we were also won over by the personal touch. Habib and his entire team were fantastic, with a special mention for his sister in the dining room, who particularly impressed us with her kindness, smile, and good humor throughout the day. The team took care of everything for our wedding, from the cocktail hour to the meal, and even the cold brunch the following day, and everything went perfectly. So, once again, a huge thank you to Habib and his entire team for helping to make the most important meal of our lives such a beautiful and memorable experience. After the situation we found ourselves in a few weeks prior, we couldn't have hoped for a better encounter. We wholeheartedly recommend Café du Midi, and this time, as regular customers, we will be delighted to come back for lunch during the week! 🤍

23/09/2026: Still as good as ever, thank you to the whole team! Private hire available for groups of 15 or more and catering services available.

04/10/2026: For us, one of the most delightful discoveries in France. Superb chocolate and pastries – and what's particularly appealing is that the focus here is on the product itself, not on elaborate packaging and marketing. That's exactly how it should be.
